    Israel Lloyd.

Ranged doesn't fit my style, I'm telling you... Lloyd whispers to himself, but he tries to locate the biggest threat. He didn't put that effort after skimming through the battlefield, and found that Water could use some help, so he drew two arrows and kept one in his mouth.
Take this, you meanies! Israel aimed and shot one of the two enemies that are flanking the elemental, Water. After the first arrow, Lloyd immediatly grabbed the arrow that he was holding with his mouth and shot again against the same target. Off we go!
After shooting, Lloyd gave a step back, to prepare to run heavily.

Gol flanks the swordsman and lowers his head for a horn attack. Bone clangs against metal, and the swordsman twists to deflect the blow and avoid any damage.

Israel steps forward and decides to give ranged support to Water. However, as he suspected, ranged combat is not his forte, and his arrows miss their target.

Up above, the wizard begins another spell, but Eugene is ready for him. He shoots at the man with his pistol and hits him on the abdomen. Amazingly, the wizard staves away the pain and finishes his spell, sending force missiles towards Sir Stalwart before limping back from the bluff edge, out of sight.

Water becomes even more like a wave and turns to face the rogue. He crashes down on him, the weight of him pushing him back and the force of the impact stunning the man. The swordsman keeps in step and continues to hack at Water, but he is a step too slow to connect.

At the other side of the pool, the other swordsman circles around Skavos and throws an upward diagonal slash. Even with the half-orc menacing him from behind, the shapeshifter manages to lean back enough so that the sword manages to hit only his armor.

Skavos makes a splash as he goes down into the pool, which he finds is only waist-deep. He then proceeds to menace the half-orc with his bites again, and this time, he succeeds to sink in his teeth into the barbarian's leg. The half-orc howls in pain and retaliates with a downward chop with his axe, putting his weight behind the swing that it penetrates your toughened skin.

The archers continue to fire away, with the leftmost one firing at Water. Despite the target's mass seemingly changing constantly, he steadies his bow and his arrow manages to hit the elemental. The other two takes a shot at Gol. One of the missiles does not even come close, while the other manages to hit the totemist right in his chest.

Master and puppet go into action, with Eugene taking the archer and Sir Stalwart going for the rogue. Both are unsuccessful with their attacks; Eugene's bullet goes wide to the left, clanging and ricocheting off the invisible wall of the room while Sir Stalwart's swing goes harmlessly over the stunned rogue's head.

Israel decides to forego ranged combat and stick to what he does best; fight with his sword. He engages the swordsman to the right, and Gol takes advantage of double-teaming him. he drops his head and lunges, this time his horn tearing through metal and flesh.

Skavos works around the half-orc and lunges in with his fangs. This time, both his attempts connect, tearing through flesh and liberating lots of blood. This enrages the half-orc and he roars in fury. He keeps in step with Skavos and swings down his axe with so much force he could not control it, and the shapeshifter dodges the telegraphed attack easily. Noticing their comrade in trouble, the archers once again switch targets, this time focusing on Skavos. One arrow misses badly, but the other sinks into the shapeshifter's tough skin. Israel and Gol team up on the swordsman, and their concerted effort pays off. Israel immediately shows his worth as a swordsman, connecting solidly with his first swing, but perhaps gets over-excited and mistimes his swing, missing wide on the second. Gol capitalizes on the distraction and drives his horn into the swordsman, connecting yet again. The swordsman is bloodied, but he still stands.

Eugene fires again at the wizard, and it looks like he is getting used to the new guns since his bullet finds its target once more. His trusty companion does not share his fate, though, as its attacks are still ineffective.

Up above, the wizard curses loudly as another bullet hits him. He knows another such hit could be the end of him, but he starts another spell anyway. And for this one, he needs to get closer to his target, and obviously, to his opponents.

He just hopes they would miss.

As he finishes his spell, he throws a ray at Skavos. The ray connects and the shifter is not hurt, but instead is almost instantly sapped of his strength.

Water uses brute strength to pull the thug further into the pool, and the man could do nothing to stand his ground. Recovering his body control, he contorts and squirms to escape the elemental's grasp. His companion keeps in step with them - now going into the pond - and continues to hack at Water. He exploits an opening from the elemental's effort at dragging the rogue and scores a solid blow.

At the other side of the pool, the other swordsman re-positions himself to escape the flank. He still focuses on Gol and brings his sword up once more. With a strong downward cut, he blows through Gol's defense and cuts his shoulder.

The wizard's spell seems to be effective, as Skavos' bites lose their snap from before, and his opponent manages to defend himself from them this time. The half-orc then retaliates with another heavy swing, and while the shifter is weakened, he is still very much capable of avoiding such clumsy an attack.

The archers continue their volley from up above, this time choosing Sir Stalwart and Skavos as their targets. Three more arrows fly, but none hit their mark.

    Eugene and Sir Stalwart

Seeing the ray that stuck his ally Skavos, Eugene decides he has had enough of that wizard. "Charge Sir Stalwart! Strike down the enemy spellcaster!" While he gives his order, Eugene quickly reloads and fires at the wizard himself, giving his foe no chance to prepare himself for the coming assault.

In a blink of an eye, the group manages to turn the tide in their favor. Eugene locks in on the foolish wizard with his sights and fires, and the robed man does not even see what hits him. He catches the bullet straight on his forehead, and he goes down without even a sound but a thud as his dead body hits the ground. Israel charges his sword with magic and his blow impacts the swordsman's full plate with a loud and scintillating display that is more than enough to take care of his target. With his opponent dead, Gol turns his horns towards the half-orc. His attack impacts with much force, and the barbarian looks to be dead. However, he is kept standing by his sheer rage.
