Local man, now nicknamed Legato Endless, has been singing nonstop for two days straight. Through his singing, he's explained that he can't stop singing for fear that a bomb inside of him will go off and kill everyone around him. Since then, he's become a sort of tourist attraction, with people coming from nearby to hear his song and bet when he'll stop singing. ...and whether the bomb is real. Some skeptics believe this is all a hallucination of his, brought on by recent fits of drinking. Rumor has it that at a local Mooney bar, he drank so much that he believed he was a Beast and started to growl at the other customers! Is it real, or is it all a scam? Honestly I'd just like to live for a bit thanks to my really amusing new role and being a not recruited townsy person, so yeah... am I allowed to just vote for nobody in particular? (Not to say I'm voting for no lynch, I just wish to abstain.)

@Ramsus: Yes, you are allowed to Abstain. Just cross out your vote and tell me that you're abstaining, and it will be noted in the vote tally. An abstention counts as having voted for the day (you voted, but then you crossed it out), but it neither counts for a specific person or for a No Lynch (Executioner decision). However, if no one reaches the required minimum of 3 votes, it would still be an Executioner decision.


Some people appear to be confused. In my past games, there has been a role and power called a Public Seer (under the category of Seer). This power targets a player and reveals their alignment and/or power in the narration. As with all other Seers, there is a possibility that it is a Fool. As with all other powers, it is a possibility for an item. To avoid confusion, all of these instances will be represented in The Daily Grind, the town newspaper, and the claims themselves will be in bold. I will not reveal the specifics of who did what and how, nor will I address the verity/falsity of the claims. As with any Seer claim, it is your decision whether to believe it, and it is your decision to vote as you will.

I suppose it's possible that the public seer was like the Boy Who Cried Wolf from the first Careless. He wasn't always accurate.

Based on the narration, here's what happened. There's a public fool who scanned me. As I am not part of the moony clan, they at least should know this isn't accurate even if the beast claim goes untested. Someone else then used an item on Duck, or he was scanned by the real public seer. I know it could be an item, because I got one last night like it from the store. Though I didn't get a chance to use it, having forgotten about ky night actions this time coming out of the long weekend.

That's terrible reasoning. With new roles coming in all the time, there are constantly being Mooneys and Shiners added who are not in contact with other Mooneys or Shiners. There's also all the Mooney and Shiner roles from the start of the game. None of them began connected, and they don't have a way to get connected, either. Until now, there has been no known method of private communication.

Also? As you said, there's a recruitment mechanic. You could easily have been recruited since you claimed town.
