    Taking the little shock as little more than insect bite, Lorem decides to stop the idiocy right here and play dead seriously for once. Muttering up a spell, he points his palm at the thunder mage and unleashes a dispel at him. Hopefully that will help with getting a solid hit on the bastard.

    Casting Dispel Magic on the thunder mage. Since I don't know what spells affect him, just compare the result of this roll with the one with highest caster level (DC = 11 + the spell's caster level) first and go through all spells affecting him from highest to lowest until dispelling every single one of them has failed, or one has been dispelled. Ideally I'll be trying to end the effect of that spell that was in the scroll he cast.

    Seeing that he will not likely get through the doors he has used before, Lorem decides to try different approach. Knowing that the walls are likely reinforced enough to negate any magic he can possibly cast against them, he takes the only exit available to him, trying to circle around to return back to the first arena different way. That is, if the last door gives him the opportunity to do so...

    Sayamorel examines the man and follows him silently. I should probably investigate what is behind the antimagic door, burt for now let's see where this guy is going. She drinks an extract of invisibility to stay more easily hidden. Her senses keep alert to notice things going around her.

    The keyhole doesn't afford a good view of the door, but Sayamorel can assume that the participants are probably seated around a table from the occasional scraping of chair legs. The conversation drones on, and after another statement that he 'should try to get it sooner', resumes ordinary business of little interest.

    Well, it might be interesting to try to figure out what they are trying to get. But odds are that the item is actually able to do something by itself instead of just negating something. I am better off looking elsewhere. With that Sayamorel starts walking carefully back the way she came until she comes back to the doors with the symbols. Hopefully what is behind the antimagic door will be helpful or at least enlightening. She goes over to the door, listenes carefully and assuming nothing wierd is heard she opens it slowly so as to not draw attention so noone inside would notice the door getting opened.

    Trying to see if he can move the sphere, Lorem looks around the hallway for exits other than the one he walked in through. He has to figure out some exit that won't leave him to tender mercies of two rather pissed-off mages, after all.

    The sphere is unusually heavy for something only a few inches across, but Lorem is stilll capable of moving it easily. There seems to be nothing else in the hallway than the circular portal.

    Sayamorel slips in through the door, careful to not make noise. Being well accustomed to her large body makes it easier, but her limbs being invisible means she has to take it slower than normal. A man in losely garbed plain clothing. Either he is not very powerful and important or he simply does not care how he looks. If you don't need to keep up appearances for anyone you can just dress however you like. Lose and comfortable clothes is as good as anything. She moves quietly over to the man, careful not to step on anything that might alert the man and tries to get a better look at what he is doing.

    He's grumbling, opening and closing doors, apparently looking for something. He riffs through papers and dumps folders open on the small desk, his frustration growing. Eventually he slams the folder down on the desk, pushes the chair back sharply, and stands up. Sayamorel narrowly avoids the chair as he strides into the center of the room, pulls a wand from a sheath on his leg, and mutters an incantation. A brief glow bathes the room.

    Taking the sphere with himself, Lorem sighs in frustration and heads to the circular portal. Given that everything else seems to fail, it seems he will have to try it... or to make his way back and simply break the enhancement the mage has put on the doors. It is risky of course, but he really has no other options left, and he is feeling like being stupid at the moment. At times madness is good.

    The man sighs angrily and replaces the wand, drawing another one. As he flicks it, the papers shoot back into folders and rearrange themselves into stacks, flying back into drawers and around the room. Several nearly hit her, but she twists out of the way in time. As the room settles back into a normal state, he exits angrily and vanishes silently.

    Gah, a man is much more likely to be able to help me than a stack of papers, but I guess it does not hurt to check out what he is reading. I should be careful though. Sayamorel waves towards the papers and tries to sense if there is magic there and if so what magic. Afterwards she goes over and tries to read the documents to get a sense of what they might hold.
