Default Star Wars: Dark Star (MAIN THREAD)

A thousand-thousand years may pass, and what was may vanish with them.
Yet while what has past may be forgotten, it may not forget.

    STAR WARS: DARK STAR

    EPISODE 1: THE OBELISK

One hundred centuries after the fall of Emperor Palpatine, the Republic enjoys a seemingly endless age of privilege and prosperity. The Jedi Order has both waxed and waned in their role in the military, finally retreating to smaller temple-worlds. The legacy of the Sith seems to have dwindled to myth over the ages, their ruins gathering dust.

The Republic is now a dying giant, bloated and ancient. The dominant cultures include the rigid traditionalist Mandalorian, and the free-market Correllian Consortium. With some worlds too caught up in ancient customs to see danger at their doorstep, and others too greedy to care, the task of defending the people has fallen to mercenaries.

Enter the Cavalier: a star destroyer tasked with defending the Republic. A crew of clone troopers is supplemented by a troupe of adventurers, sell-swords and scoundrels. This band of outcasts travel the galaxy defending the weak and fighting the good fight.
    Meanwhile, in space...

I want your first post to be a description of yourself as other people see you (ie: "you see a tall, dark, handsome stranger with a wide-brimmed hat and a long white beard").

    LORE

HUMANS: The most populous race in the Galaxy, humans have expanded to many worlds over many centuries. They have the most diverse population, however, as many cultures have formed on every colony and in every system. Humans have no unified loyalty beyond culture, and empires have fought one another many times throughout history. The three major cultures include Mandalorian aristocracy, Corellion corporate culture, and a non-culture of the so-called “outworlders” who live on the frontiers of the galaxy as settlers. The cultures are not exclusive or ethnic, and different factions within each vie for power with one another, and with the other cultures.

ALIENS/NON-HUMANS: An extremely diverse group, the non-human races rarely expand their cultures beyond their home systems, and instead blend with the major human cultures. The major alien races include Hutts, Wookies, Trandoshians, Ewoks (now a technologically advanced race), Bothans, Twi’Lek, Jawas, and Duros. Others exist in much smaller numbers, with Ithorians and Mon Calamari nearly extinct.

TECHNOLOGY: The core worlds are extremely advanced, having discovered virtually limitless clean power; but, having no need to expand to meet their needs, have become insular. Cybernetics has blossomed, with augmentations and prosthetic limbs common surgeries. Artificial Intelligence has likewise blossomed, with many computer networks gaining personalities of their own, and expressing them through holographic projections throughout the ship or complex. The Holo-Net, an interstellar network for information, is usually present throughout the Core worlds, and some mid-rim worlds with special transmission stations; but it is not reliable compared to on-world networks for commerce or entertainment (ie: you can call the Emperor or use markers to navigate in hyperspace, but not much else). Droids are still commonly used, but are now joined by more-lifelike Androids (and Gynoids) who typically fill the roles of companions and servants. Ships are, as ever, the most important method of travel and trade. All the best advanced are only in the Core worlds, and eventually trickle out to the Outer Rim, usually because of distance, lack of infrastructure or resources in the OR, and even obstacles like asteroid belts or black holes making travel there hard.

MANDALORIAN CULTURES: The Aristocrats of Mandalor are without a doubt a driving force in Galactic history, and in the time since the “Battle of Yavin”, there was a significant Mandalorian Renaissance. Manda has long been the hub of culture, art and civilization, and through its influence passed on culture to thousands of worlds. Many that it welcomed into its empire did so because they had been devastated by disasters, wars, plagues, and poverty. Mandalorians are rightly credited with saving the Galaxy, and for centuries their Galactic Empire of Mandalore was a beacon of light and hope within the Republic and beyond. Many would say that, for that time, Mandalore *was* the Republic, and they are quite right. After ten thousand years the planet of Mandalore itself has waned politically, but many of the worlds they spread to or inspired still retain the traditions, laws and culture of Manda. Even Corellians, when they have enough money, adopt Mandalorian habits. Most Mandalorians are commoners, not nobles, but there are traditions for everything, and everyone has their place and duty.

CORELLIAN CULTURES: Correlia is the hub of the new, of money, and power in the Galaxy, the power of corporations and their technology. Currency is the new currency, according to Correlia, and reality rather than tradition is their driving force. Corellia became the place for guilds of merchants, craftsmen, bankers and others who had talent, worked for their positions, but didn’t have the family connections or “breeding” of Mandalorian aristocrats. This was enough to shift power their way as Mandalore began to wane, and trade, shipping and technology helped the corporations grow in power to their present bloat. Some Corellians dislike how much the successful corporations have taken over, buying up most smaller operations, so that they begin to resemble Mandalorian cultures. True Corellians, they say, are skilled small business owners, freedom-loving, and often overly-blunt.

JEDI: The Jedi Order have focused on their mystical vocation, having retreated from being an official arm of the Republic, and spreading out across the Galaxy to small Temple-World settlements to meditate and train. One example is Magos, a deserted world with only a few Jedi-built stone suctures divided by leagues of sandy wastes. The Jedi are unified into a single Order, but the Counsel of Masters rarely meets all in the same place more than once each century. Instead, a given Master has a territory or world, and knights and padawans training under them; or they travel freely through the stars, however the Force moves them; and contacts the others through hologram communication on matters of great import, such as when one or more Jedi turn to the dark side. Jedi can still hold offices or other roles, such as being officers of the Republic, and if known are given special rank and respect as Jedi. The Empress of Karkasune, a Mandalorian culture, is Jedi-trained and keeps a Jedi Master as her personal advisor. The stations guarding Sith ruins likewise usually have commanders who are Jedi.

DARK SIDE USERS: Occasionally a Jedi will turn to the dark side, going rogue and causing havoc until they are hunted down by as many Jedi as it takes. The Sith Empire is a virtual myth, their worlds naught but haunted ruins avoided by settlers and guarded by Jedi and Republic forces.

POST ONE: WELCOME TO THE CAVALIER

The capital ship comes out of hyperspace, slowing from incredible speeds to a peaceful drift in an instant. The long body of the ship is formed like the barrel of a blaster, tapering to a point at the keel and with many batteries of guns along the two flanks of the ship; the effect is a battle ship of elegance as well as power, authority yet function as a ship of war. The hyperspace engines at the rear glow white-blue as they push the Cavalier along at impulse, a leisurely patrol speed. Yet only the stars surround the ship here, in the space between systems, while within the ship determines its course.

You make your way through the corridors of the ship, and service droids move out of your way as you pass before returning to their tasks at control panels and lighted displays. The interior of the ship is efficient, corridors and quarters making the best use of space for function as well as use. Yet at times the Mandalorian influence upont he republic military is made apparent, as the lines of the ship draw the gaze, and large spaces open up fantastic views.

The doors to the meeting room swish open with a blast of pressurized air, and the auditorium is revealed to you as one such place: a massive room with a great dome with hexagonal panels that ripple on their surface to create a holographic display of star systems, then planetary environments. There is a flash of star fighters battling as you enter, before being quickly replaced by a brightly-lit desert so real that your instincts make you forget you are on a starship, but only for a moment.

The room itself is filled with many rings of seats surrounding a central hub. A hologram projector in the center of the hub projects three-dimensional images in standard blue-green, of the Cavalier and spinning planets around a star. The hub has a wide ring around it, and it is there that your meeting is taking place.

Captain Lancaster is surrounded by a crowd of highly unconventional individuals, of note many obvious scoundrels and bounty hunters, aliens and droids, and more than a few Jedi. Yet, as boisterous as they may normally be, all the bravado is hushed as the old man speaks.

He is a broad-shouldered man, moreso because of his trooper-style plate armor with its shoulder plates and the military icons painted upon it. His head is bare, and you can see his white hair drawn tightly back into a braid, and the long white moustache and pointed beard over his muzzle. He has a strong air of command about him, of nobility earned through deed and competence, but not cruelty. Simply put, even the bounty hunters and soldiers he’s collected, some only a hair’s breadth from being pirates themselves, calm down willingly when he enters a room. Even the lawless want to believe in such a man, to follow him, to be a part of his crew. The sort of commander that makes one want to be a better soldier, a better person, even without speaking. He wears the armor, the signs of office, even the long-hilted lightsaber at his belt, naturally, almost incidentally. Rather, his simply stands at the holo-display, and the rest of you stand around him, and there is a strong sense of peace and purpose about that.

The troopers directly flanking him, and the doorways, are similarly dressed, if less decorated. Their armor bears the red stripe of Lancaster’s command on their shoulders and arms.

A small woman in long brown robes waits to one side, eyes closed either in meditation or sleep, with a half-smile on her face. She has none of Lancaster’s command, but much more peace as she slowly breaths in and out. Her robes are wrapped around her in many folds, like a rose made of fine soft homespun, in soft white with patterns. This is clearly Jedi Master Shoshanna, the instructor for the Cavalier’s mobile temple.

Surrounding Master Shoshonna are two youths, one a girl wearing a purple tunic with her hair in twin braids atop her head, the other a brash-looking lad Corellian pilot clothes including yellow-striped black pants and a vest over a white shirt. The girl seems somewhat shy, while the boy seems... arrogant.

Opposite the Jedi youths is a cadre of adults with a look more like brigands or pirates, armed and armored as if ready to set off bounty hunting. This is one of the teams Lancaster employs, known to be the best of the best, with the best results: Team Alpha, who pilot the ship called The Ulfir.

Leading them is a broad-shouldered man wearing steel armor, a metal facemask and gladiator plate-sleeve, with blasters and some kind of spiked chain at his waist. He needs no introduction, being the bounty-hunter called Kalvan. Next to him is a hulking battle droid with spiked shoulders and skull-shaped mask, several blasters mounted on his body, shoulder and forearm. Off to the side stands a brown-robed Zabrak, the Jedi Knight Mo’Ohn, known to serve alongside Kalvan’s band as the voice of the Jedi. On the other side of the group, next to the giant droid, are two reptilian bounty hunters who are enormous in their own right: Trandoshian brothers given the nick name “head hunter boys”. They hiss and lean in to whisper to one another as the room fills up.

[ooc=Wookies] [ooc] [sblock=Wookies] I believe one or both applicants had a thing about a Trandoshian bounty hunter. THIS IS THAT PERSON!!! Plus their brother. If there’s only one of you (I forget, I’ve been busy), now you’ve got two Trandoshians and at least one of them looks familiar.

You know you can’t act right now, in front of Lancaster, Wookie rage or not. Fighting among the crew is NOT tolerated. However, who knows if those two reptiles will make it personal... [/sblock] [/ooc]

The room fills up with more and more bounty hunters, smugglers, troopers, jedi, droids, aliens, and even a few diplomats. One by one they gain missions from Lancaster and are dismissed. Team Alpha gain a data pad with information, and leave. All but the Jedi look at you dismissively, the Trandoshians even chuckling as they leave. Soon only you and the Jedi are left.

    Lancaster turns to you.

“So, you’re the new recruits. Welcome. You’ll be part of a new initiative, one I’m calling Nova Squad. You’ll divide yourselves into two teams, and each team will take one of our two available transport ships: The Mavrick and the Outrider. Both teams will receive missions and carry them out, but you’ll feel free to mix and match as required for your efforts.”

The hologram in the middle of the hub displays two ships as he mentions them.

    “These are your first missions:

MAGOS: The Jedi Temple world of Magos is experiencing intense storms across its surface. The weather satellites in orbit around it usually keep the skies calm, but a number of them are malfunctioning. These storms are deadly, and any upon the surface caught in one of them will be annihilated by the storm. The temple has, so far, remained untouched but the orbits and atmosphere are moving the storms over the surface towards them. The planet is a desert canyon, void of inhabitants save for the Jedi dwelling there and the wildlife brought with them centuries ago. Its natural state without the satellites is a maelstrom of cutting sand. You must go there and find out what damaged the satellites, and help the Jedi on the planet. Make contact with Jedi Master M’Tiaz on the planet, and make sure they and the younglings are alright.

THE GRAVEYARD: There was once a planet named Alderan, until it was destroyed by a doomsday weapon long ago. The asteroid belt that was the planet still circles the world, and other than a world’s worth of debris and the planet’s moons, it has long been shunned as haunted by the ghosts of that world. Lots of stories about spirits attacking ships, and only the most reckless of pirates and smugglers would dare use it as a base of operations. Sadly, right now that includes two groups. One is a band of pirates led by a mad wookie called Red Claw, who’ve been raiding hyperspace lanes that pass through the system thanks to various distortions. The other is the old hideout of an... associate of the Cavalier, an eccentric technician who is the best in the galaxy... or was. Docket was working on a very important unit of the Cavalier’s computer system, our ship’s interactive AI named JAEN. He’s gone quiet, which is never good; especially when he was going to buy passage on this ship by fixing our AI. Red Claw may have decided to either capture him or kill him, and neither is good for anyone. I need the other team to go into his ASTEROID HIDEOUT and get THE COMPONENT and bring it back here. I need you to do this without getting caught up by Red Claw or killed by the hideout’s defences. If Docket is alive, make sure he stays that way, bring him back here and don’t let him blow himself up. Or yourselves.

    Allyson Solitaire

Allyson takes her seat in the audience chamber. It was good to be out amongst the stars again and old habits die hard. Scanning the room, Allyson can’t help but marvel at the rag tag collection of scum and villainy. This was the new face of heroism?

Continuing her sweep of the room, she locks her eyes on Master Shoshonna for a second. She looks younger than Allyson anticipated, age wasn’t necessarily a factor for attaining the rank of master, but it often helped. Her apprentices seemed interesting pupils as well, one clearly lacked patience, the other lacked confidence. It wasn’t her place to citizen another master’s choice of students... That lead to the sudden realization: where was her apprentice? That little rascal ran off again. Pampy was probably off boosting someone’s wallet. Allyson had told her that theft was unbecoming of Jedi, and that she should only do it when necessary. Which did nothing to dissuade her from doing it anyway. The twi’lek youngling was new at this and had much to learn.

    Twenty-One

A clone trooper enters a few minutes after Allyson, inexplicably tall- standing at around 6"3, it seems to be much taller than usual. It doesn't seem to be stock, as the trooper seems to have a different figure than a regular one would- more 'feminine'. It dons a red-white armband labelled '2148' on its upper-right arm, alongside a sniper rifle attached to its back. The armour has green stripes adorned decoratively over it. The trooper looks around, patiently watching, waiting and listening.

    Rogan Duneklimber

Among the last persons to enter is Rogan, who still is amazed by the size of his new home. The young man takes a moment to look around and watch the holograms. It was not the first time for him to see this technology at work, but certainly this was the biggest - and best - projection he had ever seen. But finally, he shakes his head; he wasn't here to watch some pretty pictures. Rogan steadies himself and moves to the other new recruits, waiting for the briefing. At first, he listens to every word Captain Lancaster and the other officers say, but it does not take very long till his attention moves to his new comrades.

His grey eyes turn to Twenty-One and a small smile shows on his face. Rogan might not be a short man, but still he would need to grow some inches to catch up with this guy. And the equipment this soldier was carrying…No, Rogan was certainly less well equipped. But he liked his own sturdy blaster rifle and his dirty-grey survivor cloak. After a short nod his attention moves again as Rogan watches the other ‘soldiers’ under Captain Lancaster’s command.

Pamp'y'teksa is a pink Twi'lek youngling, somewhere around the equivalent of a human of ten to twelve standard years old. Rather than the traditional padawan robes, (though she'll wear them if pressed), she's dressed in a simple zipped-up vest and shorts, though with her Jedi belt today as well, lightsaber hanging from one side. She's also barefoot, as is usual for her.

Pampy comes running into the briefing room, slipping in past the clone troopers and zig-zagging through the crowd to quickly make her way over to her master. Poy, her little winged reptavian pet, swoops over the heads of the crowd and lands on her shoulder when she arrives at Allyson's side.

Nobody knows what species Poy is, but it looks similar to an Keshiri Uvak, though much smaller. With large wings, long neck and tail and four limbs, the little creature was covered in tiny green scales. Despite its small size, and general friendliness around Pampy, its limbs end in razor sharp claws, and its mouth is equipped with venomous fangs.

D49A-235N enters the room emitting a clanking sound from his carapace. He is an ancient looking droid whose chassis seems to consist of more patches than the original. He has a heavy blaster affixed to each hip. Several modifications seem evident. His optical sensors are of different colors, one red, one gold, his left leg seems to be from a completely different model droid, and he has an emblem of a Krayt Dragon emblazoned on his chest.

He scans every being in the room, noting what biometric information he can easily pick up and searching various spectrum of light for traces of weapons, internally cataloging who has what. He notes the small child who just appeared and calculates her age. Must be Jedi, wouldn't be allowed on the ship at that age otherwise.

As the briefing winds down to the two new squads, he asks Lancaster a question. "So Cap'n, do we decide amongst ourselves who's in what squad and which squad gets which mission?"

    Jharumi Richards

Jharumi enters the room, she kind of ignores the holograms and centers her attention directly at Captain Lancaster; she takes her seat immeiatly afterwards (whichever is closer.) While Jharumi's listening, she takes a look at all other members of the group; in some sort of way she feels like she can trust them (although not with her life, for sure.)

Jharumi is wearing her white tank top, her camo-jeans and her backpack (which she takes off and put it at the floor, right next to her right leg.)

As she hears the mision codenamed as: "THE GRAVEYARD", she immediatly gives it top priority. She understands that the mision is an "in-out" to secure Docket, but her deep hate towards pirates shows up and she states (in form of a question) towards Captain Lancaster.

Are we supposed to do those misions in order? If so, which is first?

She remains quiet for a second before she stands up from her seat, salute the captain and finally continues.

Ace is ready for whatever mision is given, sir.

Then she sits back and wait for her answer, staring at the Captain.

OOC: Hey all! Okay, a couple clarifications

    1) Unless everyone drops out, we've got so many interested players that we'll have two teams. As I like our cadre of people, we'll be all part of the same crew, and we'll all talk on this thread here; and maybe eventually we'll do a massive mission using just this thread. ahem.

However, I'll be creating two "mission threads" for the teams. You only have to worry about your mission, and this thread. So you can either do Storms on Magos or The Graveyard Shift. Pick one, and we'll go from there.

Unless everyone but you folks drop out, at which point I'll run you through either or both missions.

    2) Shoshonna is old. Like, um, OOOOOOOOoooooollld. Think Yoda + Jocasta. She's got the youths next to her, and the original post there were younglings, but I figure I'll have them on Magos (spoiler, but technically obvious, cause Jedi Temple planet of Magos and all). I'll see if I can do some art when I get a minute, or show quick sketches.

Sitting back in his chair, the dark haired Wookiee scans the room with his bright yellow eyes, and takes note of the multitude of lifeforms, both natural and artificial, coming and going. As soon as the last of the veterans makes their way out of the meeting and Captain Lancaster calls his rookies to attention Ark sits forward, still a full head and shoulder height taller than the tallest human present.

He reads both of the missions and he growls in Shyriiwook, "I'll volunteer for the Magos mission, but if anyone thinks my skills would be better used going after the technician then so be it."

These bounty hunters make me nervous.

His thoughts aside, he listens to the mission parameters intently and states "Respectfully sir, I believe I should go on the mission to the graveyard. As a pilot and a clone trooper, I've received a lot of Zero-G training that might come in handy on the asteroids, not to mention the tricky piloting in the asteroid field itself."

There's a squeak from Poy, and Pampy quickly shushes the creature, petting its head. The youngling then turns her attention back to looking around, taking in everybody that's around them.

She looks back up to her master, then, as their mission is chosen, and she speaks up, "They'd have droids on the planet that can fix things, wouldn't they? Bet it's not just a repair job, but something bigger going on."

"I would like to go to Magos. It looks a bit like home..."

He takes a moment to look around the other recruits before speaking again.

"We probably won’t need all of us to do this job, so you" he turns his focus to Allyson "can take one ship and try to save the technician, while we are taking the other ship to find out what causes the malfunctions at Magos and get rid of this problem.

Rogan takes himself another moment to find out how many members the Nova Squad has.

"We should have five people at every team. So we can take one more member to fix the satellites. Who wants to join us?

D49A-235N speaks up again. "I will." It is all he says before he begins trawling through his crowded memory banks trying to think of anything to do with Magos he has ever heard of.

    IC:

Lancaster looks at the team as it sorts itself.

"Magos... should have technicians, yes, but the satellites are usually manned by repair droids. You'll need to find out when you get there what needs to be done. The primary job is to get the Jedi to safety, even if that means picking them up on your ship and waiting out the storms. After that, I suggest then and ONLY then going up to the satellites to see what's wrong. I'll be sending some troopers with you as backup, and some of them are technicians who can change a leaky power coupling. My experience has shown that technical issues can be the least of your problems, and usually are when Jedi are involved."

"The Graveyard will be a challenge, and good of you to volunteer. We'll need the AI part, and I'm hopeful Docket hasn't fallen into Red Claw's hands. That Wookie Pirate has been tearing up the space lanes for years, so don't underestimate him."

    OOC:

I'm listing what's been suggested so far, but feel free to switch teams as desired.

    MAGOS TEAM
    Jedi Master Alyson Solitaire
    Pampy
    Rogan
    D49A-235N (Droid)
    Ark (Wookie)

    GRAVEYARD TEAM
    Jumper
    Jharumi

    STILL WAITING
    Solus
    21
...and I'm not even sure who else is still with us, actually. I hope everyone. (shrugs)

OOC: Any additional questions for Lancaster? I see Magos is overwhelmingly popular! They're both good missions, don't be shy! :D

    Also, I forgot!

    IC:

    THE HOLOGRAM WALLS

When Lancaster discusses the Graveyard, the walls of the room transform into a perfect asteroid field. You can see the asteroids floating around you, towards you, some larger than even a capital ship like the cavalier. One of them zooms closer, and you can see a cunningly-hidden docking port for a ship in a small nook.
When Captain Lancaster discusses Docket, you see a hologram of the technician appear over the middle hub (so not on the walls, but in the RotJ holoprojector in the middle). An Ewok! This one is wearing a suit covered in pockets and gadgets, tools and so forth. His head is bare, shaggy fut in all directions, with a pair of thick goggles around his neck. His eyes look... a little manic, shifty, like an eccentric genius-type.
When he brings up Red Claw pirates, the hologram changes: you see a large, angry-looking transport with turrets mounted to the top, and two fighter starships flanking it. Then the ships vanish, and are replaced by a massive (MASSIVE!) Wookie with warrior shoulder pads and weapons strapped to their back. On the shoulder plates are (you guessed it) the red claw symbol.

When discussing MAGOS the walls change. Instead of a star field, you find yourselves standing in what looks like a vast red desert. There are mountains in the distance, and embedded in the canyon wall of red stone near you is an extremely tall carved surface: the front entrance to the Jedi Temple on Magos.

The central hologram appears as one of the Satellites: a large space station that orbits the planet; now you see a chain of them above a small sphere (Magos). There isn't a clear idea of what's wrong, so when several of them go red, a cloudy mass covers part of the planet, moving across its surface.

The walls of the room mirror this: a giant, scary sandstorm is collecting on the horizon, and coming towards where you're standing. As it washes over you, the image trembles. When the storm is gone, you can see rock formations that were there battered, broken by the storm's violence.

The image vanishes, becoming a serene star field once more.

CLONES: Actually, I think of player characters as... a cut above? So you may be a clone, but you're effectively free agents now. That or you're really high ranking among the crew. Lancaster sees people, and if you're awesome enough he'll give you a place among the "hero squads".

So the teams will command some mook clones... red shirts, basically. But we love our clones. :D

"That's... a big wookiee. Are we to subdue Red Claw if we have the chance, sir?"

Jumper shifts slightly, ready to get going. His mind runs through what he knows of the two ships and which would be better for navigating a asteroid field.

OOC: I figured we were something special, really, but Jumper is ever the modest badass. :P

    Default Jharumi Richards.

    Jharumi Richards.

Ace turns her sight to the clone who just spoke, she then gave a little smile with half of her mouth and nodded, then she turned right to Lancaster.

I agree with Mr. Clone Pilot, trained in Zero-G.
And I also second his question, if we find that wookie-pirate-scum, do we have the permision to "secure" him?
    She turns to Jumper.
May I assume that we own the permision to shot?

    Spoiler: OOC.

Jharumi makes fun of people who actually do things better than her. She also recieved training in Zero-G, but she never shows her skills until needed; also, Jharumi has never been that good at Zero-G, in a way, she respects Jumper for pointing his strengths before the mision.

Turning to Jumper and Ace, ((all speech in Shyriiwook)) I'm going to give you a warning, do go for the kill shot. He won't be too nice if you shoot him and only wound him. They don't call him Red Claw for nothing.

Turning back to his assigned team, Well, I think we should be on our way before that storm makes it impossible to land and rescue the Jedi. Standing, he says. If you need me, I'll be in my quarters gathering my things.

    Allyson Solitaire

Yes, we all should get going as soon as possible. It seems that time is of the essence on both of these missions.”
She then stands and gives a polite bow to the other Jedi master and the Captain Lancaster.

Come along” she says, looking down at Pampy. With that she Glides out of the room.

    Jharumi Richards.

When Allyson lefts the room, Jharumi turns her sight to Jumper, and says: May we be skilled enough to consider ourselves good, but I don't think that this mision can be acomplished by just two of us. She turns to Lancaster, then proceeds: I assume that only both of us, Jumper and I, will go through the mission by ourselves, am I correct? She stands up and walks towards the entrance, showing her back to the remaining members of the crew inside the room. When she reaches the door, she opens it...
    Spoiler: OOC.

I assume that the door was closed automaticaly when Allyson left.

...and turns only her sight to Jumper.

I, too, shall prepare myself for the mision. I will meet you at the Hangar, Mr. J.

Jharumi went straight to her chambers to put on her mandalorian-clone suit armor.

Pampy stands up, and after a split second of hesitation imitates her master's bow, causing the little reptavian on her shoulder to squeak in protest at the disruption of its perch, flapping into the air. Pampy looks up at it and says something in Ryl, then turns to hurry after Allyson. The creature circles in the air once, then swoops after the youngling.

Jumper stares after Jharumi as she leaves, saying only "If everything goes according to plan, I'm sure you could handle this mission by yourself."

But nothing is ever that simple.

Rogan imitates the clones salute toward the captain, than leaves the briefing room to grab his gear and refill his water bottle, than he heads toward the hangar to meet the other team members.
