@Orcus
Your punning skills are monumental.
But I think you are in denile about their effectiveness at true humor. Surely this altitude shall be corrected!Hi! I'm a Girl At A Desk. I like DnD and Path of Exile a lot.

Re: Civ 5 Giant mutliplayer robot thread 10
Orcus, no. I'm implying you're TRYING TOO HARD. You're making all of your puns devilishly obvious, and you're not giving our spectators enough credit. Making it obvious that you're pulling my chain is quite easy. Weaving SUBTLE puns that fit a theme into the bare bones of an argument is legions harder, but if you can pull it off more eruditely, then you might get more cheers from the orchestra pit and the Peanut Gallery.

Article 001: @Orcus: Wait, did you catch all the puns in that statement, or not?
Article 002: Oops, I only have six whales. The other was a fish. Still, with my UTI, that still probably will amount to seven.
Article 003: Scoreboard!
1: Carpe, Dodger, and Driderman tied for 27 points.
2: GAAD and Snark tied for 24 points
3: Orcus for 23 points
4: Illven for 22 points.
Article 004: @Illven: So how exactly was a turn that landed you at the bottom of the scoreboard SUCCESSFUL?!?
Article 005: Turn 10 Update
Our initial company of warriors has come across a small trapping town to the south. They call themselves Tyre, and after smiting a certain vampire terrorizing them, the warriors generously received a tithe from the city. Apparently, we are no longer welcome in their borders, however. Something about "muhrdoor".
Our second company has located an area not far from Azure City rife with marine life and rich food. We have dubbed this land the Robinsegg Peninsula.

Article 006: I apologise for both my delayed turn and the lower screenshot quality of this update; I was forced to perform my turn on a different computer.
Article 007: IC: "And lo, the dark clouds for a moment became as inky blackness upon the horizon, and it seemed as the sky fell. Our people, however, were saved, that they might die another day. As the moon was raked by the swarm of evil, a mighty hero, with both eye and finger of gold, stepped up onto the roof of the Palace of Voices and shot an arrow directly at the north star. And lo and behold, we lived, and let the darkness die. Such is the power of the Queen. Such is the power of Mr. Scruffy. Such is the power of the Grand Azurite Advisor Dude." -the GAAD IIHi! Re: Civ 5 Giant mutliplayer robot thread 10
@Illven: That's fine. I think everything will be all right if you set it to Vacation Mode.
but this'll wreak HAVOK with my average turn time!
Anyway, Firaxis just released a patch, which changed some of the Social Policies. Will this alter an in-progress game like this, or will we have to worry about changing our metagame?Hi! I'm a Girl At A Desk. I like DnD and Path of Exile a lot.

@Illven: First, make sure that on the tab for the game, it says "My Vacation Allowed" near the bottom.
If it says "My vacation not allowed" click it to allow vacation mode.
To toggle it, click on your icon on the upper right hand corner. You will see a prompt to enter vacation mode below it.Hi! I'm a Girl At A Desk. I like DnD and Path of Exile a lot.

Re: Civ 5 Giant mutliplayer robot thread 10
Welp. It DID affect our game. Tradition just got nerfed, and Piety just got buffed. So... sorry for those people with less than 2 policies, because this:
is just for those who beelined Legalism. Now I don't have to worry about picking up a more or less useless policy, so my strategy WAS unchanged. In effect, everybody ELSE's Tradition got nerfed.
Pros: Boasting. Cons: Stat spoilers. Yeah, that screenshot was NO CONTESTHi! I'm a Girl At A Desk. I like DnD and Path of Exile a lot.
