Seren smiles self consciously and sits back down at the table.

So tell me, Seren, what do you do here in Town?

[Seren]

"Truth be told, I don't really do much." She pauses as if remembering something, "I did apply for a job, but then I died, so I'll assume I don't work there. I suppose I should check on that."

[AmberVael]

Maal blinks.
Thats a rather odd way to lose a job.

[Seren]

"Yes, well, it's not something I plan to make a habit of."

[AmberVael]

I don't think anyone would.
Maal shakes his head and smiles at her.

[Seren]

"You'd be surprised."

[AmberVael]

Oh? Should I ask?

[Seren]

"Well, death seems more like a game to some people around here. Some die almost weekly. It's an....interesting...place, I suppose you might say." Seren looks the closest to amused she has since....well...sometime before she died actually.

[AmberVael]

Thats unusual. How can people afford to be like that?

[Dispozition]

*Dis flies in through one of the widows above the bar. He lands somewhat awkwardly in front of the bar and orders a drink after dusting himself off*

[Seren]

"I wouldn't know. I've died just the once, and I can certainly say that it is not an experience that I would ever like to repeat."

[AmberVael]

Maal nods in agreement.
Well I certainly don't plan on dying.

[Seren]

"That's good to hear."

[Dispozition]

*Upon hearing the work death, Dis looks around at the speaker*

"Ah, dying. Not something I'd wish to repeat, although I do converse with Death on a regular basis..."

[Seren]

Seren smiles and nods a slight hello over in Dis's direction.

Apparently the levels of sanity in Town are a bit higher than you estimated, Seren. That makes three of us.
Maal gives her an amused smile.

[Dispozition]

*Dis nods back and goes back to his drink, sighing*

[Seren]

Seren sips her hot chocolate and looks over toward Dis, "Is something wrong?"

[Dispozition]

"Not really...Just thinking about something that I know can't happen."

[AmberVael]

Maal follows her gaze and then suddenly seems to recall something. He stands up instantly.
I'm sorry Seren, but I should have been gone far before now. I hope we meet again.
He gives her a brief, hurried smile as he goes out the door.

[Seren]

Seren smiles as he leaves, "I hope so too."
She turns back to Dis, "I'd almost say it's a motto around here that anything can happen."

"Actually, I should probably be going as well, the night grows late. But if I were you, I wouldn't assume that there is anything that can't happen."

Seren returns her glass to the bar and gives Cosmo a faint smile, which he grudgingly returns, one might even think that he could be growing to like her, if they didn't know better, and heads upstairs.

[Dispozition]

"That it is, but it still won't happen...I'd know better than anyone else."

[Kyrian]

Kyrian comes downstairs and sits at a a table.

Gwen and Bolt walk in, Gwen slides into seat next to Kyrian, putting one hand on his arm.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian looks up at Gwen, and gives a small, sad smile.

Gwen smiles, What happened? Bolt pads around and puts his head in Kyrian's lap.

[Kyrian]

Lillah was taken kidnapped last night. Earin and I went after her, and found her tortured...apparently her torturer took my form and teased her last night. She asked me to leave her alone...

Gwen puts one arm around his shoulder, I'm sorry, does she want Jesion or Bolt to stay with her?
