What resources do you use to live in your setting?Yeah... well... now his body's fine, but his mind is gone.

Re: Setting question
I homebrew all of mine. I make things up on the fly mostly. I draw from archetypes, and try to invert them. Try to inject some humor. That super powerful necromancer you just fought, was a gnome on stilts.

Re: Setting question
Homebrewed. I get a concept (WWI in a high fantasy world transitioning into steampunk! Zombie Apocalypse in a desertpunk world! Western in a magicpunk world!) and just run with it throughout the game. All have a serious side, an awesome side, and an hilarious side ("What are you carrying in that coffin?" "My mother-in-law." "Carry on.")

Re: Setting question
3rd party world chassis (War of the Burning Sky) with a healthy dose of homebrew.

It's a 3rd party Campaign thingy. A lot of 3rd party things can be found on DrivethruRPG if you have the patience to dig through their wonky filters.

As for your OP, I also do homebrew, my mega project as of late is an Archipelago High Fantasy land with a dash of Steampunk. The Crystal Isles.
I've made it so it can be extremely flexible due to the native population being split into 5 tribes each with their own primary skill/profession.
