Anyone know what happened to dungeon crawl inc.? the last issue was back in august of 2009. Are they gone for good?

Been wondering the same thing my self. I googled several searches relating to DCI, it's creator, and it's sudden demise, and found nothing. The DCI forums are also gone so I can't look there. It's as if the creator vanished without a trace, and no one noticed.

Nah, it's just, like, no one's been able to track him down at all.

So, I'm thinking he's dead myself.

I remember finding that webcomic, thinking it's not that basd, and reading through all the archive in two or three sittings. Then hitting the end and waiting for ages for an update.... that never came. Depressing.
Guess the creator lost interst in it and didn't do anything else after that.

really? this is too bad. I used to read and like that webcomic. Around time I started to reading oots regularly, I think.

It was actually the first webcomic I ever read regularly, years and years ago when it was still updating weekly. To be honest, I'm really doubtful he'll ever finish it at this point.

The DCI forums have been moved to the "Retired Forums" section of Webcomic.net.

The last posts I could find by the author were in August 2009 after the most recent update, and then no further mention of the fate of the comic. Around the time the update frequency started to decline, Kayless (the author) was suffering from a serious attack of Real Life... I guess it finally got the better of him. A pity, as the storyline was nearly finished.
