Jot 1x1 error of some sort

Since the update, maybe before, but I just started noticing, something has been happening. When using Safari, and entering Giantitp, another tab opens. It is labeled Jot 1*1 pixel (or maybe just Jot 1*1, and here is a link. Anyone know what this could be?

Edit: It happened again. It is labeled Jot 1x1 pixels. Also, the page is blank.

Twitter's using that image to track when you view the Rich's Twitter box on the left panel, most likely. It wouldn't normally open in a new tab and reveal its presence at all.

This is probably related to the embedded Twitter feed, but it shouldn't be doing that and does not do that for me. Have you tried cleaning your cache/deleting all temporary files?

I have now done that. I will tell you if this error happens again. It seems to happen at random intervals.

It just happened again. I just cleared the cache, so would deleting temporary files be the best idea to fix it now?

I wonder if it's because your Safari version is so out of date. Are you on a system capable of handling the new 10.9 Mavericks, and would you consider upgrading (it's free)?
