More posts = higher rankings, but don't post just to increase your ranks.

As a side note, posts in message board games and its subforums do not affect your title, and are not counted in total plst counts.

The titles are a simple way to add a bit of flavor to the board in a non-invasive way. Also, they have no bearing on how people should be treated. Further reading here.

I first need to mention that they are titles, not ranks or rankings. The forum software even calls them titles, not ranks or rankings, and has a different option for ranks. We use the titles to give the forums a little flair, a theme which matches the general focus of the board.

They are linked to post count, because that is the only real way we can do it, which means that they will change as you post. But, as mentioned, behaviour intended to increase your post count is highly frowned upon, and will result in punitive measures. So please, just enjoy them for what they are.
