Elena's nerves subside slightly, and she says to Naku, "Um...It's no problem. I'll wait...Unless you don't want to go..."

"I," Naku has no idea. This was one of those 'dealing with other people' things she had decided she wasn't terribly good at. "I suppose that would be okay." Naku did know, however, that friends were rare things to be cherished. And this would give her a great chance to get to know Elena better.
Assuming, of course, that "Mist? You all right with me taking off for a bit this evening?"

"What brings you here, by the way, Silvia?"

Silvia asks as she looks at a menu as well.

"You fell out of the sky. In my experience, most things that fall out of the sky are crashing or exploding," Leo decides on a pork chop and a stack of cheesy potatoes and broccoli.

Knowing my luck, probably the first one.
She replies, choosing a salmon steak with [insert tasty sauce it was cooked in here] and. cauliflower.

"So...you seem friendly," Leo betrays his limited skill with small talk, "What...um, what is it that's...uh, got you all 'hyped up' on me?"

And then there were these guys. With a minor sigh at the interruption, Naku heads over to the duo, after raising a 'one moment, please' finger at Elena.
"Can I get you two anything?" Naku asks of them, pulling out a small notepad, and gets ready to write notes about what they want.

Leo can't eat yet, I'm sorry to say, as their order hasn't been taken yet. The DFI doesn't have NPC staff. Which might make things take a bit longer, but makes for a fun environment.

Leo is ignorant of the effect some of his mutations have and isn't wearing his helmet, so Naku may be affected by the pheremones and find herself with growing affection and intimacy for the two at the table, as well as a slightly intoxicated feeling.

Elena smiles when Naku agrees to go with her. When Leo and the Sylph walk in, she immediately feels the effects. She shakes her head and, fighting to keep her head clear, says, "'M going to go lay down...If you're ready to go before I'm back, Naku, come and get me, mmkay?" With that, Elena heads up stairs to her room.

And several pages later, Strahd stomps out of the kitchen. As I don't think anyone in the tavern was even existant when the surly chef last shook off the deadtime slime, a reintroduction might be in order- Strahd is a slightly pudgy, perpetually grumpy young man with a stompy, oversized cyborg legs. And seated atop his head is a stained, battered and slightly burnt chef's hat.

In one hand he balances a plate, piled high with crispy homemade fries and a double-decker hamburger with three different kinds of fancy cheeses, skewered through with a toothpick and just the right size for a hungry feline. Depositing it in front of CatTok, he moves on to the next customer.

"Hello shir and welcome to the Dancing Fox Inn. I hear you're intereshted in our dinner menu?"

"Well." Mr. C will give a proper description where to go sice there is no real way in the nexus. "I would suggset Watch a better place to start, just my opinion."

"Alright, I'll start with HALO, and then I'll visit WATCH if things don't work out there," Leo compromises. "I'd best speak with Naku about this before making any plans...In any case, I thank you for the aid, Mr. C. Is there anything I can do to repay your kindness?"

And then he continues on as if nothing had happened. "If you're feeling adventuroush, I alsho have a new dishh I've been working on. It'sh a ground pork and pigsh eyesh pâté sherved on roshemary bread with a shlight drishle of olive oil."

The pheremones are actually more like ant pheremones than mammalian ones, they work through skin contact. But if Naku is immune to emotionally dealies, she's immune!

Unfortunately, I'm not sure if I'd be able to make that trip just yet; things seem to be getting a bit busy around here, so I'd best make sure that I help Naku and Mist as best I can before I go. Is that acceptable?"

So long as it is, Leo will seek out the other operators of the Dancing Fox Inn to ask about work. It seems that Naku's busy with customers, so he'll probably defer to Mist. Upon finding him, he'll apologize for the delay and ask, "Is there anything I can do at present to help?"
