AMEN XLVII: Who's the Leader, Again?

"Test it. It migth be intestting in the future." he says, watchin the man installing the new device.

"Anything else your currently working on?"

Main Room

The man takes a seat as he got the Form back and reads through it.

"Yeah, things have been slow around here. I hope to get things going again, just to show the others we are still alive." He comments Filii's words. The he looks over the forma gain.
" K.I.N.D.E.R.? I never heared of that. What's it supposed to mean and what are they doing?"

Main Room

Filii smiles. Not many have heard of it, as far as he knows.
Kidnapped Individuals Now Dastardly Enemies of Righteousness. Basically, evil people kidnapped other people who were already evil or who's power could be used for their intent. I was kidnapped, but I put up quite the fight against their leader. Their leader was named Clarissa, and said something about being from AMEN. The goal, if I remember, was to kill the gods themselves. However, the group fell apart when the leader disappeared from K.I.N.D.E.R. Now that I think about it, is she still here in AMEN?

Main Room

"Clarissa? Yeah I know her. Well at least she was doing something." Zefir says looking up from the paper.
"No she isn't. She got into an argument with the last leader. One of her kids might be around somewhere, but I haven't seen anyone around. If you put up quite the fight against her, does that mean you got a problem with her?"

Main Room

Filii smiles at the thought.
You could think of it that way. See, the whole point of KINDER was Kidnapped Individuals, so I was kidnapped by her, but I didn't go easily. She got me there by basically shoving me through a portal that dropped me in her base. Also, you said last leader. Does that mean your leader has changed since then? I didn't think it was that recently that I was in KINDER.

"Test it. It might be interesting in the future." he says, watching the man installing the new device.

"Just general maintenance at the moment, Mister Zefir. With the damage to the cloning tanks, folks are a might paranoid about things that might cause them harm. Hopefully they get fixed up soon."

Gear takes a pen from his pocket and writes on the bench to test the speed compared to cars.

"I see." Zefir says with a nod. "I guess the drill can hold some heat? If not try to make sure it can."
Zefir then takes a walk around the amchine.
"I also got another thing you might do for me. You could work for a second vehicle for me. In this case a bike. I leave you the details later, but it should be able to drive underwater and fly over a short distance. Can you do something like that?"


Main Room

"I'm not sure how long KINDER is ago for you, but yes we got a few changes in leadership. A result of a big event . The one I mean was the previouse leader, but he appears to be away for some time now. Now I have to get things going again." he says.
"How well are you known to the other organizations?"

Main Room

Filii pauses for a moment to think. I have never visited other organizations, and they do not know me as far as I know. Anything I may have done to catch their attention is done in disguise, so even if they did see me doing something that would catch their attention, they probably wouldn't recognize me in this suit. Filii's suit briefly turns into the clothes a bartender might wear, making him look completely different, then it changes back into a suit.

"I see." Zefir says with a nod. "I guess the drill can hold some heat? If not try to make sure it can."
Zefir then takes a walk around the machine.
"I also got another thing you might do for me. You could work for a second vehicle for me. In this case a bike. I leave you the details later, but it should be able to drive underwater and fly over a short distance. Can you do something like that?"

"It can hold heat for a bit, Mister Zefir. As for the bike, you'll have to get me a bit of time. Making special new machines means I need to go looking through the books for the plans. I'm no genius, I work off what other people come up with."

Gears makes another note to himself about those wanted features.

"I'm not in a hurry right now. I need to gather something somewhere I won't need that bike. Just keep it in mind" Zefir says. Then he heads for leavin, but turns around.
"Do you have soemthing like a hedge clippers here? just better?"

Main Room

"That's good." the man replies. "It might come handy for us in the future. Anything else you would like to add?"

Main Room

Nothing else as important. I can do this. His suit once again transforms, this time into armor, and his cane transforms to a sword then a quarterstaff. He then changes back to a suit and cane. I'm up for any kind of work I am able to do, since that's what life has been like as a freelancer.

"I'm not in a hurry right now. I need to gather something somewhere I won't need that bike. Just keep it in mind" Zefir says. Then he heads for leavin, but turns around.
"Do you have something like a hedge clippers here? just better?"

"Sorry Mister Zefir. Not much call for giant scissors, but I could look in the books for something."

Gears shrugs at Zefir's question. He may be a tech guy, but he's not that much compare to a lot of other people.

"Don't mind." Zefir replies. "I find something on the way."
"Ok , I should head off now. I come back after I solved the problem I'm worjking on."

Main Room

He nods. "That's good. Sadly rigth now we leak members. If we do something open they likly overrun us. There are two options rigth now. First we need informations about the Other ORgs namly MERC and Vigil, next we need to get the members back working. Any of this sounds like you can help out?"

Filii pauses to think, then smiles. MERC I could do. A freelancer would fit right in there, wouldn't they... Vigil may be a little more trouble if they question my motives for joining, but I could probably get in with the right attire. Filii pauses for another moment. Spying could be a good line of work for me. I never thought about that before. I can almost definitely infiltrate MERC, and maybe Vigil. What kind of information do you need?

"Don't mind." Zefir replies. "I find something on the way."
"Ok , I should head off now. I come back after I solved the problem I'm working on."

Gears waves goodbye and starts getting to work.

Main Room

El Cuervo hops its way into the main room, after having spend some time repairing its wings which were set on fire during the incident. It pauses at seeing someone new.

"Who...is this? Someone new."

[Zefir]

Engineering bay ---> Preparing

Zefir will likly take a while too prepare and the Main room scene should happen in this time, too.

Main Room

"Just lie to them givve them the standart do good reason for joining." The man comments. "What I want to know it what they know about us, but also what activities are they doing right now. If we know where they keep an eye open, we will be able to find spots woth and save to act."
Then El curvo comes in, not that it is a bad moment at all.
"Yeah he is a new member. This is the start to bring AMEN back."

Main Room

Filii tips his hat to El Cuervo. Bringing back AMEN. That sounds fun. And, unless there is anything else I need to know, I shall be off. Off to find spots open for us to swoop in and do something... that did not sound as dramatic as it did in my head. Anyway, I'll see you later. Filii starts to back towards the door out, but pauses to see if there is anything else for him to know.

El Cuervo tilts its head, which is somewhat impressive with the large metal lower jaw on its face. It hops closer to Zefir.

"That is....a good thing. So do....we wait for....orders?"

[Zefir]

Main Room

He nods to Filii. "Remember, for them your not related to AMEN at all. Use a disguise at best."
Then he turns to El Curvo.
"No, I'm taking things right now. The candypire seems to be to busy right now. I may have something for you. Go check the Inns and taverns for potenial members. Is this something you could do?"

Main Room to exit

Filii nods, then turns on his heel. He walks out, his suit continuously changing until he finds something good to infiltrate the orgs with.

El Cuervo nods.

"I can...best start with.....Fox. Less likely....to get hurt."

El Cuervo opens its wings, testing to see if they still work.

"What will...you do here...in meanwhile?"

[Zefir]

Main Room

"Me?" He asks, wondering why El Curvo asks.
"Other then the administration I try to fix the damage done recently. Why do you ask?"

Main Room

"Because I....wanted to know. That.....was why....I asked."

El Cuervo having been satisfied with his wings, starts flying towards the main entrance.

Main Room

Zefir looks after El Cuervo as he leaves. He is a strange guy and it's best to keep an eye on him.
After he is gone Zefir heads to a new room, taking a few henchman with him. He orders them to make an office out of the room and then heads off to prepare for his visit at atlantis.

[Teleport To Atlantis]

After gathering his goods, Zefir heads for the telporter E mentioned. Hopefully this plant invasion won't be as bas as it sounds.

Waiting at the teleport room is Gears and the prepared drill machine. Looks like the hallways were enlarged to let it get in this room.

"Ready to go, Mister Zefir? I've got your machine ready to go."

[Zefir]

[Teleport To Atlantis]

Zefir appears a bit suprised. He didn't thought that the drill is ready so soon.

"Wow." he says. "Good work."

He will head for the machine looking at the features of it.

"So is there an operator's guide or are the functions rather simple?"

"Functions are fairly simple, Mister Zefir. I put labels on the controls, so you shouldn't have issues driving it."

Gears nods at Zefir.

[Zefir]

Zefir nods back.

"Ok." he says. "Let's see howit works out."

With that he tries to get into the drill or get the key if he needs that.

Its a simple hatch located on the back of the drill that provides entrance and exit to the drill. If Zefir wants, he can lock the hatch behind him. The controls are somewhat like a car's, but with some buttons that can start the drill and the other devices that Zefir asked for, and each button is labeled clearly.

[Booming Over AMEN's PA System - Potentially audible in every nook and cranny of AMEN proper.]

After what may very well feel like an eternity to some, AMEN's dusty speakers crackle to life once again. They deliver a message to whoever (or whatever) still stalks through AMEN's unhallowed halls and breathes her tainted air.

"All surviving AMENites, report to the War Room. I repeat, all surviving AMENites, report to the War Room. I, Nicole Smith, am wresting control of this organization from the grimy mitts of your effeminate and ineffective leader."

"No longer shall we lie humiliated and all but forgotten in the shadows of this dank and dismal sepulcher! We shall sweep across the Nexus like fire through a forest, consuming all who stand in our path! Make no mistake, friends, this day shall be remembered as one of the darkest in the history of the Nexus, for today, AMEN is reborn."
