    Default OotS: historical basis?

Archaeologists find 6,000-year-old temple in Ukraine

    Ornaments and figurines

Fragments of figurines, some of which look similar to humans, were also found at the temple. Like findings at other Trypillian sites, some of the figurines have noses that look like beaks and eyes that are dissimilar, one being slightly larger than the other.

Proof that Rich will invent time travel through art.
“Evil is evil. Lesser, greater, middling, it's all the same. Proportions are negotiated, boundaries blurred. I'm not a pious hermit, I haven't done only good in my life. But if I'm to choose between one evil and another, then I prefer not to choose at all.”

Unfortunately, the very sentence you provide as evidence for your theory provides equally strong evidence that was OOTS was not involved..

Kerbals from KSP also have asymmetric eyes, but no noses.

To be fair, humans may have once possessed noses, which would explain the odd hole in the middle of a human's skull, close to where a cat's nose would be. So it's at least possible noses were chronologically accurate in this instance....

I never noticed that hole in the skull. Thanks for pointing it out!
