Pathfinder to 3.5
If I wanted to use some pathfinder material in a 3.5 campaign as the DM how would that go? Specifically the Inquisitor and Witch base classes as well as some monsters. The only thing I can think of that would need obvious fixing is the skills but other than that I would not know what to do, so I turn to the playground.

Re: Pathfinder to 3.5
Aside from the skills, you might want to downgrade the hit die.

Re: Pathfinder to 3.5
[death] spells in 3.5 outright kill their target rather than dealing moderate damage.
hide in plain sight has 2 variations rather than 1.
Some core spells got nerfed in pathfinder, but those need a 1-1 comparison.
Cantrips aren't at will in 3.5
You pay for a new familiar with xp if your previous one dies.
and much more little details.

Re: Pathfinder to 3.5
Uhh... I think you'll have to calculate the grapple for the monsters, because CMD and CMB are not things in 3.5.
Definitely not for the Inquisitor, maybe for the Witch. Though, really, many of the increased HD sizes are things that one should probably consider anyway, since there's no good reason, for instance, why Rangers should have the same HD size as Druids when they're the "martial" analogue to them and Paladins at *least* have a d10 HD to the Cleric's d8.
Not that HD size matters that much in the long run as much as a good Con, but...

Re: Pathfinder to 3.5
Well, you'll need to convert any bonuses/penalties to combat manuevers. Which should be simple.
To fit in with 3.5, I agree with the HD downgrade. I do believe the HD upgrade in PF was a good idea, though.
Skills are easy: Just split them up again. Personally, I suggest using the consolidated skills in 3.5 as a houserule.
Many spells are different between 3.5 and PF. Make sure you're using the 3.5 versions where applicable.
[Edit]
Additionally, you will want to give them Concentration as a class skill. Concentration is not a skill in PF.Last edited by Slipperychicken; 2014-04-14 at 04:05 PM.
