As of the moment we are without lodgings, Mayor Gwen. I believe this tavern does offer rooms? If they have any available, you can find us here. Otherwise we will leave a message here with our current location. Is this acceptable?

Karaki begins to make some notes, it seems like doodling again, and he sips his drink. Listening to the man.

Yes, I can also leave a message with Cosmo if needed. Anything else?

I believe that is all we wanted to ask, Mayor Gwen. Thank you for your words and time.
Ac'tar and his advisor stand, placing the back of their hands to their foreheads again, and then walk backwards a few paces before turning their backs to her and rejoining their fellows.

Your Welcome, Gwen stands as they leave and waits until they rejoin the rest of their group. She sits back down and eats another piece of fudge while she thinks about what just happened.

Iames comes through the portal, and it closes behind him. He goes over to join Aerin just as Cosmo brings out their hot chocolate and muffins.

The advisor opens a portal and the four standard redshirt style men go back through it, followed by the advisor. Ac'tar speaks to Cosmo in a rather arrogant manner, then goes upstairs.

Karaki takes a deep breath in and begins to think, sipping his drink.

The door opens and Aesa steps in, crossing her arms and scowling. Verdandi walks in behind her and joins Iames and Aerin. Aesa gives her the evil eye and haughtily stalks to the bar.

Gwen looks over at Kyrian to see if he's awake or asleep. He's asleep so she motions for Bolt to stay with him and lightly kisses Kyrian on the cheek. She leaves the Tavern.

Hello, Vera. Aerin smiles and offers her a muffin.

Iames takes a sip of his hot chocolate. Why is your sister in such a foul mood?

Verdandi smiles at them both. Because I forced her over here. She really needs to get out of that guild more often. At the bar, Aesa summons a glass of very dark wine.

Maal watches the activities of the strange men with interest, then turns his head to consider Iames, Aerin, and Verdandi. He notices Aesa and pauses, wondering something.

Aerin laughs. We need to get out more often ourselves. She takes a sip of her hot chocolate, then puts her mug down and takes a bite of her muffin.

Iames smiles. I see. He takes the top off his muffin and begins eating the bottom.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi belatedly takes the muffin Aerin offered and begins eating it. Aesa sees the attention she is getting from Maal and ruffles her wings in irritation.

Maal shrugs and looks back to his spellbook.

[Exachix]

Karaki's narrow and he looks over at Maal.

"You saw those 6 didn't you. You watched them."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Karaki 'hmms'.

"What did you think of them? Hostile or Freindly?"

[AmberVael]

It depends on the situation. I think they have a goal, and they will achieve it.
Maal shrugs. Obviously he doesn't really care about that part of them. Something else had caught his interest though.

[Exachix]

Karaki hmms again.

"Ok then."

[AmberVael]

Aesa decides to stare back at Maal, since he was someone new, after all, and he deserved to see how it felt. That, and she was already bored.

Maal turns back to his spellbook, watching Aesa out of the corner of his eyes. He smiles a little when he notices her gaze.

So, what do you two feel like doing today?

Regiji walks down the stairs, a fist sized cobalt blue orb hovering just above and behind him. It doesn't take a simple path through the air, but rather bounces and weaves about as if full of far too much energy for something of its size.

"But it looks better!" the orb whines.

"That may be true, but they didn't ask you to paint their ceiling for them," Regiji responds in an irritated tone. "Besides that, I asked you to keep an eye on the goings on down here."

"But it was so boring!" it moans. "No one was down here except the sleeping dog and the guy with the funny hair!"

"Wonderful, you could have told me exactly how uninteresting they were once I woke up, but now you can't," Regiji snatches the orb out of the air and stuffs it in his pack. "Now shush, people are looking at you weird."

Regiji sighs, then gives his trademark grin.

"Morning everyone! Anything new and exciting happen today?"

Verdandi shrugs and eats her last bite of muffin. Aesa twirls her magic rod, wondering if she should turn Maal into a fish.
