Brotherhood of the Loathed, Ostracised, Oppressed and Damned

A massive castle perched atop a rock floating in a sea of nothingness is the base of operations for BLOOD. The castle consists of a tall curtain wall surrounding a central keep, with a stout gatehouse providing entry. The curtain wall and the gatehouse appear to have been grown, seamlessly, from black basalt, whilst the keep in the centre has been constructed block by block of dark grey granite. Ever mindful of security, whoever built the keep built it so the entrance to the keep is on the opposite side of the castle to the gatehouse. Lighting is provided by a flock of undead, glowing fairies, wandering aimlessly around the demiplane.

All members have a small jasper ring that enables them to alert the nearest BLOOD Brother that help is needed once per day.

Access: A number of portals dotted around the Nexus grant access to the base, most lead to a series of huts on the rock. Teleporting to anywhere in the base or the rock it sits upon, inflicts a small dose of nausea and disorientation.

Rooms: Every member has a room. Each room is identical, with a double bed and a large wardrobe, an en-suite bathroom and five two-metre-cubed soundproofed cells, for storage of food, prisoners, or treasure dependent on the member. Other furniture can be added, should the member so wish.

Main Hall: A large room for general meetings, with several large tables and many dining chairs. There’s a raised stage for speakers to stand on, or public executions, trials, or anything else one may want an audience for.

Laboratories: There are located under the fortress, inside the floating rock itself. The rooms have been set aside for Magical or Scientific experimentations. Basic instruments are provided, these rooms are available for all members.

Workshops: There are also located in the same area as the Laboratories, these rooms or caverns are sound proofed for the protection of others. Construction, engineering and even surgery occur in this area, this area is accessible to all members.

Chapel: Located far from the rooms, this chamber has several rows of pews, an altar and a enchanted stained glass window. The altar is magical; if a holy symbol of any kind is placed upon it, the room is dedicated to that deity for as long as the symbol remains upon the altar. The window is blank, but when the room is in use it shows an image appropriate to the deity in question.

Dungeons: Several large, dank chambers containing a variety of torture equipment. There are many dark oubliettes for storing prisoners nearby; this area is intended for enemies of the entire organisation, rather than personal projects which should instead take place in the member’s rooms or possibly a laboratory. These rooms are heavily sound proofed. These are located beneath the laboratories.

Recreation Rooms: Containing a swimming pool, several games consoles, and other things for rest and relaxation.

Library: This large chamber contains many books on magic, science, technology, biology, history, tactics, and many other subjects. Many of the books on magic specialise on necromancy and other dark arts.

Armoury/forge: Filled with swords, halberds, maces and other antique weaponry, plus a lot of chainmail. Anything more unusual has to be supplied by the individual members. The room contains an out of order forge and supplies for crafting them.

1. You can damage the building as you see fit, I have more than enough resources to fix what ever you can inflict upon it. However kindly keep your destructive tendencies away from the main hall as it has taken me a very long time to get this chair right. Please refrain from destroying the laboratories for similar reasons. (If you do want to run a plot in which BLOOD gets destroyed, though, feel free to run your idea through OoC to see if other people like it and are willing to roleplay it out!)
2. Please try and keep posts longer than one or two lines of speech. Description is appreciated. One-or-two-liners that don't do much are OK once in a while - but not regularly.
3. If you want random smashy hahalulN00BzFun, here's not the place. Anything spammy, random, or just plain annoying, can go! Of course, if your silliness is in moderation and well-roleplayed, and considerate of other players, then welcome in.
4. Romance/Fanservice/Secks/WOOHOO!/Whateveryawannacallit is acceptable here, but remember to curtain once it goes past the snuggling stage, and be aware that there may be IC repercussions for dropping the curtain whenever you're online.
5. Attempting harm in anyway on a fellow member is forbidden, punishment is dealt with by the victim, in keeping with the previous rules. If the victim is...unavailable the member is stripped off the organisation’s protection and exiled.

A werewolf approaches the castle, using it's hybrid form to approach, and shifting back to human form, revealing it's identity as Therlynn Saxon.

Outside

To get outside, one has to use a portal, but there's many hidden across the Nexus and finding one, for somebody who truly needs to find one, is quite easy. Especially as Weird William has one in his bar.

A shrivelled corpse flies out to greet her, with ancient purple flesh drawn tight over old bones. The undead creature is wearing loose robes with bronze scales sewn onto them; the scales mimic those of a dragon. The Dragon Priest is wearing a white bone mask with a triskele carved into its forehead. "Welcome, traveller. I am Nivahriim, the founder of BLOOD. I assume you are here to join?" The voice is faint and rattles in the ancient draugr's chest cavity.

Therlynn shakes her head and says, "Not today. But, I am a member of this community, as you no doubt saw. But, I quite like my job at HALO. And so, I'm just here to say this: I don't care if you go after the Silver Knights, or retaliate against hunters in whatever way you see fit.

But organizations like this tend to end up growing more and more extreme, until they want to turn every human, and kill everyone like us that doesn't agree with them. And so, while I don't care if you hurt the people coming after us, or turn people who are willing, the moment you harm an innocent, I will come down on you all like a ton of bricks."

Outside- First Visitor

"I want neither to go after these Silver Knights, nor to retaliate against hunters. I want to protect those that are shunned- undead, like me, or lycanthropes, like you, or anyone and anything else, and offer them a safe refuge where the hunters cannot reach and they can have a moment of peace. Of course, if a Brother- or Sister- is attacked, I provide them with a ring that enables them to call for help. Any help they receive is entirely voluntary, however. It is not my intention to harm any innocents, though as this is a safe refuge for ALL I cannot say everyone that chooses to shelter here will intend the same. If the Silver Knights lose the war, and the vampires and werewolves start doing as you suggest, they will be welcome here, with the same restrictions as the vampires and werewolves did." Nivahriim explains it all quite patiently, though as it's a sanctuary he doesn't actually want any fighting to occur at the castle.

At this point, Therlynn smiles to the old Draugr, and says, "I'm glad. Then you won't have anything to fear from me, and, if I can help it, HALO as well. Anything else you want to discuss?"

First Visitor

"You are the one who sought me out, not the other way around. I would like your name, however, but that is all, unless you have further questions of me, my purpose or my home." The dragon priest tilts his head to one side, altering the angle of his mask.

Therlynn shrugs, and says, "My name is Therlynn Saxon, and that is all. Hopefully, I won't need to see you again." With that, she turns, and begins jogging towards the exit, shifting as she does so until she's running on all fours as a werewolf.

Outside
A teensy, pale pixie flitters through a portal on the clearing, looking around with blood-red eyes. Her skin tone is ghostly white and sunken, what with being undead and all. She wears a black robe and a black beanie, and holds a pencil-sized staff with a dark black orb atop it.

When she spots the undead priest, she puts on her biggest grin and flies over to him. Uh, hi? Is this the site for the "Brotherhood of the... acronym I don't remember? BLOOD?

[NEAR ONE OF THE PORTALS]

The Path has a strange but convenient tendency to drop Shame off right where he wants or needs to be. Having parted from his new friend for a while, he took up the Path to try and get to Inside, hoping to acquire some of the scrap metal said to be available for cheap in a junkyard there. Instead, the ever-changing pocket dimension dropped him off in front of a peculiar portal, which led him to a small group of huts outside the castle stronghold of BLOOD.

Of course, he has no idea what this place is when he emerges. Predictably enough, his first reaction is to look around and wonder aloud, "Where am I...? Is this still the Path, or...?"

Second Visitor- Outside

"Indeed it is, small one. I am Nivahriim, founder of the Brotherhood of the Loathed, Ostracised, Oppressed and Damned. Do you wish to join?" The dragon priest examines the vampixie closely, though without removing his bone mask.

Third Visitor- Huts

"Welcome to the Brotherhood of the Loathed, Ostracised, Oppressed and Damned. I am Nivahriim, the founder. I take it you did not intend to find your way here?" The dragon priest is hovering a foot above the floor, his legs not moving even as he drifts closer to Shame.

Yeah, yeah, I do. I don't know a whole lot about it, but from what I've gleaned it seems like this seems like the kind of organization I would like to be in and contribute to.

She bats her eyelashes and smiles upwards at the dragon.

Entrance Portal

From an entrance portal comes a young woman. She wears jeans, sneakers, a red tube top, and a denim jacket. She has holes in the knees of her jeans and the elbows of her jacket. Her skin is a bit pale, her eyes are pure white, devoid of pupils even, and her short hair kind of resembles the fine strands of fiber optic cables. Her knuckles are heavily scarred.

Krystal takes a few steps away from the portal and looks around, taking in the sight of the place. She had heard about it opening, and she wanted to help.

Second Visitor- Outside

Not a dragon- a dragon priest.

"For now, at least, we are merely offering shelter to all who require it. There is little to contribute to, though you are but the first to wish to join, so that shall likely change, and soon." Nivahriim hands the vampixie one of the forms to join the organisation.

The pixie will thank the priest and plop down to fill out the form.

Entrance Portal- Fourth Visitor

A dragon priest with dessicated purple flesh pulled taut over his bones wearing purple robes sewn with bronze scales floats over to the pale-skinned mutant, his feet not touching the floor. Over his face is a white bone mask, completely featureless besides a triskele carved into the forehead. "Welcome. I am Nivahriim, the founder of the Brotherhood of the Loathed, Ostracised, Oppressed and Damned. Are you here to join?" His voice is quite faint and weak.

Outside- First Member

"Welcome, Mustardseed, into the ranks of BLOOD. I shall show you around." The dragon priest floats off to do just that, starting with the rooms so she can claim one for herself.

"We offer sanctuary and a place to rest without having to worry about hunters baying for blood. We are not, however, self-sufficient. If you wish to join, please fill this in. There are only two questions; we turn nobody away unless they break the rule." There's really only one IC rule. The dragon priest will hand Krystal one of the membership leaflets to fill in.

Nivahriim will give Krystal a tour of the upper parts of the keep, leaving out the dungeons and describing the cells as 'storage'. She also can pick any room she likes, besides the one that Mustardseed has already claimed for herself.

Inside The Keep- First Member

"Someone else has just arrived. I will bring them to you shortly." With that, the dragon priest hovers to a window, squeezes himself through and floats down to the ground.

The Tour- Second Member

"There are several people around, yes. A werewolf has warned me that if this organisation becomes too extreme, HALO will hit my like a tonne of bricks. A vampiric pixie has already joined, and a three-armed man awaits by the portals. The pixie would like companionship, so I shall introduce you, I think." The draugr will hover off to Mustardseed's room, motioning for Krystal to follow him.

I think I'd have to agree with the werewolf, I guess. A sanctuary should stay that way, really.

Of course, if a war happened, Krystal would probably join it.

Well, that's up to you. If Mustardseed wants to invite Krystal in, sure, but as they've both just moved in the rooms are pretty basic. The recreation rooms somewhere would probably be better.

Mustardseed does indeed notice, and her eyes widen. She wants to be polite, though, so she doesn't say anything, merely shaking Krystal's hand..
Hiii! Nice to meet you, I'm Mustardseed! She seems energetic and happy.

Speaking of scars, Krystal may notice that when they shake hands, the pixie's robes fall back and reveal cuts up and down her wrists. There are also long, light strokes on both cheeks of her pale face.
