OoC 47: Putting the K in Chaos

Alright, so, in Seaside, I have a fleet of Spanish Conquistadors from the year 1528. They're a heavily militarized group of Inquisitors and Conquistadors that were sailing to the New World, but along the way a terrible whirlpool formed and sucked the entirety of the fleet, eleven galleons, into the depths. This whirlpool led them into the Nexus, however two vessels were destroyed. Along the way, bizarre powers over fire were gained by many of the crewmembers, which of course gave them the idea that God had gifted them great power, a clear sign that they were to explore and conquer this New World! So, now, they're at the beach.

In case anyone wanted to send someone.

For now, a team of scouts controlled half and half by Aric and I will be sent into the jungle, while the others set up camps. Shadowcaller will be playing as things that we will find in the Jungle the first night!

Well, if anyone wants to try their hand at having a PC/npc mutated or experimented on and gaining powers in the process, or just some pirate shenanigans, Effigies is seaside. The more fun and unique, the more interested he'll be.

Though if said character is a demon, they'll probably be hammered into a weapon or melted down for vitriol.

It sounds like SC is going to be running the standard adult-oriented Halloween party over at the SHEOL offices. I was originally going to be throwing one at Trog's due to Magtok's present IC doom, but I decided it would be better not to overlap with what SC is doing. To that end, I'm going to be running the more traditionally kid oriented sorta party Inside. That means trick or treating, games, cake walks, and the like.

So if you've got any young PCs (or PCs that are young at heart) feel free to join in the fun =D

Hey people, I just made the new Home thread, and I was wondering if anyone wanted to add locations that have been around a while to its OP, since it seems like it's been pretty stagnant for a long time (For example, Rot has been absent for quite a long time and the Crimson Tempest is still on it.) I'm not sure if I want to cut anyone's inactive location from the OP, though if I do I'll save a copy of the description to a document so that it can be put back if they spring from the ether, but I definitely think that meta-location OPs could stand for a bit of updating.

PM me, talk about it here or in the Nexuschat, whatever you like. I know that a lot of people have asked me about Zaff's, and I don't know if I can do anything with that thread yet, in terms of either big plots or administration duties, as I'm still easing myself back into posting with a few scenes to test the waters. If anyone wants to play an administrator/teacher/janitor/massive doomplot in Zaff's, go right ahead. It should be considered as a magical college that anyone can have their youngish, heroic and possibly even magical characters fool around and have stuff happen to in. Anyone can take up the mantle of running parts of it, so long as their ideas don't explicitly say "no" to the RP of others. It's mutable enough that there are no defined rules beyond what I have to make up on the spot when inquired about it.
