    Your group meets up at the Crossbones Tavern, you eat(or you don't), if you do the meal cost 6cp. You might discuss various stories of your work in the Temple Knights, or other small talk. Everyone finally meets outside with any equipment that they may have bought. (say now if you actually went and bought anything)

    Alright, all five members gather outside the Crossbones inn and start heading west. From your rough estimates, the caravan should be an hour away if you do not pursue any further

    "A possibitity? Well, if you can say it with a straight face. The traders have no reason to go on into an ambush. I'd wager that it'd look better if we could nip the ambush in the bud and prevent the traders from knowing they were even in danger. Maybe find the ambushers before the traders get here."

    (OOC: What time of year is it, what's the weather like, what are the other major features of the area (or is there a detailed map available), what time does it get dark, and how much leeway do we have when describing the surroundings?)

    season: Spring
    weather: Partly Cloudy, due to the trees and clouds there isn't too much light on the path, but there is enough
    description of the area: a fairly clear and level path that has small bends in the road with various forest life on each side, for about 1/4 mile outside the city there is no heavy vegetation. You may have appropriate leeway (ie: don't say you hide up in the top of the redwood tree which doesnt exist there)

    In the wooded area you find a small encampment that seems to have been abandoned long ago by the looks of it, but upon closer inspection you notice a couple embers of the fire still lingering.

    Joanna you hear some shuffleing in the bushes in the direction of the trail, they seem to getting further away.

    Draga- you see a slight flash of movement heading towards the trail

    Arafin you also hear what Joanna hears, but it seems much closer to you than her.

    Aroneth as you are looking around on the path you notice a few figures running through the trees and they suddenly stop, hiding themselves in the overgrowth.
