Located deep in the hot jungle of Outside, a large temple rises from the steamy ground floor... It is here where the Sith Apprentices under Darth Calamity and Skye study the ways of the Dark Side of the force, growing ever stronger...


Important Events: The Ignitis Academy has been only recently formed, founded by Trucido Amare and Skye. It's been a period of five weeks, and since then the temple has been repaired and stocked up. Now, for the first time in ages, the temple is open and accepting students.

Spoiler: Sith Code and the History Behind It, By Darth Calamity:

A single, unifying code can be derived from the Sith philosophy. The Jedi have a code, and we exiles know it well. But we also know it is full of inadequacies and half-truths. According to the Twi'lek Qordis, founder and master of the first Sith Academy, the Code of the Sith served as the backbone of the Order since the Sith'ari Purebloods rebelled against the Jedi Exiles and formed the Sith Order. Indeed, the first recorded appearance of the Code dates back to the personal journal of Sorzus Syn, one of the fallen Jedi who set foot on Korriban in the year 6900 BBY...

By 990 BBY, the Jedi Order knew of the Sith Code. The Human Jedi Restelly Quist wrote a chapter on Sith history, including a brief commentary on the Code of the Sith. According to Master Quist, the tenets of the Sith were self-centered and focused on individual needs and desires, while the Jedi defended the idea of achieving greatness through self-humbling. Restelly Quist was wrong. The tenets of the Sith are more than just words to be memorized. Learn them, understand them. They will lead you to the true power of the Force; the power of the dark side. The code reads as such...

The Ignitis Academy is a very large area, composed of two large wings connected to the main building. There's a courtyard with twelve pillars just outside, and walls have been put up around the place. The Academy itself is huge and quite defensible. Before the building was remodeled into an academy it was an ancient Sith'ari Temple. Some sort of accident with a teleportation experiment caused the temple to end up in the Nexus, and the past owners were found long dead.

Left Wing: The large left section of the temple turned academy is reserved for bunkers, kitchens, and living quarters. There's about forty beds all in all, ten bathrooms, and five kitchens. Each of the area's are finely made, with various tapestries of the New Galactic Unification Symbol. The kitchens are well stocked, although the food is hardly world class, composing mostly of breads, cheeses, and oats. There's quite a lot of vegetables as well, but very little meat.

The beds are set up in large rooms, five beds per room. The area's are quite bare, however each bed has a closet and small bedside table on it. There's a chest at the base of each room, however each one is locked. A small key is hidden beneath each pillow in the room.

The bathrooms are quite clean, however each shower area is separated by nothing but a cubicle that reaches an average person's neck. Obviously members are meant to share public shower space. There's also an extensive library in the left wing, filled with Sith scriptures on the philosophy, history of the Sith, and various books on smithing Sith Lightsabers.

Right Wing: This wing is composed of Training Grounds, a secure armory filled with Sith armor and sabers, and whole rooms devoted to exotic Sith training equipment. The Training Grounds house large combat dummies, various holo-helmets which produce a holographic saber-wielding enemy to mentally battle, and various cubes of different weights to practice lifting. The armory is locked with a special code and various traps set about it. Only Trucido and Skye know how to gain access into the armory.

Inside hang twenty five sets of specially made Sith armor. There are ten sets of light armor, which come in black, grey, and red.

Last of the public armor, there's five sets of Heavy armor. These only come in black, and are to be worn by only the strongest of individuals.

Also located inside the armory are many lightsabers. These sabers are always quite plain and general. The weapons are to be used as practice lightsabers, and only when a Sith exceeds the rank of Sith Apprentice and becomes a true Sith is the individual allowed to forge his own unique lightsaber. There are several saberstaves, [double bladed sabers] and a few sabers with exotic curved blades. Against the adjacent wall are several firearms. There's only a few of these, for when the temple was recovered, most of the weapons had been damaged. There are a few standard Bryar Blasters, and about five Sniping Weapons.

The last feature of the right wing happens to be an extremely large and well-made forge. The forge is a brilliant chrome and crimson construct, carved with beautiful Sith'ari runes talking of battle, and conflict, and victory. It is here where Sith Lightsabers are molded, forged, and crafted. Though the paint has faded under the wear of time, the forge is still a beautiful sight to see, easily inspiring fear and awe among potential blacksmiths... Carved in Common at the very top of the forge in glowing red letters is the saying "Peace is a lie, there is only passion."

Center Area: In the middle of the base the large private quarters of Skye and Trucido lie alongside the extensive laboratories. The private quarters used to belong to the leader of the temple, Darth Maloravis. These rooms are lavish and organized, containing a private bathroom, several bookshelves, and computers. Each room contains a large bed as well, fully blanketed. The laboratories contain clean equipment, along with some new things bought from MagIndustries. There's even several cloning tanks that were preserved and discovered by Trucido and Skye during the reclamation of the academy. Among the cloning tanks are tables covered in syringes, potions, bubbling biotech canisters filled with mysterious liquids, and many books on genetic experimentation... Clearly, there's something a bit strange about what goes on in the labs. Needless to say, access to Skye's laboratories is absolutely off-limits to all students.

Seeing as this is a new organization, I'd quite like it if the place didn't implode on itself anytime soon! So, without further ado, here's some helpful rules to keep the place running smoothly.

Kindly refrain from Godmodding, [Also called God Moding, either way, not fun.]

Try to not drop nukes or anything horrible on the base without talking with myself or Recaiden first. While I can understand there being attacks on the base, I don't really want it destroyed. EXPLODE ALL THE THINGS.

Spam is no fun at all, and as a general note long posts are much more fun to read then short ones! WRITE ALL THE ESSAYS.

Finally, while curtaining might happen, try not to overdo it. It sort of gets uncomfortable sometimes to members. SECKS ALL THE THINGS.

To join the Ignitis Academy one must simply have a character visit the Academy. The character can simply knock and briefly meet Skye and Trucido. To get into the academy, one must display some minor skills with a lightsaber, and show off some force skill in a duel against Trucido. Afterwards, a character will be allowed in. Once a member is entered into the academy he/she is supplied with a plain lightsaber, and is to receive a tattoo on his/her palm of a Sith'ari rune.

The log of Jedi Master Baer Thurt speaks of the origin of Trucido Amare, and the man's descent into the dark side. His log reads thusly.

"It was often said that Jedi Knights Garn Kubo and Trucido Amare were to be the strongest Jedi of this century, and I myself believed it. Under the watchful and caring eyes of the famous Jedi Master Ai-Kal, the pair of friends had flourished into brilliant Jedi, the pride of our Academy. We all thought that one day, Kubo and Amare would one day teach and guide their own generation of Jedi.

We were wrong on both accounts.

We have gathered from various sources the full story of Trucido Amare, AKA Darth Calamity of the Sith Order. At the age of 24, Trucido was nearly finished training, and almost ready to be gifted the title of Jedi Master, along with his close friend Kubo. He was loyal, strong, and gifted. But he was lonely. He craved affection. He craved love. Jedi are forbidden from starting attachments with others, and for good reason. It clouds the mind. Jedi must remain detached from such emotion, for it clouds our judgement.

One day, Trucido met with a vibrant young woman on the planet Kayrie 5. He was on a mission to guide a trade vessel to port there, and defend the vessel against the bandits common in the area. The ship arrived completely safe, all cargo protected. Trucido was to stay in port for days until the vessel was finished unloading. The curious man had met her there. Her name was Syren, AKA Darth Serpentia. The Jedi spent a week with the alluring, kind, and mysterious female. She was pretending to be a bounty hunter, and in reality, had been chosen to seduce and captivate Trucido or Garn, whichever one, for it was unknown to the sith which would appear. Had it been Garn, Darth Serpentia would surely have been caught.

But it wasn't. She was everything the lonely man had been craving, and in merely days he had fallen in love completely with the woman. Madly in love. He would have died for the woman. We discovered this information in Trucido's log, where he had written down his accounts of Serpentia. He would have died for her. Trucido had to eventually leave, and so Syren begged Trucido to take her with him. Trucido eagerly agreed, and she was smuggled aboard. For months she was hidden away from everyone around Trucido, corrupting his mind without him ever knowing. He had separated himself from most people around him, most especially Garn.

It wasn't noticeable. He simply often went on walkabout through the mountains for a few days, telling his close friends and superiors that he was going to meditate and observe natural life, attempting to truly become one with the force. In reality, Trucido Amare was seeing Syren. Eventually, Syren revealed her true nature to Trucido, that she was in fact a Sith Lord. Trucido was greatly hurt and confused. But, he was in love, and by that time... Nothing could stop him from wanting to be with Syren. He had grown so attached, and he had started down the steep path into darkness.

They swore they'd be together, even though he was Jedi and she was Sith. But... Her ulterior motives must have shown through. She showed Trucido the powers of the Dark Side of the Force. Taught him how powerful emotions like the love he had for her could grant him powers beyond his wildest dreams. But she never taught him about Hate. Or Anger. Or Suffering. She trained him in the Sith ways, seducing and changing the powerful Jedi we all knew, until there was hardly anything left. He visited the mountains three times, each time for a whole month, all the while ignoring his friends.

Soon, his emotions ruled him. He had become more beast than man... More animal than Jedi. His entire mindset was warped. She had taught him the Sith Code. The Sith Ways. And one day... He was deemed Darth Calamity. And she revealed her name. Darth Serpentia. They descended from the mountains, his purple lightsaber beside her red. They were to wipe out Trucido's past. Jedi by Jedi. The only Jedi Master in the Compound was Master Ai-Kal, and Garn was the only Jedi Knight. The rest were the fifteen apprentices from ages 15-20, learning under Ai-Kal's guidance.

The pair of Sith snuck inside in the night, clad in black robes. Reapers of death. They started by sneaking into the barracks of the fifteen apprentices, the pale moonlight shining down through the windows as the young Jedi lay asleep in their beds. The pair of Sith destroyed them, every last apprentice dead in their beds, the Sith enjoying the feelings death and combat presented to them, their love growing stronger with each drop of blood spilt, a terrible love story. A tragedy. The deaths of the apprentices were sensed by Garn Kubo and Master Ai-Kal. The surviving pair quickly rushed to the center of the compound, the long hall.

The Sith broke the massive iron doors in, their powers denting the metal. The pair walked into the long Hallway, the ten massive stone columns supporting the high ceiling. At the other end, Master Ai-Kal stood with his yellow lightsaber blazing high, Garn's Yellow and Blue shining beside his Master. The Sith walked to the center of the hall, and waited. The Jedi moved to the pair of Sith, and battle commenced. The camera's recorded the entire battle, and the duel was incredible. Darth Serpentia went against Master Ai-Kal, while Darth Calamity and Garn Kubo battled. Friend against friend.

The battle raged for a solid twenty minutes, lightsabers flashing endlessly, a flurry of red, yellow, purple, and blue. In a flash and a use of the force, Darth Serpentia eventually force pushed both Garn and Master Ai-Kal away from Trucido and herself. Master Ai-Kal was knocked hard into the back wall and split his skull, forcing the Jedi Master unconscious. Serpentia also force choked Garn Kubo into temporary submission, forcing Garn to watch as she beckoned Trucido to saber Master Ai-Kal.

How terrible that must have been... Garn watched as Trucido moved closer to Ai-Kal. There was a terrible flash of purple light, then Jedi Master Ai-Kal became one with the force, his head rolling to Kubo's feet. In a bold act, Garn Kubo force pulled Master Ai-Kal's yellow lightsaber to levitate behind Darth Calamity and Darth Serpentia as they moved closer to finish Garn off. Serpentia was struck in the side, and fell to the ground screaming, but alive. Next, Trucido Force Pulled Serpentia's red saber to his free hand.

Then there was yet another duel, Red and Purple versus Yellow and Blue. During the battle, Kubo was disarmed and force pushed away from Darth Calamity. Trucido walked towards Garn slowly, eager to inflict his vengeance on Garn. Trucido felt Anger. Felt Revenge. And had used those emotions to better Garn for once. Garn had no choice. He grabbed a sonic grenade that he had taken to the battle from his room, and threw it at Trucido. The Sith wasn't at all expecting it.

It was bloody and violent. It went off, deafening Trucido and horribly destroying his teeth down to the roots. In the process, the explosion also collapsed a column. Darth Serpentia was crushed beneath the massive stone, her body destroyed under the weight. However, Garn Kubo's leg was also trapped under the column, pinning the Jedi down. His Master's yellow lightsaber was flung from his hand. Trucido watched in horror at the destruction all around him. The woman he loved was gone forever. He had killed so many. He had killed his Master. And his face was a horrible disfigured mess. He pulled Master A-Kal's saber towards him, and stuffed it in his belt beside Serpentia's.

Darth Calamity fled from the Jedi Compound, bleeding and deaf, his face destroyed. However, he has survived. It is known that Darth Calamity still roams the galaxy, murdering, killing, and stealing. Rumors are that the Sith had surgery on his face and teeth, repairing himself. Garn Kubo has become Master Garn Kubo and sustained no lasting physical injuries from the battle. Master Garn Kubo was last seen battling Darth Calamity over Mustafar. They have not been seen for months, and it is common belief that both perished in the molten fire by eachother's hands.

And that is the Tragedy of Trucido Amare. Victim or Monster?"

In a nearby clearing, a heavily modified Kazellis freighter is hovering. It never lands, only extending a boarding platform to let off a young man, tall, taut, and broad shouldered but wirey and slightly malnourished. He wears a simple style, rugged smuggler's clothes popular near Corellia.

His hair is dark brown and matted, hanging over sunken hazel eyes. His face may have been cute once, handsome, even, but is now marred by scars from burns and deep cuts, and is emotionless and tired. He drags a small but heavy lockbox behind him, and a cylinder of decorated bone hangs at his belt.

He turns and waves to the freighter as it leaves, and makes his way to the front of the academy, his stance tense, but powerful, nothing like the relaxed and loose way he stood years before.

Only force sensitive individuals would receive the mental message, easily weeding out any who'd attempt to infiltrate the academy or masquerade as an initiate. The mental message is composed of one single word.Bow. Trucido waits for one of the individuals below to react... timing how quickly it would take them.

Here's a new arrival, Korwil Traise, a blond, short haired human with bright green eyes, an easy smile, and a walking stick held in his right hand. The man looks to be about in his early 30s, wearing worn out clothes consisting of black cargo pants, a white t-shirt, and a red jacket. I should mention that he is missing his left arm...it's probably missing him too.
He doesn't hear the word, per say, but he feels the intention, if that makes sense. Whether anyone else bows or not, he is confident enough in himself to bow low at almost a 90 degree angle.

Korwil grins, tapping his smooth, dark staff on the ground. Because that's what people do. They watch out for each other. At least, when you have any around you. Those who are keen at detecting The Force can observe that Korwil's aura is erratic, flaring and "bleeding" out. He clearly has a lot of power, but it isn't well contained. The name's Korwil Traise.

Max Plasteel had been his favorite action holo hero, but Laz has slowly lost his fervour for cheesy, hammy, 'good guy always wins' movies.

He judges Natalie and Korwill quickly and silently.

Dark skin, purplish, what species? Doesn't matter. Dragon god, uneducated backwater planetsider. She looks sort of like the dancer did. Purplish, the eyes, the 'god', same kind of pret-No. The dancer didn't get a chance, why would this one?

His arm. His aura. This place will eat him right up. The Jedi would slay him, would deem him a threat and lock him away until he wasted and died. Say it's not their fault or his. The worst guilt of all. What did the holocron say? 'Whole of body, whole of-' My leg. That's different.

Give them a chance I got no chance why should I-

He shakes his head as if something has buzzed by his ear.

Trucido looks over at Skye (Most likely sitting in the chair by him, but that's up to Recaiden) before speaking confidently, rising from his chair. He was clad in his beautifully well-crafted and extremely flashy Sith'ari Leggate's Heavy Armor. The armor was big and quite strong, yet possessed a near weightlessness and agility. This was due to the special anti-gravity bands built into the thing. He recovered this armor from the body of Darth Mactus, the ex-leader of the temple. He looked impressive and frightening, a figure to respect. He makes his way down.

It as at the exact moment that Lazaro begins to assess his teammates when the large iron doors are blown wide open. The sound is extremely loud and sure to draw the attention of the others. Seeing as the sun's been out for a few weeks now, the courtyard is illuminated only by large torch sconces, senidng flickering shadows all over... It's very dark inside the open door, and only an odd glimmer of torchlight across metal can be seen... A strange glint. The gathering of apprentices can only barely make out the outline of a tall and imposing figure standing in the doorway. The figure raises his hands up into the air as behind him large torches giving off red light are activated row by row. At the same time, a sudden gust of wind appears... most likely sending a chill down the spine of an onlooker. Had to be a coincidence, right? (Trucido had used the force to simply cause the lights to turn on. The torches are synthetic and powered by electricity, but are made in the shape of torches and sconces.)

It's really quite dramatic, and now the individual in the hallway is fully illuminated, the red light dancing off his magnificent white and dark red armor. The armor is quite intimidating, layers of the strange white metal wrapped around the figure, clothing him in a protective cocoon. However, his movements are quite fluid, and he moves with an astounding grace hinting at some sort of hidden property about the armor. A large billowing cloak falls behind him, the wind pushing it back to flair about his figure slowly. Despite all the intimidating features of the brilliant suit, the man wearing it certainly lives up to the armor. His face is stern and hallow, and while in reality the man is the mere age of 28, the stress and burdens of his past age him greatly. His eyes are a brilliant electric blue and seem to gaze deep into the hearts of any onlooker... assessing them individually. His hair is very well-kept and styled in a very specific fashion all his own. However, the most interesting feature of his face happens to be his teeth. The man appears to have large fangs of steel... the metal reflecting light off it.

Needless to say, Trucido Amare is like no other person the apprentices have ever seen. He lets a brief few seconds of time pass, letting the individuals assess what they just saw. However, he then speaks. Greetings, younglings. I am Darth Calamity, Sith Lord and Master of the Ignitis Academy. Stand tall. At this, he walks out of the doorway, his long cloak trialing behind him. He's the absolute air of authority, and his intensely powerful aura of despair, hatred, and conflict can be easily felt. He'll circle around each individual slowly, like a shark looking over prey... before moving in front of them all again and speaking to them. There's three ancient Sith holocrons within the box, if Trucido can feel them, and the crystal inside the bone cylinder hanging from Lazaro'a belt radiates faint but old power.

Entrance

Korwil takes a single step forward, supporting his weight on his staff. Trucido should be able to tell that the initiate uses his walking stick to channel the force, as evidenced by traces of Traise's aura linger throughout the wood. We are quality steel on the anvil: useless until crafted by a master. Teach us your ways, make us a double-edged sword, an axe, a spear. Make us strong. His tone his respectful, but contains no intimidation. He hasn't been made to feel fear for a few years now...he is confident in his own strength.

Darth Calamity can indeed feel the strange power radiating from the lockbox, not quite sure exactly what could be producing such an effect. He'll have to look into that soon. However, his eyes do glance down at the bone cylinder at Lazaro's belt. He knew what kind of energy the object was radiating and instantly recognized it as a lightsaber. Trucido would have to sit down with the boy and question him a bit. Lazaro will be able to see two lightsabers at Darth Calamity's belt. The sabers are truly beautiful and obviously extremely well-crafted. The one at his left side is a beautiful purple blade with a curved hilt, and many runes are carved into the saber in a gold font. It's a beautiful saber radiating a powerful purple force crystal. The saber at his right radiates a much more carnal energy... The hilt is also curved, but the entire bottom of the right saber seems to be a quite large fang from some huge serpent...

Darth Calamity has absolutely no idea what a dovahkiin is, but he can sense some sort of force ability within her. That was good... This one could be trained to use those abilities. She seemed to be a force-oriented individual. He doesn't bother saying anything to her, but instead simply walks over to Korwil.

Trucido glares down upon the walking stick, obviously a bit disappointed by the aid. He senses a bit of aura about him, but it's faint. However, he's quite impressed by Korwil's verbal reply. This one had an air of charisma about him, quite rare among the Sith. It was dangerous. He moves in front of the group and address them again. You are correct in your beliefs, younglings. You can be strong, and you can succeed. All of you have the strength and power of The Force flowing through your veins! I will teach you to function without mental or physical crutches. I will extract weakness from your body, and replace it with strength. I will teach you how to battle and how to break your chains! The force shall free you, younglings... Now, this will be your final chance. Follow me and enter the academy, and you will be provided a room and nourishment. You will follow the schedule provided, and I will show you what it is to be a Master. Your lives will be changed, and you will not be the same...

With that, Trucido begins to walk inside. Should the three follow, he will speak out loud. Korwil, Natalia... head to the left until you reach a large room. Madame Skye will be waiting for you there. You will be provided a room, and she will inform you of your living arrangements. Lazaro, you are to follow me. The door closes by itself behind the group, and Trucido moves to the right side of the compound, into a training room.

A woman approaches the entrance. She wears robes that are pure black. Her face is concealed in a magical darkness under her hood. She wears gloves and black boots. She has a scythe strapped across her back. As she walks, darkness seems to break off the scythe and float a little. She looks at the academy. Impressive, she thinks. She waits for someone to notice her.

She has a scythe strapped across her back. As she walks, darkness seems to break off the scythe and float a little. She looks at the academy. Impressive, she thinks. She waits for someone to notice her.

He's wearing his simple robes here, not really bothering to wear his heavy armor. In the air, his lightsabers slowly revolve about along with a few large stones. He's exercising his force use. After all, even though Trucido was a Master, he still required work to hone his skills. He doesn't bother open his eyes, but instead senses the new person. He speaks to her slowly, his crisp and clear voice conveying confidence in his speech. Shadows cannot hide you. Darkness cannot shield you. Nothing can mask the sense of The Force. What are your intentions?

Following the Master

Lazaro flashes the sign for 'respect' again, but his eyes are on the lightsabers. Such craftsmanship, beauty and power combined into a tool of surgical precision.

He doesn't question how the Sith master knows his name, he's heard the stories-from both points of view-and he knows such powers are common amongst those more skilled.

Lazaro follows Trucido into the training room. He's a bit nervous, but Waterlark taught him long ago how to remove emotion from the equation.

Though maybe he didn't do so well of a job, Lazaro was pretty brutal when he killed the crew.

Entrance

A hover-platform is being dragged towards the Temple by eight naked young slaves; four boys and four girls. The slaves are the equivalent of seventeen; half are pale-skinned elves, whilst the other half are drow. The platform itself has a domed roof and a small motor; the slaves are mostly pulling for show. When the conveyance stops, the dome opens and some steps descend. Climbing down is a red-furred Zygerrian in the equivalent of her mid-twenties with an elegant walking-stick carved from a white, nearly translucent wood. She's wearing a short, sleeveless green tunic and a pair of tasselled green trousers, and a deactivated shockwhip hangs at her belt.

Meeting Skye

Korwil follows the given directions, taking the oath until he arrives at the chamber. He remains silent on the way there, though this isn't from tension. He is utterly relaxed.

Another being approaches the temple. This one is tiny, barely 40 centimeters tall, female, and obviously juvenile, even considering her species. Her head is disproportionately large, almost as large as the rest of her short body and thin limbs, wearing a simple, rustic-looking dress of some sort of animal fiber. Her features are vaguely animal-like, with soft, downy fur around the edges of her face, a small small black nose, large, tufted ears and pale pink skin. Several magenta braids coil around her head, over her ears, and down her back in an intricate hairstyle, slightly disarrayed by travel. In general, she looks rather the worse for wear, covered in soot and dirt and scratches, with a large burn marring the edge of her skirt.

The tiny yordle girl stops short of the massive iron doors, her bright amber eyes, which by themselves take up half of her face, alight with cold curiosity, her head tilted in a studying expression.

In her hands is clutched a black lightsaber, clearly built for a being much larger than her.

Therlynn approaches the temple cautiously, her bow drawn. However, it appears that she's not seeking combat, and she knocks heavily on the doors.
