"If we can find a med-kit I can patch you up." he offers, leaving the sermon of nurgle out. An eyebrow raises when Logan offers to lead, "And by what right do you claim leadership?" However such discussions come to an end when the Xenos came back into view.

Pleagious shook his arms loose muscles bunched up and flexed a heavy foot smacks into the ground as he propels himself forward an easy smile on his face and a curled fist ready behind him.

Robert just shook his head. That's why Lexi was always the face of the siblings, as he didn't have the sharp tongue or the social quickness to be anywhere near as snappy.

"They are crude beasts, but be careful. Their species has made gains against the Imperium and Rogue Trader dynasties for a reason."

Edit: (To be clear, basically that's my turn, I warn them, and I stand around so Lexi can hide behind me. I don't got jack to do otherwise, so just Defensive Stance for an extra Reaction)

Robert frowned as he watched the melee. The Xenos was attacking with knives, instead of the cybernetic arm blades that they were known for. And seemed to lack any of the crude bionics that they were known for. Clearly this was an unbloodied, rookie Rak'Gol. Sad, it almost would have been interesting to get some of the simplistic bionics as a comparative study to Imperial Bionics. But it did explain how the Imperium captured one, if it was but an untrained runt rather than a marauder. Did they discover some Rak'Gol homeworld?

For now he held position, readying to intercept the Rak'Gol if he made a breakthrough towards the Humans.

Between the well-aimed shotgun blast and the blows from a pair of Astartes, it is ultimately unclear who struck the final blow. What is clear is that the Rak'Gol is quite dead, bloody bits of skull and brain matter splattering the marines and the surrounding deck. The body collapses to the ground, joining its human victims in the pile. The blood is now flowing so freely that the formerly steel-grey floor looks to have been painted red. Khorne is surely pleased.

Now that the fighting is over, the group has a brief chance to look around. This is a three-way intersection, with a path left, right, and back the way you came. It was barricaded more heavily to the right and left than in your direction. To the left, there are few corpses, and almost none beyond the barricade. On the other hand, another xenos corpse is visible a few meters to the right of the barricade: a second Rak'Gol, this one missing its upper right arm, bearing a crude-looking chainsword cybernetic in its place. Blood still oozes from the numerous puncture wounds that have rendered its chest little more than fleshy pulp. It is surrounded by the corpses of at least a dozen more of the ship's men-at-arms. All in all, perhaps twenty men were stationed here.

"Great work, gentlemen," the psyker said, clapping her hands together. Lexi waited until the beast was definitely dead before speaking, though -- no sense in distracting the warriors while they were doing their thing. "Judging by the corpses, the way to the right might lead us to the security checkpoint and the armory. The left might have additional cells. Just a guess, though. I'm basing this strictly on corpse distribution -- the racksmacker might have thrown the corpses around as it killed them. But yeah. Down the right is my suggestion."

Well... now that it was all over, Robert walked forward slowly, just barely keeping ahead of Lexi. When they came across the body that the Shotgun had been looted from (and the bodies the Rak'Gol had been looming over), Robert searched the bodies. Not just for some potentially useful tool (Although he'd definitely take something, even a knife off the Rak'Gol, and giving the other to Lexi, any keys, other such useful objects), but also for markings that might have given him an idea of who these Naval officers were, what vessel or fleet they might have been from, and confirm some of his earlier suspicions.

Presumably armed with a knife now, and handing Lexi one, he looked over at the other Rak'Gol, with it's crude cybernetics. He frown slightly as he studied it. "... clearly they would have used a restraining device, similar to what they did to me..." he surmised, and started towards the Fallen Rak'Gol, finding a sign of how he might have disabled it or removed it seemed highly useful to him at the moment.

Pleagious wipes the blood and bits off his body, and like robert sifts through the bodies looking for any weapon he could use. A chain sword would be ideal, but a mono-knive or a gun would be the next best thing. "Hmm.." He watches Robert approach the other Rak'gol.

Robert frowned as he considered it. He had thought of the Rak'Gol crude, simplistic cybernetics merely as a toy, an interesting study on what the first crude, early cybernetics of man may have looked like. Similarly to how faithful men might view the primitive sun worship as a precursor to the mysticism of modern faiths.

"It is a crude thing. I doubt it would end up close to Imperial Standards. Serviceable perhaps, if you care little for craftsmanship. With proper tools, time, and work space I might elevate this crude item to a true weapon..." he frowned, pondering the project, and if he really wanted to take it on. Weeks perhaps of constant work to make this into an item that he might not be entirely ashamed to call his work. Far more crude and simplistic than the Eldar Technology he was used to dealing with, he doubted it was outside his ability.
Currently sick as a dog and unable to focus properly. Will heal soon.

Logan smiled as the creature died, "Clearly they aren't as deadly as this inferior crew suggest. I concur that we head to the right, The mass of troop would be towards the armoury. However I also suggest we consider returning the other way, if we are to escape or possibly even capture this ship, we will need more men and more cells are a good place to start." watching both ways as the others rooted through the dead, he kept guard, content with the shotgun he had acquired.
