Let me ask you an honest question.

Why is there no search function on the computer client, but there IS one on the phone client?

I went to look up John Carpenter's the Thing, because I want to give horror another chance to make me not hate it this halloween, and discovered that the computer version of iTunes has no search function. WHY?! It can't be because iTunes is too terrible to have a search function, because you have the function on your service already!

I honestly don't know what you're talking about. iTunes has search functions.

I know, that's what so baffling about it. My phone can search iTunes, which means they HAVE a search function, but the client on my desktop doesn't. There's nowhere to enter 'The Thing' to find a video on the store or anything like that.

And that's why I'm baffled. It's there, I use the desktop client, it has search functions. I don't know why you're saying it doesn't. I search the store frequently, and sometimes my own library, or what's installed on devices, etc.

Part of our family's tradition for everyone's birthday is that we go to a nice restaurant of their choice for dinner (or lunch, in mom's case - always that seafood place, ugh). Bro's is on Thursday, but he doesn't want to go without me, so Mom told me we were going out to dinner tomorrow.

One problem: I already had a critique group thing I couldn't reschedule. I told Mom about this a week ago, and she apparently completely forgot... except I told her about it again TODAY when she brought up something else I have to do for my brother tomorrow that no one will explain but apparently involves driving him to the car dealership. And since Dad's away this weekend, that means we have to push the dinner back to next Friday.

As in November 7th.

So now I feel like an ass even though this isn't my fault.

And then they wonder why I complain that nobody in the house tells me ANYTHING. THIS IS PRECISELY WHY - YOU don't listen when I tell YOU what I'm doing, so I have to work my schedule around YOU, but you DON'T TELL ME THAT EITHER

I'm pleased because French Bread today turned out well without an egg wash and without taking the time to form the loaves into epi, ficelle, or parisienne baguette shapes. Turns out french bread is still OK if you use loaf pans or a small casserole.

Was fun listening to it snap crackle and pop while cooling though. :3

Less pleased as I suspect that instead of pita I'm just making not that thin tortillas...

On the plus side I found out how to make tea easily so I can have some nice vanilla and caramel tea after words. And then pour vanilla creamer in it to get rid of the fact that at the end of the day it's just hot water.
