+3 Rending Gouge
Mind Blade applies Unconcious. Whenever you hit someone who's unconcious, every attack against them is a crit. Therefore, we do get the MBA from the Rending Gouge. But that MBA will be a crit too, so we'll attack again. And again. And again.
"But GPuzzle, can't we only make one free action attack a round?"
Rending just says you make it, it's not marked as a free action.
So we end up attacking again. And again. And again. And again. Forever and ever and ever.
And we are dealing infinite damage.

to auto-crit an unconscious creature you must perform a coup de grace, which is a standard action.

Re: Warforged Barbarian|Battlemind/Winter Fury - infinite damage available at level 1
It is as much a 'no action' attack as it is a minor, move or standard action attack. All bonus attacks are free actions or more unless explicitly something else. Don't be silly.

Instead of posting fully fleshed out, named builds with crazy mechanical tricks that often don't work the way you want, you could just post asking if the core mechanical trick involved works ;) might save time.

That would be a wise idea. Theorycrafting in it's own right is fun, but this isn't the pointless-optimization-using-lose-rules forum. That's what WotC is for.

Re: Warforged Barbarian|Battlemind/Winter Fury - infinite damage available at level 1
Yes. And it says "no action" (or rather, there is explicit errata saying it is a no action attack).
I said interpreting a power that does not say what action it takes as a "no action" is no more valid than interpreting it as a standard action, move action, or minor action (or free action).
By RAW, it does not have an action type, so you cannot do the action.
By RAI, it should be a free action attack.

That's all well and good, but Rending is a property, not a power. A property that modifies the usage of the attack power "Melee Basic Attack."
Honestly, it's very close to a Timmy enchantment.
