We don't actually know that. Granting the Ouken is the only confirmed ability of the King. Based on its ability to pierce Shakonmaku and the 72 barriers, it's defensive powers are apparently immense, so we can reasonably infer the King is pretty durable.

Anything else, though? Pure speculation. We've seen the King for like two panels, and it didn't do anything in them save for opening its eyes. Not much to go with there.

It's pretty close to being anti-information, actually.

So, if the King dies the whole realm is cast in chaos? Gee, never woulda thought.

It's just a fancy way of saying the King is important, but does not give any reason. Besides for the King being a King.

Not a whole lot really happens. Urahara shows up and casually talks about opening a way to the Soul Kings domain, which is interesting since I thought it required a sacrifice of 100,000 souls or whatever to make a key. Poor Aizen, if he had just tried to convince Urahara to join him, he could have gotten to the Soul King a hell of a lot easier. Other then that, Chicken Head!!! Gotta love it :)

Urahara mentioned when he was fighting Aizen that he had seen the Soul King. Knowing him, he probably figured out another way to get up there and saw the Soul King long before Aizen knew about him.

Urahara mentions a ticket. That implies to me that he knows how to contact the Royal Guard directly, rather than how to gain access to the Royal Dimension without an Ouken. We know Aizen has seen the Spirit King as well, so perhaps both he and Urahara were invited to a long time ago. So I think the reason Aizen wanted to create an Ouken is because the only other way into the Royal Dimension is to ask the Royal Guard to let you in, which they're obviously not going to do when you're a crazy monster hellbent on killing the King and usurping his throne.

To be totally honest though, it's kinda hilarious that Ichigo went through all that to get back to Seireitei from the Royal Dimension and yet has to go right back. I wonder if the Royal Guard have already left for Seireitei, though, 'cause that'd mean the Royal Dimension is unguarded. If that was Yhwach's plan all along, using the invasion of Seireitei to lure the Royal Guard away from their station so he could approach the Spirit King without a fight, then the dood is a genius.

The REAL reason Kisuke Urahara showed up is, of course, because he's the real main villain of the series and he's wanting a chance to go to the Soul King.

Hm... makes sense in that context. Shouldn't have assumed that Ouken was less of a "one time ticket" than an official "VIP pass" type of deal.

Didn't Kubo say that he originally intended for Urahara to have Aizen's role in the Story, but then changed his mind because the "Nice Guy" captain who was "Murdered" earlier in the arc turning out to be a supervilain while the mysterious creepy mentor dude was a good, if unethical scientist was a better plot twist than said creepy mentor dude being the bad guy all along?

Despite how objectifying Kubo is of his female cast, I do find it comparably almost progressive that it is two male characters that are fussing over each other's hair. That said, I still can't take that guy seriously because this is all I see whenever he gets face time.

Does choosing combat wear to show off assets seem like an Orihime thing to do, is the first question (note I am deliberately avoiding giving an answer). Realism isn't the issue--quite apart from this being a show about death gods made of spirit particles, Hadrian_Emrys' complaint wasn't that boob windows are physically impossible.

Well, even the most stoic of warriors in the series run around topless, or wear cloth at the most. Literally every character in Bleach fights in their normal clothing, so that point doesn't really stand up.

I just don't think the objectification and fan-service in Bleach is that bad. It certainly exists, but no more-so than virtually every other form of media. It's certainly much less than other manga of similar popularity like Fairy Tail.

Also, Orihime is a moron, so sure.

They probably cleened up whoever was left, and with the sold white outfits it's likl that Orihime and Chad are borrowing cloths from the Arrancar.

I could honestly see the outsit Orihime has now as belonging to Harrible or one of the Tres Bestias(And in Harrible's case, it's wouldn't be anywhere neer as revealing, now would it?)

Well, don't forget that it took Ichigo a long time to get from the Royal Dimension to Seireitei. He said it would take him about twelve hours, if I recall, and there's no time to be hanging around for twelve hours when Yhwach, Haschwalt and Uryu got there in a matter of seconds. Plus this isn't like the time Ichigo went to the Royal Dimension with the Royal Guard, since Kukaku already launched what they came down in.

So, basically, there's no way for Ichigo to get back to the Royal Dimension without taking half a day to do it, yet Urahara knows a way to get him there faster.

Doesn't Ichigo's Bankai make him signifigantly faster?

I mean, the first time he used it, when he went all out and strained his body, Byakuya, who is a trained master of Shunpo(Which logically must require trained senses since it's bursts of Superspeed instead of Teleportation* Couldn't see him.

Ichigo's Bankai must be signifigantly more powerful now, and he should be ale to handle the strain beter.

If he went bankai, he might be able to get their in signifigatnly* less time, though he'd have to leave Orihime and Sado.

And don't say "no air walking in souls society, how will he get up there?" becuase if you think bacn to when Ichigo was having his shinigami powers unlocked after the powers he accidentally stole from Rukia were taken, the first thing the old man did was teach Ichigo how to stand on the air by gathering spirit particles.

Ya know, the same technique that Ishida uses to air walk in soul society/Hueco Mundo, and give himself super speed? Ichigo has known that technique the entire time.

...which actually makes him learning Shunpo so fast a case of fridge brilliance.

*Significantly faster here could mean anything from 6 hours to 30 minutes. though if it's 60 minutes or longer, waitinh for Urahara would be the wiser choice
