This is an open message to the Iroquois:

When we requested you not settle your newest city off the coast of our own island, you appear to have ignored us. My Trireme now has your colony ship in its sights. We offer you a final chance to begin progress back to Iroquois waters before we consider this an act of aggression towards Brazil. I am certain the rest of the world is not blind to your aggressive expansionism, but we simply wish you not pursue the only land available for my people to expand to.

This is an open response to Brazil We offered to split colonization along the lines you suggested but you refused any discussion on those issues. Now that we have begun expanding ahead of you you claim that we infringe on your space. If you wish to enforce demands on others perhaps you should be open to considering them for yourself. If you use force to enforce demands on us than the world will know you for the aggressors you clearly are. Despite your unreasonableness in this area we are still willing to come to an agreement to avoid war. However simply demanding concessions from us without agreeing to any yourself will not lead to fruitful discussion.

We admire your willingness to suspend your plans. Brazil protests this move on the grounds that a colony on that island in particular would lead to our own nation being surrounded by your cities, and left with fewer options on expansion ourselves. Essentially, the island to the southwest of your settler will always be an unacceptable colony site, as it is far closer to our own homeland than yours.

This makes much more sense to us. While we understand your concerns, again we can not simply give up one of the few islands discovered by our people for colonization without some sort of concession. We are open to suggestions as to what a fair agreement would be for both our peoples.

We have thought over your pronouncement and have another proposal in return if we agree to avoid colonizing the island to your south west you agree to avoid the island to our east. Also if you agree and wish to speed the return of our settler helping us avoid the local barbarian pirates would speed their return. We wish to be clear this is not a part of our deal. If you agree we will withdraw our settler but not untill our galley arives there or you help us return to our waters.

I'm sorry to keep harping on this, but it's absolutely ridiculous how slow this game has been in comparison to any of the others.

I'd recommend switching the turn timer back to a day, then. That's what it's there for, after all. SaruSama controls the game, yes?

My computer has finally utterly topped itself and needed a new hard drive installed. It's not Civ-5 friendly.

I'm going to have to bow out. It's not exactly a suprise but it is dissapointing. How do I set it so that the computer plays in my stead?

I believe you need to log into the website, select your game, and hit the 'Surrender' button. (Or set yourself to permanent vacation mode? Hrm.)

So I'm really sorry everybody, my computer completely died unexpectedly and i had to get a new one. It took a bit to find one i could afford. Anyway I'm back and have reset the timer.

The host either makes the game public (in which case anyone can join) or makes new invite links for the game. Both are done through the GMR page.
