Somehow, Krystal's cheeks redden a bit as she realizes her mistake.

Wanna know where mine come from?

In an effort to diffuse the situation somewhat, Krystal decides to show off a bit. She bring up her right hand and quickly balls it into a fist. As she does, four small crystals slide out of her knuckles. They each end in a sharp point, and extend to about four inches in length.

The shy pixie flinches, shutting her eyes tightly for a moment, then opening them with a frown. She attempts a small smile, wanting to appear friendly to her new friend.

Er... okay. Is that why you joined BLOOD? Are you like Wolverine?

Krystal gives a smirk, remembering when she found out that her whole reality was known to somebody else in the form of comics.

She retracts the crystals and gives a slight shug. Sort of. I know what it's like to be hated cause of what you are. Went through that a lot back home.

As for my abilities, I can heal, though not as well as him. Hence the scars. And my crystals...well, I'm actually extending my bones. Which are crystal. So, they can pop out of any joint. And I can even remove them when they get long enough.

Mustardseed grins. Yeah. I mostly work with plants, because pst animals are too focused on eating me to be magicked. But plants are amazing. I can do so much with them. Medicine, animation, plain growing... you name it!

We-e-ell, yeah. When I was younger, no-one liked me because I was... undead, so I mostly sat at home and read books. My grandfather, he was a biologist, he wrote e a lot of books on the subject. My dad wanted me to play sports but plants interested me a lot more. She shrugs, and smiles, blushing at having revealed so much of her past to a person she barely knows.

I specialize in cactuses. Cacti? Cacti. Mostly because they help in self-defense against vampire-haters.

Third Visitor- Huts

"Welcome to the Brotherhood of the Loathed, Ostracised, Oppressed and Damned. I am Nivahriim, the founder. I take it you did not intend to find your way here?" The dragon priest is hovering a foot above the floor, his legs not moving even as he drifts closer to Shame.

Shame flinches slightly when a fearsome-looking individual approaches and introduces himself, stating the full name of his current location. Once he recovers from his surprise, he answers, "I, uh...I'm not really sure. I mean, I wasn't looking for this place in particular, but I was trying to get some place where I could build something...Before I get myself into trouble, what exactly is the purpose of this place? I've never seen anything like it..."

Carriage!

A rather fine one, actually, carved out of dark wood into shapes of roosting crows and ravens, with gilded eyes and beaks and feathers detailed in red enamel. It rolls up the front path, stopping just short of the gates.

Mustardseed & Krystal's Room

After joining, the girls were given jasper rings that they can use to detect a portal to BLOOD, and once a day call for support from nearby members. The latter feature can only be used once a day, however. It also lets them know when another member is calling for help, where they are, and who they are. Mustardseed's is appropriately sized, of course.

Third Visitor- Huts

"This is a place of sanctuary, for all those that need it due to oppression or bigotry directed towards them. It is a place of peace, though not self-sustaining for mortal creatures." Meaning that most people have to leave eventually, if only to go gather food and supplies.

Fifth Visitor- Carriage

A purple-skinned withered corpse floats down from the wall, wearing deep purple robes sewn with bronze scales and a featureless bone mask with a triskele carved into the forehead. Nivahriim waits until the carriage opens and its occupant leaves before announcing himself, though.

Well, let's see...I'm a mutant, for one thing. Which means I'm not actually a human. My DNA is different. Hence the healing and the crystal bones. I'm 20 years old, but my powers didn't show until I was 12.

Um...Been here in Nexus for a couple years. Definitely prefer it here, because I don't have to worry about people attacking me for being me.

Um... She shrugs. I don't know. What else ya wanna know?

The vampixie has to think for a moment before answering. About a month. I made a friend, but we got into a fight at this tavern, and now there's a group hunting down vampires, so I came here.

Mustard pouts, sticking out her lower lip. There was a guy named Shoyler who hated the undead and tried to force us to become alive again, or else he'd kill us. This dumb girl named Alysha, with a giant key, wanted to do it, but a smarter (and prettier) girl named Noelle said no. Then Shoyler called Noelle a whore and so we had to fight him.

The pixie steams up as she says this, talking faster and faster, though she doesn't seem to realize it.

I've met Alysha before. She's a sweet girl. Naive, but sweet. And if she wants to be cured, that's fine. It's her decision. No need to call her dumb because of it.

But the rest, I'm with you on. I probably would've thrown a punch at him if I was there.

That, and the immortality thing. I'm already gonna live longer than a normal human. That's enough for me.
