Alright, listen up, everyone - I have an idea that I've been waiting for the OoC thread to come back to reveal. A few years ago, some may remember Watchtower organizing a martial arts tournament. We haven't had one of those in a while, so I'm thinking maybe they ought to hold another one. Only this time, it'd be in cooperation with HALO, as a trial of whether they can work together coherently. It would also have a larger scope than the last one, which was restricted to martial combat, with no magic, tech or powers - my Watchtower character who was in charge of it has Views. But this time more stuff would be allowed.

I wonder what would be with monsters. You know my skorpion would like to take part, but he is a stone creature, much stronger then humans.


On another note, since the new years party seems to come to an stop and the auction is at an end as well, I would ask what people think about another festival. Mainly a day for the god I created here. The party will take place in Riverside/Southside/DMside. Since he is the god of machines there will be a lot of technologie shown. Anyone intressed?

I'm not sure about the IRC. I'm very much in the totall different time Zone so I don't assume anyone online when I can go online. A convention in the nexus is something very hard to do. since such events depend on things you see. I think that's also a reason DC's didn't work out.

Like I said, the event would be, presumably, open to everyone with categories based on power level.

In general, nobody should assume that their character would be barred from entering. At most they might be asked not to use certain abilities.

Slii Arhem the IRC is good. I am just running out of space on chatzilla right now and have to drop some old networks so they all fit on my screen. Some people who cannot use IRC can try an XMPP style chat instead. There is a link to that style in my signature. That one does not connect through IRC programs so it is bad. But it saves messages offline for a day so that is good. It is a chatbox style. People can come online at different times and leave notes.

Well, I know an Alex, an Alec, and Alexandrian here. Don't know an Alek. I also know a Jordan, a Jordin, and a Jordyn. And there's Thomas, Tom, Thom, Toma (sometimes spelled with an h).
Point is, every name has tons of repetition. If the RP has a lot of Alex/c/k 's it's likely coincidence. I remember three Ace's back in the spring, but I haven't seen any of those PC's in ages.

Also Aric, personal info pops up here and there often enough. Earl has mentioned hobbies, plus the tree and teddy bear that inspired PC things, most people drop locations, and I know I've dropped my name at least once, although I might have hidden it a little. Generally as long as you don't get really personal I think you can use your own discretion.

And speaking of not getting personal, my weekend was...yeah. Not feeling my best, so please do not expect a consistent and/or fast rate of posting. Apologies; I'll be back to full gear soon enough.
