How do confessions work? I mean can you only confess once or can you do one confession of each type, or one confession based on each menace so that if you do the POSI confessions you only can do 2 but if you do the normal you can do 4?

Got myself a destiny, some interesting things about a Mountain, and Light, and Death. Also +5 Watchful, which is always nice. Is that good for a destiny?

Trying to figure out what story to pursue at the moment. The Black Ribbon ones seem interesting but kind of grindy, as do the jobs for Mr Inch. The Cave of the Nadir seems interesting, but also like a super long project. How does the university work? I've been through the term a couple of times, but haven't managed to try all the options. Is it worth repeating until I do, or should I start with founding a department?

As far as I'm aware, most none-nex destinies give you a +5. Personally, I splashed out on The Road when visiting Mutton Island, and the story text was well worth it...

When last I checked, fate-locked content wasn't to be discussed in public, and anyone who wanted to do so took it to PMs. That was a couple years ago though, so the policy might've changed.

Hrm... I can't get enough Making Waves to increase my Notability, even though last week I got invited to dinner (sure it increases the host's more than the guest's, but still) and used the A Rather Decadent Evening card twice.

If you can get your Persuasive high enough for it A Polite Invitation is great for Making Waves (one time through gets about ~25 iirc where what you're describing gets 10-25 depending upon scandal). Also making some items can give a fair bit of making waves.

If you have low making waves you could also use the options from Attract a Visitor at Hallowmas to gain both them and nightmares.

Is there a scandal raising item other than the bonnet and stockings? Both equipped allow you to make confessions of impropriety with just 1 "natural" level of scandal. One more would remove the requirement entirely...

I drank some blackwing willow absinth.

Also, other people could rat you up if your wounds are less than 3, or poison you, if greater (although that too is costly).

EDIT: I drew a give a gift card, so could rat up someone who wants some wounds.

I just have been getting my scandal up acquiring hunters to help against the big rat. i.e. anyone want some scandalous confessions I'm willing (also getting scandal 3 is easy since putting on the bonnet or leggings with Scandal 0 gives you Scandal 1 when you take them off and then you just put them both back on).
