Don't know but I think she was expecting something else. He just mentions powers and suddenly they eclipse the whole conversation.

"Yeah, absolutely. Take your time, Mist. I can watch the bar. If it would help, you guys could head off somewhere quieter? No reason to stay here for it." Naku says, before heading back over to Aiden, her quick aside as a matchmaker done.

If you don't like doing it, I'm not going to make you. Callie looks strangely guilty. I only brought it up because I was curious, but I'm not that curious. More bored than curious.

I've spent all my life being preached at about God, and there's deities walking around the streets like it's nothing, and just as likely to trip over a rock as anyone else. Or someone might make a play that changes theirs, which forces yours to change. With a thousand trillion variables acting at any given time, the poker analogy kinda breaks down, doesn't it?
