If anyone wants a charm from me, I'm not interested in selling for dollars at the moment, but if you have a gem you don't want aside from a ruby I'll trade two charms for one gem.

The Peddler looks down at his items. "Pah. These prices are the prices they're selling for today. Another day, perhaps another price, higher or lower. Buying anything more won't bring you a discount here. Pheh, perhaps another place, perhaps another time, but not here, not today."

The Peddler nods and hands over the items, pausing briefly over the ruby before handing it over.

The Lady shrugs at the loss of the gem to another, and turns back to the peddler.

Very well, the jade, a charm, and a sapphire. Will $60 of this currency suffice?

The Peddler looks at the Lady. "For those three? I believe $65 would be the price today, since you've added on a $30 sapphire..."

He picks up the jade and considers it for a brief moment before picking up the sapphire and charm and handing over the three.

The Lady places the gems and the charm into the pouch and nods her thanks to the Peddler. She looks around at the other customers once more before turning and heading back to The Leaf. Once more the mists swirl playfully around her as she walks through them..

The Lady enters The Leaf and picks up a fresh cup of coffee that was sitting on a nearby table as though awaiting her entrance. She moves towards her chair by the fire and sits, staring thoughtfully into the flames.

Also, it suddenly strikes you that something is odd. It's not that something's arrived, but that something's... disappeared. Ah! You can see clearly now! The fog is gone! ...huh.

The Peddler slowly packs up his wares and stares absentmindedly at the bundle of charms for a short while before returning them to his cart.

April 24th

The fog is gone, as quickly as it came. Still, in the midst of buying and selling charms during the day, the townsfolk found it right to continue lynching one of their own. Perhaps that was good; there were still people getting killed at night. The woman they picked as their target was quiet, but she tried to turn the tide. It did little good. Few people wished to help her out, and she went into hiding. However, once the fog had disappeared, it was only a matter of time before they found her again, and find her they did. She claimed to know things, but by that point no one cared to listen. And so she no longer cared to speak... and now no longer could.

Sorry `bout that. I went on vacation, Zip-Lining and White Water Rafting in West Virginia, and found I was too tired to get back on line at the end of the day.

Hah! A lead that finally didn't lead to a dead end! I was snooping around an old abandoned warehouse on the east side of town when I heard the echoes of voices. I... don't feel safe writing the contents down, and I'm glad I wasn't found out, but I can barely believe what I found. I'll have to investigate further to see if it's really true... Are they really- no, he wouldn't listen to them; it must be a trap or something. Right? I'll have to continue investigating, but I'll have to tread very carefully.

In other news, someone else was found dead this morning, and multiple gunshots were heard last night. When will these killings ever end?

Okay, that was definitely one of the oddest bugs I've come across. The giantitp forums and the giantitp forums alone were down for what appears to be me alone. After talking with some people in QTs, I realized that it probably was not the server messing up, and it was probably just me who couldn't access the forums. I tried my phone, and it was able to connect perfectly fine, but I'd rather use my laptop and figure out what was going on. So I cleared my cache and cookies, and that seems to have worked? ...not sure what happened there.

Anyway, long story short, I had problems accessing the forum, so I'm just going to extend the day for an extra 1.5 hours, which was about the time it took to figure out the scope and fix for the problem. Thanks to BoP for posting for me while I couldn't.

As for the Peddler... If anyone goes to visit the Peddler, his cart is still there, but it is locked, and the Peddler is not out in front selling wares. It would appear that he's not selling anything today? How odd...

Regarding trades of items, that is still allowed. I have removed the charms from players' inventories, but any player who had charms still has them. It was just easier not to keep track of items which don't do anything...
