I've come bearing a wee bit of good news for several folks, methinks! KINDER shall be resurrected tomorrow with the awesome Alarra's blessing!

I'd like to determine who is still interested in the thread for plot reasons. I figure that I might as well restart the proceedings with a bang, and instead of being intentionally enigmatic, I'll at least hint at what the setting of the plot I have in mind was inspired by right here and right now (actually, I was introduced to that rail shooter by this excellent video of Ross's Game Dungeon series, but the video is far too long for a mere hint). Suffice it to say, there will be no scarcity of sudden undead clowns (among other ghoulish, carnival-themed abominations, of course).

If you're still interested/are now interested in KINDER, please pm me or post here just to give me a heads up that you want in on it. If you would like for your char to be kidnapped/rekidnapped onscreen before our deeply disturbing outing occurs, please inform me of that as well and we'll work something out.

Also, I'll post for the Hunting Trip scene in Outside tomorrow, Beans. I was out for the past couple of days, and I returned from my expeditions late and listless, unfortunately. Sorry 'bout that!

Kirk's furniture is pretty low on the list of Dipsnig's concerns, yes. Besides, the scene's in the Inside office and I doubt Kirk would donate his mirror to eldrith rituals anyway.

Also, it looks like VIGIL's cunning recruitment plant is hampered by lack of people who want to go and bother potential recruits...

Since I do already have a VIGIL character, I could do it for everyone else who wants to be recruited. However, this won't work for my own character I want recruited. My own character recruiting my other own character is just silly, and I don't like the disgusting feeling of self-roleplaying.


So, Rotting Baron, if you want, I can have my character recruit yours that you want recruited. Just tell me the details, and I'll do it.

Still doesn't answer how my other character will be recruited. Does nobody have a character who would say "Hey, VIGIL is a great place, you should go to it" to a random person they just met?

The purpose of this post is to inform players of what KINDER is.

KINDER is an organization whose members are exclusively kidnapped individuals. These individuals were handpicked by Clarissa to eradicate the vast majority of gods in existence (or so Clarissa claims). Oddly, Clarissa does not select potential members on the basis of how strong they currently are but by how interesting/useful potential members could eventually be to her. These individuals then would be trained. At least temporarily, Clarissa's daughter Nicole has replaced Clarissa as the leader of KINDER (nobody knows why yet).

I'll be (hopefully) running a number of plots that will be open only to members of this organization. I'd like for players who are interested in this org to really take ownership of it. If you want to run a KINDER related plot in the thread or describe a room or structure go for it. There's really no need to ask for my permission to do so 'cause that'd be kinda silly.

If you want your char to be a member of this org, simply declare that you wish this and your char will be kidnapped either onscreen or offspring as per your wish. If you would prefer that your char be kidnapped offscreen or onscreen at a later date, just post for your char in the thread.

I'm building my plots specifically for mid to low power level chars currently. While a high powered char can definitely join the org, you'll probably have much more fun playing a mid to low powered char.
