I've heard of him before. But I haven't met him. And I don't know much about him. She looks down at Alexis. That does explain the ears, though.

Along the Lake

Carth gets up and trots towards, stopping to sit on his haunches a few feet in front of Sophie and Bella. The dog-sized griffin's eyes still look a bit oversized, as is usually the case for young animals.
"Hiya Bella. I'm Carth, but Miss Sophie said that already. Well-come. Will you be staying here?" he asks excitedly, his tufted tail flicking against the ground. He's kind of a big kitten.

[Along the Lake]

"Hello, Carth," Sophie says. "Bella, this is Carth. He's a young griffon. Carth, this is Bella. She just came to our campsite for the first time."

"Not, I'm not going to stay here," Bella says to Carth, "but I might be visiting frequently. I don't know yet." Carth might notice that Bells smells really nice. Like a human, yes, but only the good parts of the human smell. None of the human stink.

Sophie lets the girl and the griffin talk, while Nicholas makes himself comfortable on Bella's shoulders.

"I could...here, let me show you."

Magtok gives one of his best smiles, and attempts to hand Sophie an umbrella, and then snap his fingers, triggering a roll of thunder off in the distance, followed by rain. It starts very soft at first, as rain often does, before pouring down on them. Magtok himself, oddly, doesn't even bother putting his hood on, completely nonchalant about the storm bearing down on his face.

"Well," Sophie says as she holds the umbrella above her head. "Now, can you stop it just as quickly?"

Entrance to GLoG

A gentle knock can be heard, or seen, depending on if anyone is nearby the front gate/door/thing to GLoG. If some passing member decides to investigate they'll see Garn Kubo, the 5'5" Jedi Master in his tan uniform and billowing brown cloak. He requests entrance into the camp and an audience with one of the leaders.

"Oh sure. Here." Kitty takes Annie from Obriane and cradles her inn her arms. "Okay, let's go then." Kitty leads the way outside and starts to move toward the lake. "Most of the buildings are here on this side of the lake. I've been around it lots, though. And the water is perfect for swimming."

"I think we've have swum enough for today though right?" Obriane asks with a faint smile, no matter how much Obriane loved swimming it was quite a different thing doing it here in the middle of GloG with all it's spirits from secluded spots she had swum in before. "But you guys just relax here all day for free?" How was this place even funded?

The room is quite simply a bedroom. There is a queen-sized bed in the middle with a crib at the end, in which Lysandra sleeps. Otherwise it's a standard room, though the bed looks like only one person's slept in it for a while.

A dark red rip in the air opens up above the lake, surrounded by symbols from the standard deck of cards- hearts, diamonds, aces and spades, all in the same shade of dark red. A figure plummets out of the rift, and it closes behind with a crack, like that of thunder. The figure falls, comatose, towards the lake and splashes in.

"Well," Sophie says as she holds the umbrella above her head. "Now, can you stop it just as quickly?"

Magtok smiles proudly, holds up a hand, and opens his mouth to tell Sophie that, yes, absolutely, he can turn the rain off right this very min-

"Err...no. Not exactly, that is. We're going to have to just wait this out, but it should only be maybe...ten, twenty minutes, tops? Around there. Once a raincloud is doing its thing, you've just got to roll with it. But it started exactly when I wanted it to! I got that right!" Magtok pleads, desperate to find some use for himself. GLoG has to need him! He's Magtok, an infinitely valuable Nexus commodity that others would kill to have at their disposal! How could you possibly live and be independent and self-sufficient without him?!

"We'll be glad to accept your help with the weather once you've managed to control it more precisely," she says. "Weather is the kind of thing you need to be careful with."

"But, uh, I'm sure they get money many different ways. I don't know the details, though. But yes, the people they support get to live here for free. When I first came here... I just learned that I was pregnant with Annie. I was scared, and I didn't know what to do. So they took me in and helped me a lot. That's part of the reason I feel like I need to leave, though. Annie's born now, and everything is fine with her. I should be able to take care of myself and my own child."

Andy is walking right in that time. He can't find sleep, becasue a nightmare about an old accident woke him up again. He thought a walk around the lake might help.
As he saw the body falling into the lake, he jumps right into the water. He is a good swimmer due to a doll so he tries to bring the body to the beach.

The figure isn't dead, so doesn't yet count as a 'body'. The figure is, however, a thirteen year old girl with shoulder-length black hair wearing a tattered yellow t-shirt and equally tattered jeans. She's unconscious, and covered in minor cuts and abrasions caused by travelling unprotected through an unstable interdimensional tunnel. The tunnel is also responsible for the state of her clothing.

Oh geez, Obriane hadn't expected such a reply. The first question she asks herself however is if Kitty really could take care of herself and Annie, she understood the need to stand on her own feet but Kitty didn't want to work or anything. She just wanted to wander around and try to live off the land and at least to Obriane that sounded really implausible. She had lived with people that lived by hunting and foraging for years but they were a tribe with a lot of people to take care of the young, Kitty was just one person.

"Maybe... maybe you could like... work with me? I could help you take care of Annie too. You'd have to do your share of the work though." Obriane suggests, realizing just how crazy that sounded. But still, it was an idea.

Well, you can't know. It's not normal that people jsut fall down. After all, Andy is a doctor and will test pulse and if she might have got water in her lungs. Should these first aid options work, he will try to carry her to the infirmary where he can make more checks and can use medecine for the wounds.

She still has a pulse, and there's no water in her lungs. She doesn't resist to being carried to the infirmary, either. None of her wounds are deep, either, though they're caused by magic and will resist normal healing. Supertechnology and magic can heal them normally, though.

Carth moves a little bit closer.
"That's neat. I live here with Balsa Cabin. You smell nice, weird for humans. Are you not all one?" he asks innocently, offering his head for pets. He enjoys attention.

Bella reaches over to pet his head. "It's complex," Bella says, hoping that he won't press the issue since she doesn't really know.

Kitty blinks. That was the very last thing she was expecting to hear. "Oh, wow Obraine. Really? Uh, what sort of things would you want me to do?" She asks, still stunned from the offer.

Well, wounds that can only be healed by magic? So they won't heal over time then, because that's what normal healing does increasing the natural healing. Since Andy got no super technoligie, he won't be able to heal her. Still he will treat the wounds. It's allways good to prevent an infection.
Since the wounds aren't life threating, he can wait until someone with magical healing comes or the girl wakees up.
