    They haven't appeared in the story, and in all probability nobody knows which (if any; they could both have been half-orcs) of his parents was an orc. That detail has not been important to the story so far, and we all know the fate of background or setting details that don't become important to the story.

    Id imagine that the Giant wont answer that for the same reason he wont bring up Belkar's parents.

    I'm with Jaxzan--it's entirely irrelevant to the plot and therefore will almost certainly never come up. The only reason we know about Therkla's parents is because of a one-panel joke, after all.

    Thog's parents were ThogsParent and ThogsOtherParent. One of them was a ThogsParentsRace and the other was a ThogsOtherParentsRace.

    CliffportPoliceChiefsParent and CliffportPoliceChiefsOtherParent? They are about as relevant to the story as ThogsParent and ThogsOtherParent.
