Cue over-dramatic charge sequence. The metal man is awfully fast. Allen should probably do something to avoid the right cross coming his way.

Well. Could I get a push on the swings, then?" Civvy asks, currently hanging from the monkey bars Rein was eying warily.

And with a happy little squee, Civvy runs over to the swings. Her mounting method is pretty adorable; she jumps while still a bit away, and lands on the swing, which sends it rocking from side to side while Civvy lets out a quiet 'wheeee~'.

Allen sighs as the crazy guy in the metal outfit decides to make this his buisness. God damn heroes, always mucking about where they weren't wanted. At least this bozo was talking a lot, gave him time to get ready.

As the tinman charges up, Allen shoves the bloody, serrated edge of his knife into his mouth, holding it by his teeth with the cloth of his bandana keeping it from cutting him. He's holding the dwarf's head by its ear as he stands, the heavy black weight hanging from the beard. He spins, his long-coat swirling, the bowling-ball sized sphere swinging. Allen swings the weight to get in his aggressor's way, slamming into him. Regardless of whether or not it hits, the cowboy merc takes off at a sprint down the alleyways and takes the first turn available to him.

"Sometimes. I just... don't recommend jumping on them." Reinholdt will move to get behind her and... push! He's not particularly strong and she's probably a bit bigger than recommended, so he has to put a good amount of effort into getting a good speed.

If Civvy knew you just called her fat, she'd probably be very sad. For all of a few seconds, then she'd be back to happy.

Though, oddly enough, she does weigh less than it might appear she should. Like gravity pulls a bit less on her.

That's either a very light weight or that dwarf had very strong ears.
Isaac, because that's his name, doesn't break stride. He bats the ball away with his arm and keeps running. The metal body isn't built for speed, but it is much stronger than a normal person, so it's still probably faster than a human. He tries to get a hand-hold on Allen. Just a simple, secure grab on a part of his body for a second. Because if he does he'll be sending a few amperes through his body. And a few amperes can be quite a lot of electrical current. Especially for organic life that's mostly liquid.

"Sure! What do you suggest?" She asks, jumping off the swing at the height of it going forwards. She lands a bit awkwardly, but recovers nicely.

Well I did say like five times that the weight is really quite heavy. So there's that.

Either way, Isaac is going to have some trouble catching Allen. When the Iron-Man expy reaches out to grab him, the merc ducks to the left and avoids Isaac's crackling grasp. Allen continues to run from the do-gooder, barely ahead. As he passes a stack of crates as he runs through the narrow alley, and as he passes them he kicks out one of the lower ones. Their balance disrupted, the empty containers come tumbling down, either crashing on Isaac or at least blocking his path.

Hoping for a brief respite, Allen tucks the Mighty Beard's head under one arm and grabs the handle of his knife with the other. The goddamn dwarf's stupid weight thing was slowing him down. It'd have to go. He takes his knife to the braided beard, sawing at it as he runs.

You did, but you could have been lying. You can never trust those shifty narrators.
Isaac manages to skid and slow down enough to not get buried, and makes a very tall leap. Technically flight is part of the suit's very small repertoire of powers (but don't tell Allen that it's that small), but in this case he's only using it to get a basic height boost to his jump and a glide down, so despite being new to it he only wobbles a little.
Hopefully Allen remembers his comic book tropes and remembers to watch out above him for drop-kicking would-be heroes.

Granted, she slips half way up, falls flat on her face, and slides back down it.

With a quiet 'ooooh' of realization, she now understands what the slide is meant for! Sliding! Ingenious!

Though she runs back up it again before sliding down.

Magtok staggers back under the tremendous weight of the unconscious super, briefly rattled by the fellow's seeming return to action before he realizes what's actually afoot. The cyborg shoves the sleepy sack of spandex to the ground, staggering slightly as he does so. Aaagh, Frosty is ****ing heavy!

"Blagh. You should've accidentally thrown this guy overboard before we got up this high. Now we're stuck with him, and here I am with a secret base that's way too busy being at war to use one of its many slow, convoluted, rotating death traps."

The safe continues to rise into the sky and away from Inside, but beyond that, it doesn't really seem to have a destination in mind.

Meanwhile, poor Mister Frosty Ice Dood continues to just lie on the ground, flopped in a rather uncomfortable position.

Dawn turns a confused and somewhat uncomfortable gaze towards the pipes. "The... pipes? What do you mean? What happened to the hostages?"

"I'm not picking up anymore hostile contacts..." Geneva gives a bit of a frown. And then replies to the voice in her head. "You've been cutting in and out since we got here. Maybe it's because of the trip over? I really hope your artifact didn't get damaged somehow..."

She would really hate it if her friend got broken. Even though her friend is clearly just a simulacrum with no actual self awareness she's still nice to talk to. Geneva decides that she should go find that Sigil Stripe person as soon as possible so he can examine the artifact. But in the mean time? In the mean time she dumps the water out of her canteen and begins scooping some green scuzz into it.

"Inside the pipes, huh?" Sunder echoes as that 'ima be violent at something' smile crosses her face "Well then let's find out!"

And with that the brick red pegasus zips over to one of the pipes, scrutinizes it for a moment, and then lightly taps it with a hoof. For whatever inexplicable reason that should cause the whole thing to up and burst.

Lydia has little to no time to prepare before, preumably, everybody gets soaked in the goo that was in the tanks!

However, unlike the case with the slime-dripping perversions, the fluid within the tube does not fall.
It quivers, faintly, like a vibrant gelatin, but it does not fall.

Strands of more fluid material seem to be trailing through it, inside, and along its edges, but they are a unstable minority. Fluidity seems to end and begin again largely at random.


Deep within, far deeper than the tank would appear to go, dark silhouettes can be seen.


"The hostages are pretty safe I think. That stuff's kind of a condensed...uh, how do you guys understand it? Oh whatever. It's kinda like mushed together and tampered with time. Don't really know why the noodle-faces have been collecting it, but it makes my ears itch."
The girl wrinkles her nose at the quivering and leaking mass of goo that Sunder has exposed.
"Just scoop it out so we can grab your friends and leave, 'kay?"

Geneva takes a deep breath and reaches into the ooze to try to grab the poor person inside. Hopefully this doesn't freeze her in temporal stasis or something. That would be really bothersome and would require everyone else yanking her free.

Sunder begins busting open the rest of the tubes! "Quite your complaining and lend me a hoof! I can smell a reward for helping out already!"

At least her mind is focused on the right priorities.
