Re: Mafia 2: mass intrigue (closed)
Decken and Kyrian, why are you certain that Krursk is innocent? I happen to know that Space-is-curved is just as innocent I am. So then, the only option we would have left is Maynolds, but Alarra was quite certain he was safe, as he had not done anything to garner her suspicion. Krursk, on the other hand, she had her eye on you for a while. Sadly, she was not able to get the evidence to me before she was killed, so as a result, I am going to stick with my vote on Krursk, but I would be greatful if you could answer these questions.

I'll keep this short and sweet. It seems that the time for roleplaying the filmnoir style play is over, so I will simply Point at Krusk.

Re: Mafia 2: mass intrigue (closed)
Which would be great if it weren't for the fact that your part of the mafia...
Citizens, I present to you the final to Mafiosos left in the town: Space is curved and Eldritch Knight. We can kill them tommorrow I guess.
Protector person who I can't remember the name of, I'd appreciate your protection tonight if your still alive.
Oh and if I die over night, you can go ahead and kill them two and win the game.Last edited by inky13112; 2007-03-14 at 07:12 PM.

Re: Mafia 2: mass intrigue (closed)
Inky. Space-is-curved is the quack. As far as I know, the seer has already scried on him as such, as I had asked Alarra to pass on a message to that effect. And Inky, what grounds have you to say that I am Mafia? Are you referring to the post I made in the Empire thread asking rhetorically "Why do I have a feeling that I'll get the same role I've had for the last few games I've played?" Need I remind you that I was a villager in WWV, a wolf in WWIV, a villager yet again in the first WWCII. The list goes on. The point of that post was saying that I doubted I'd get a role I'd never played before. And I'm not sure bringing in information outside of the game is an entirely fair method of arguing.

Re: Mafia 2: mass intrigue (closed)
Well aren't you quite the liar? I am the seer, and I made no such scry. The list is now short enough that I feel safe saying this without the help of the baner or whatever it is.
Edit ouch I just checked and the doctor is dead. Thats not good but oh well.
After Krursk dies then only EK, SIC, and Meynolds remain unknown, with Captain van der Decken a possible but highly unlikely mafia. This is for the benefit of the surviving villagers, because I die tonight having revealed that I'm the seer with no protection.Last edited by inky13112; 2007-03-14 at 07:40 PM.

Re: Mafia 2: mass intrigue (closed)
Well then, Inky. I would check you're PM's because there should be one from Alarra asking you to look at Space-is-curved. She should have sent it two nights ago, I believe.
Further more, the list cannot be trusted anymore for two simple reasons. 1. Shadow was in fact a member of the cult, and made it so that he could protect the cult leader. 2. I know for a fact that I am not a mafia member, and Space-is-curved is the Quack. Since this is the case, I can only conclude that someone on the list has somehow been able to disguise themselves as something else.
Narrators, I believe the time for lynching has come and passed.Last edited by Eldritch Knight; 2007-03-14 at 07:41 PM. Reason: timing off

Re: Mafia 2: mass intrigue (closed)
Funny how the list becomes obsolete the moment it points at you.
Whether Shadow was in the Cult has no bearing on anything, as the cult has no reason to obscure who is in the mafia. They don't want them to win just as much as the unconverted citizens.Last edited by inky13112; 2007-03-14 at 07:51 PM.

Re: Mafia 2: mass intrigue (closed)
Yes, however the fact that I am NOT a member of the mafia lends credence to the fact that the list is flawed. If I am not a mafia member, and Space-is-curved is not a mafia member, what is the only remaining conclusion, Inky?
And, did you happen to check your PM's to see if the one from Alarra was there? I know she sent it. If you don't have it, that just proves you're the one lying about being the seer.
Let me just also say this, Inky, the cult and the mafia are both threats to the village, correct? It has already been shown that the list was created by shadow, who became a cultist. It stands to reason that the rest of the cultists are likely hiding in that list. It also stands to reason that if a mafia member was made into a cultist, they would be also on the list. Now, I know for a fact that I am not a member of the mafia, and nor is Space-is-curved, so for the good of the village, we must disband the list.Last edited by Eldritch Knight; 2007-03-14 at 09:23 PM.

Re: Mafia 2: mass intrigue (closed)
Ok, now normally I would be meek about this, but seeing as my lynching is imminent...
I am the Seer. Police. Whatever the role is called in this game, I'm the guy who can figure out if people are guilty or innocent. So far I've had a slew of people turning out A)Innocent and B)Killed in the morning, but I scried/police checked EK last night.
Lynch me as you will, but EK is a mafia, unless me and the fool are wrong about who is who.

Re: Mafia 2: mass intrigue (closed)
Well a police officer was killed but that could have been the crazy cop. Also if you were getting innocent/guilty verdicts then you were likely the cop. See Krursk there are 4 seer and quasi seer roles in this game: cop, crazy cop, seer, and fool. The fool (Van Der Decken) has already claimed to be the fool, and this seems relatively likely. Either the cop or crazy cop was killed, and I am the seer. This means that Krursk is either lying or the cop or crazy cop. He's pointing at EK which lends credence to the cop theory. Really I'd rather not lynch the cop, so despite the fact that this screws up my calculations some, I am changing my vote to EK.

Re: Mafia 2: mass intrigue (closed)
It had been a long, hard day. My head hurt like a confirmed alcoholic without his dose of sauce. Dealing with all the petty details of getting Lucky's Malt Shop rebuilt was proving a real migraine. So much so that I had to stop, step out and go back to my office. It was time to check my dossiers again.
I was minded of an old fact I'd nearly forgotten, and when it came to the surface, I'd cursed myself for a fool.
I knew there was little time left to adjust, but some things have to be done, no matter how personal the cost.

Re: Mafia 2: mass intrigue (closed)
Inky is lying! I am, in fact, the quack. It is obviously true that Inky is mafia, and attempting (with more success than any of us want) to trick the townspeople to side with him! The only proof I can give is that after you lynch EK, Inky WILL NOT DIE over the night, but I WILL NOT PROTECT HIM. After that, the mafia will have an easy time mopping up the rest of you, and it will be too late. That's why he didn't want us to point at Krursk. He's also mafia.

Re: Mafia 2: mass intrigue (closed)
I assure you all that I am innocent. Selrhac was the Cop, not the crazy cop, so we cannot fully trust Krursk's conclusion, as it may be flawed. I on the other hand, am quite certain that he is speaking the truth about being one of the cops. As I am not a member of the mafia, and Space-is-curved is not a member, my only conclusion is that the last member of the mafia is Meynolds. Shadow, back when I was still in contact with him, confirmed that the Cop who was giving them the readings for the list was indeed the real cop. Therefore, Krursk is the crazy cop, and his conclusions are in error. Now, Inky, I don't know if you're the seer or not, but i'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. I also know that Alarra brought you into the cult, so you'll have to be lynched eventually for the village to win.

Re: Mafia 2: mass intrigue (closed)
If Selrahc was the Cop, then Krusk is the crazy cop or a liar. I can vouch for inky's claim.
Either way, this has turned into a confusing mess, right quick.

Re: Mafia 2: mass intrigue (closed)
The day was unusually long and in the end the woman calling herself a dragon of twilight rushed at Krursk as directed by the mob, unfortunately his gun went of just after she finished strangling him. A quick search through their posessions showed up a police badge at Krursk, combined with a prescription for medicine against schizophrenia and a couple of dice in DLD's pockets.
