People usually start in one of the taverns. Like Trog's or the Dancing Fox Inn. You could also start in Inside of Outside. Or Seaside. Up to you, really.

I need to get my dark fae plot into second stage somehow. I'm thinking MERC's new sensor array might pick some up, and someone might also send a distress call to Watch and HALO about them.

From what research I'd done, Mallside seemed like a good area to start my character in--the idea was he like made for the first place he saw that had a large amount of people, but it seems right now far to many of those people are not in fact PCs...I've gotten like 80% nothing since trying to start. I haven't even been able to call the IC Lheticus by his name yet because no one's been around to ask! There was one guy, but he's not posted since the first one he made related to what I was doing...

This is mostly a fault with the Mallside OP- you sent your PC to a store whose player is not active. In the future, feel free to make a note here when you're looking for interaction, especially when you need someone specific.

In that case, what Lheticus is looking for atm is a character who can point him to someone good with inter-dimensional technology. I sort of made a main objective for him to boost the power of his Planar Compass so that it's not overloaded by the sheer number of dimensional connection points in the Nexus--as things are, he's rather stuck as he doesn't want to risk going to a random dimension when he leaves. Mentioned it in his bio, but not many not already playing with him would have seen it I think.

If it wasn't clear, there's a rock in that glade Outside where you and I had that one scene that's similar to the tablet Dipsnig has. If it breaks or something disrupts the area magically, Suscipio would probably be alerted. Feel free to use that in whatever way you can.
