Re: Trans-Atlantic Carrion Crown (IC)
Scowling more out of concern then real anger at Elian, Kristoph steps up the closed door and pulls out a hitherto unused piece of chalk from his pack. Putting the chalk to the door he first draws a large spiral on the door and intones a prayer out loud. "Not this year, not yet. Lady of Graves, thank you for protecting us in this haunted place. Help us bring peace to Vesorianna and keep her until such time." He then places several signs of warning and the words "danger" and "ghost" in common, elvish, and aquan on both the door and walls around it. The entire process takes about two minutes, and it is clear that he is intentionally being very thorough.
Once he is finished he turns to the rest of the party and says, "Let us continue," and continues along the hallway carefully, his eyes a silver sheen as he peers into the murky darkness.
Spoiler: MechanicsThe chalk writings are meant to be warnings, not necessarily wards. If that is a reasonable thing to place, based on a Knowledge (Religion) check of (1d20+7)[21], great, add some wards.

Gundwolf slips out the door halfway through Kristoph's statement, sliding past the rearmost party members with a speed and agility unexpected from a man with a frame like his.

Re: Trans-Atlantic Carrion Crown (IC)
Ra'hulrhim stows his arrow and backs away. Breathing a sigh of relief, "Let us push forward, if you feel well enough. The more we harry the toxic forces here, the better our chances for a swift bloodless resolution. Where to next?"
