"Just ignore the fantastic outfits and concentrate on what you could wear. You're a trainer so you need something to protect you against tall grass." Beatrix states as she strides into the store, glancing at the various clothes for sale for a while until something catches her interest. "What about a pants and skirt combination? That way you're both protected and look a bit different from your ordinary trainer." She let's her hand run through a number of skirts.

"Wait, a skirt? Hold on hold on!" Becca imposes herself between Beatrix and the skirts. "Skirts are so girly, though." She protests with a sour look on her face.

"Okay. What do you want me to do?" It's a bit of a relief to not be talking about all the restrictions on her now. This is much better.

The person behind the counter looks at her with his or her six eyes. "We have that." The voice sadly not giving any indication of what gender it might belong to.
The spider-creature gestures inside the store. "We have everything as you can see." It then gestures with it's other hand and exactly the clothes she wanted just appears there. "But I trust this will be good enough for you."

"So you want to look manly then?" Beatrix asks with an raised eyebrow.

"What? No! That's not what I meant. It's just skirts are... Ugh, I don't know." Fine, I'll just try it." Becca says, floundering a bit. Ugh, why did that bother her?!

They're a rather well known group of weapon manufacturers and sellers back in the Mojave wastes. They are particularly famous for creating beneficial upgrades.

"Oh. Well, I've totally never heard of them," Crissy says with a shrug. "So! What, like, catches your fancy?" she asks perkily, motioning to the Pretty Much Every Scope Imaginable aisle.

Beatrix grabs a couple of skirts that appears to be in the other trainers size and hands them over to Becca. "Here you go. Go and try them, I'll be waiting outside." She needed a pair of new jeans herself.

Becca grabs the skirts, grumbling a little as she goes into the change room. She comes out a bit later wearing a simple blue skirt that reaches just down to her knees. She doesn't have the pants Beatrix suggested under it yet, but on her feet the other trainer will see she's been wearing bright pink socks under her boots. "I dunno about this... What do you think?"

Beatrix who have picked out a few new jeans to try on peers down at Becca's socks. "I think you need some new socks as well. I thought you were worried about looking too girly? You should go with something dark that goes with that skirt."

"They're not girly. They're just pink. And I don't care about the socks. What does the skirt look like?" Becca says with a little scowl. "Does it look stupid or girly or what?"

"It doesn't look girly or stupid." Beatrix partly lies. She wasn't even sure what Becca meant by girly so it wasn't like she could determine that. "It looks perfectly fine to me. But I think you can go for a shorter pair if you're wearing tights underneath."

That seems to reassure Becca a little bit. Beatrix knows what she's talking about, right? "Okay. Do you have the tights?" Assuming that Beatrix hands them to her, she goes to change again. This time she emerges wearing a shorter, dark green skirt and the black tights underneath. Presumably she's nabbed a new shirty and socks too, the former light green and the latter a simple black.

"Yep! They come in varying degrees of light sensitivity, enhancement, zoom level..." Crissy starts rattling off a long list of 'optional extras'.

"Yeah, try these ones." Beatrix hands over a pair of tights before watching Becca enter the dressing room. It felt like playing dress-up with a particularly stubborn doll.

As Becca leaves again Beatrix has picked out yet another pair of jeans and turns to survey her. "Not bad. Now we're really getting somewhere. What about a new t-shirt along with that?"

Becca smooths her hands over her skirt a few times. She's not sure what to do with them without pockets to stuff them in. "Yeah, okay. You got one for me?" A shirt is safe, right? Though Beatrix probably won't want to grab a baggy, probably second hand shirt like Becca's used to. "How do people stand not having pockets in these things?" She complains, crossing her arms over her chest.

"You like pockets? Then what about this shirt?" Beatrix asks, holding up this for Becca. "It comes in different colors too."

Hey, that shirt is actually pretty cool. "Green's good." Becca snatches it from Beatrix and disappears inside the changeroom again. She emerges wearing the new shirt along with the rest of the new clothing. "I like this shirt. I should get another one like this." She says as she rolls up the sleeves a bit.

"Glad you like it, just pick as many as you want. It's your money after all." Not that she had yet figured out of Becca's age had got the money. Must have rich parents. "Oh, by the way. Did you know they actually have pokemon clothes here? It's true, they have for all kinds of species." Clearly Becca should buy a vest to shroomy.

"Pokemon clothes? That's hilarious." Becca says with a giggle. Oh man, she can just imagine it now. "Where are they? Let's go look at them."

"Okay, they are right over here." Beatrix says, leading Becca and Vigil over to the pokemon section. here they can see various clothes which seem to have been tailored-made to fit a wide range of pokemon species.

There are shirts, skirts, pants, jeans in various styles which seem to adorn to human gender and culture but made to fit for pokemons. Beatrix reaches out to grab a small suit. "I could see Alyx in one of these, I think he'd hate it though." She says with a laugh.

"Heehee, I'm sure he would." Which makes it all the more fun! "Let's pick some stuff out for them to try on." Becca lets Shroomy out of his pokeball and the mushroom pokemon looks around at the clothes store. What is this strange place?!

"Sure he won't mind?" Beatrix asks, looking down at the shroomish. She had really no idea what kind of clothes vigil could have. His shape was rather odd.

Becca giggles. "Oh he'll be fine. Right Shroomy?" If she has to suffer trying on clothes, so does he! Shroomy doesn't look so certain, but he has no idea what's going on!

"I wonder if there are any hats..." Beatrix says, looking around. "What about we meet here in like half an hour with Vigil and Shroomy dressed up?"

"Hah, sure." Becca agrees readily. These poor pokemon. Becca may not like the idea of dressing herself, but dressing up her pokemon sounds like some silly fun. "Okay, let's see who can get the best clothes." She challenges before going to search.
