Teral growls at the lightning throwing man as he runs off. "You first." He growls at the shifter and lunges in with his teeth.

Striking the man down, Teral chases after the man, his speed more than enough to catch him before he got very far.

The shifter is downed, and Teral quickly bypasses it to chase its boss, who runs further and whips around to fire a bolt of electricity, only to have it go wide and strike the corner of a building a full two feet from Teral.

Teral charges down the alleyway and leaps onto the man. "I'm going to make you wish you'd never set eyes on me." He snarls as he drags the man down.

"And I'm gonna be a hero for taking out the monster!" the man says before he grabs Teral's arm and sends a powerful shock through his system, more powerful than the bolts earlier (11 Electricity Damage). However, Teral wasn't really concerned about that, the numbing sensation that came with it was worse.

Teral growls at the man. "You won't live long enough." He grins with his bloody teeth. "And just to let you know, I'm a new monster in town." He bites the man and savors the taste of his blood.

The man drops, and Teral feels a tug from his spirit core, the spirit that had lingered over the bald man was fading even as the bald man breathed his last. It reaches out towards Teral, and fades completely before it can make any further motion.

Then Teral remembers he left his trident behind when he transformed.

Teral cleans up the bodies as best he can after stripping them. He cleans himself up and retrieves his trident and heads off on his delivery.

Roll Balance, Climb, Jump, and Tumble

Teral makes a good haul, but it's quite cumbersome, he'd have to either drop it off at his nest first and take to the roofs rather than the alleyways, hide the stash somewhere and come back for it, or run through the main roads to get there on time after that fight.

Teral decides to take his loot back to his next before heading out. No need to lose his hard earned lucre.

At several points, Teral lost some time, but he still makes to the hospice in a good time. He'd just need to find the two recipients soon.

Teral looks around the hospice, kind of recoiling with all the people. He absently pulls on a belt with one hand and looks for nearest important looking person. "I'm looking for Alexander Illiander and Doctor Adams. Do you know where they are? I have a delivery for them."

The man Teral approaches is a mongrelfolk, likely one of the nobles by the look of him. Dark skinned with a slight grey tinge to it, tusk-like fangs, pointed ears, blue eyes, dark brown hair, and a very powerful musculature, and his gaze, turned on Teral, holds a noble bearing that makes him seem a lot stronger than he looks, "Ah, you must be the runner Edro sent, I am Doctor Adams."

"Ah, uh, yes. Sorry I'm so late. I got... waylaid." He pulls the bag around to his front and opens it before blinking. "I don't actually know who's is what."

"Edro usually labels the orders," Dr. Adams says, taking a look in the satchel, "ah, he labeled the bottoms of them this time around," he says, pulling two flasks and a wax paper packet, "Alex should be in the insanity ward two wings that way, last I saw him anyway," he hands Teral five gold pieces, a generous tip for a runner, and a piece of parchment, "a letter for Edro, I have another order for next week," he says then heads off in a hurry to another room, one of the ward rooms.

Teral nods and takes the money. It wasn't bad for a single delivery. If he got a delivery every two days and got tips like this he'd be set, at least while living here. "I'll be sure to tell him." He puts the letter in the bag and heads down towards the insanity ward, looking for someone who matched his imagining of an important doctor.

Teral is stopped before he gets to the insanity ward, only doctors were allowed in.

"I need to make a delivery to Alexander Illiander. Can you get him for me?" Teral asks, slightly exasperated by the whole thing.

[EdroGrimshell]

An attendant, or nurse, it's hard to tell, simply replies with, "He is with a patient at the mome-"

"Let him in already!" a voice shouts from the other side, "if he's who I think he is I'm gonna need what he has on him!"

The nurse falters, before opening the door, "second door on the left," she seems a little annoyed.

Teral pushes past her into the next room. He was already later than he'd wanted to be. And he had things he wanted to do today. He shakes his head to himself and heads to the second door on the left.

Almost the moment Teral opens the door, he freezes, eyes wide and almost unseeing. Next moment, he comes to in a sitting room with a blonde man waving foul smelling stuff under his nose, which is all the more effective with how sensitive Teral's nose was, causing him to sputter and cough, "gave me a scare back there, kid," he says while corking up an opaque vial, it was what had smelled so badly, "must have been a serious shock for you to just shut down like that."

Teral can't recall exactly what had been in the room, but he remembers one thing, the symbol, the same one carved on him by the beast all those years ago, only it was... everywhere, not just a single copy, and not on skin, it was on wood, stone, glass, everywhere but on human skin.

Teral looked around the room wildly. His eyes focus on the doctor and they change, slitting dangerously to focus on him. "Where?" He growls out watching the man intently. "WHERE DID THAT COME FROM?" He yells at the man, disregarding his need to be quiet in a hospice.

"Calm yourself, child," Alexander says, adamantly, "here," he hands Teral a cup filled with a steaming liquid, tea by the smell, sweetened with a little honey, mint, and lemon, "drink, it will help calm you down so we can actually talk some."

Teral can feel it as his eyes change back to normal. The sudden calm he felt was bizzare, considering his emotions just a moment ago. He pushes the tea away. "Tell me where those markings came from." It was almost unnerving to be this in control of himself. Not that he could actually feel unnerved right now.

"One of my patients is fixated on it, after meeting some kind of beast that had it on its back, some kind of snake thing according to him," Alexander replies, "but its gaze has shattered his mind. He just keeps focusing on that symbol."

[Jacior]

"Where did he see the snake beast?" Teral could get used to the calm, but this was really strange for him.

[EdroGrimshell]

Alexander looks at Teral with a raised eyebrow, "it's long gone, killed by a warlock a few years ago. It was found in the forests burned to a crisp. Several mages studied the beast, including Edro. In fact, it was one of his old travelling companions that killed the beast," he says, "it was even cremated and Edro uses small amounts of the ash in some of his more magical medicines. It's actually what you were delivering, it's good for stabilizing the mind and removing taint."

[Jacior]

Teral sits in the chair thinking pensively for a moment. "I need to go talk to Edro." He keeps his eyes on the doctor as he gets up out of the chair. "Tell me now if you need to place another order."

[EdroGrimshell]

"An order of medication for next week, for Roland, he'll know what to make," Alexander replies, "and let him know the medicine for Boris is working very well, he'll be out of the ward by the end of the month."

[Jacior]

"Yes Sir. I will tell him." Teral says and leaves, heading back towards Edro's shop.

Teral begins the trek back.

Choose Roofs, Alleyways, Back Streets, or Main Streets and roll a d100, low is good.

On his way across the roofs, Teral finds something... odd, has latched onto his arm without him noticing until it was already there. It looks like some kind of ooze, dark purple in color, and is wrapped firmly around Teral's bicep. It seems to have some sort of small, black gem on it that makes it look like an armband more than anything. It's slightly cold to the touch, and doesn't move regardless of what Teral does to try and get it off.

It wiggles slightly, then the gem turns, almost like an eye, to look at Teral. A quick second later, it's reshaped and changed color to look like another of Teral's belts and he feels it vibrate lightly like a purring cat, waaarmmm, a sighing, feminine voice says in Teral's head, originating from the band before a soft snoring sound echoes in his head for a moment before fading away.
