Because stick figures really don't have any shoulders, and because I had no idea what a psicrystal creature looked like, I had to take some artistic liberties. I hope you don't mind. If you want anything changed, just ask.




Now I have a request myself, but it isn't an avatar request. It's a request regarding the manner some people post in this thread.
As of late, I haven't done many requests. One reason for this is, that whenever I take a look at this thread, I see mostly old, reposted requests. Seriously guys, the frequence and quantity some of you repost their requests is unbelievable. I would like to gently remind you that you should wait at least 48 hours before reposting, as is stated in the Original Post.
Then, I've got some tips and tricks for you, to make sure you get these requests of yours done. Firstly, if no one takes your requests, ask yourself the following questions:

- Is my request clear enough? Perhaps you assume that all artists are familiar with you favourite tv-series or video game. Please don't do that. We're from all over the world, and chances are that a few of us won't know what you mean, even if everyone in your house/village/city/country does so. Just describe the character or provide a link to a description or picture. See the OP (under 'Design Hints') to see what you have to include in your description.

- Is my request interesting enough? Most artists draw for their own amusement. They like drawing. If you make a request, make sure that these artists will have fun when drawing it. I don't think many of us would be interested in drawing Joe the Farmer, or another Drizz't clone, or something like that. (Please note: this one is entirely subjective and according to my own experience)

- Is my request polite enough? Perhaps I'm the only one, but I don't like to get a pm reading: "hey, will u make me this avi???". Please show some respect to the ones that are devoting their spare time to your requests.

Then, if still no one answers your request after a repost or two (no more than that!), don't be afraid to pm an artist. You can find a list of active artists in the first post. Many of them will be flattered that you asked them to draw your request (I think).

Hello..

a good friend of mine has made this piece of art representing my character on the online RPG we used to play at toghether.

it's a neutral-good wood-elf...a ranger leading a guild of "guardians of nature" whose goal is to mantain the status quo arguing that every war breeds destructions that harm "mother nature"... and thus they will do wathever is required, to mantain the peace and protect the woods . severe, practical, worldwise, a ruthless and fierce fighter with his sabre and the quarterstaff, in time he has become quite appreciated for his wisdom (learned the hard way)...
he has a drowish and unknown father.... (yes..I know, it doesn't show... in fact when I created the character I was quite unexperienced and limited the "drowish influence" in two locks of white hair that my character hides underneath the bandana, to hide his shame with it)
he is poor, read "detached from material wealth", and this shows in the state of his clothing, since the only pieces of quality are those that he "needs" to do "his thing"...good leather boots, excellent weapons etc. etc.

..since I don't know if I'm writing to help to "visualize" the character or just because I love him so much (yeah...my ID is the name of the character indeed)..I'll just quit the jabbering and get to the point.

would someone be so kind as to create a stick figure version of this character?
I'd be forever grateful, of course, and give due credit ...

After having this as an avatar for a while I was wondering if you could edit it a bit? Could you get rid of the kitten (), lighten the coulours up and add a crown (like Xykon's (floating abouve his head)) and a 69 underlined in a kind of 'Z', and the '69 +'Z'' be in a red coulour. Thanks!
