    May I suggest you to look at the manga too? I prefer it to the anime and contains more information, and the anime's animation/pacing can be failtastic at times.

    It's one of the weirdest manga/anime I've advertised to people yet, and there are tons. "It's so hilarious and cute! It's about countries and history, old and recent. Anthropomorphized countries, and they're kinda based on national stereotypes. The first strip/episode... huh... it starts in WWI, with Germany finding Italy in a box."

    I've not advertised it a lot.

    I tend to find a lot more haters, who, fortunately, express their hate before I can open my mouth and reveal I like it. So I'm relieved there's someone else who seems to like it so far!

    Oh yeah, that too. I don't know how I forgot to include that in my post, but I also explain that it's very gay, and that I'm not using the word derogatorily.
    You'll see, England is about as hilarious as America, and most scenes with the two of them are small treasures of comedy. (But again, I'm easily amused.)
