"That's... Argh. Yeah, you sound familiar, I guess? But no, I don't remember. Where'd we meet again?" She fidgets nervously with her her cloak, glancing around a bit as though looking for a way out.

Grant's eyes narrow, the blue glow in his eyes flashing suspiciously.

There's no way you forgot that. Though really, Grant is the type not to forget when the pretty Drow girl naked ambushes him at the pool.

In a spur of inspiration Grant draws in an unnoticeable short breath through his nose, searching for traces of magic.

Maybe we should drag someone else into this who is good at open sandboxes, because neither of us are.

Leli's magic... Doesn't really smell like her at all; there's the curse on her scars there, yes, but other than that it's a new scent. Depending on how it works it might seem like a close relative of her, though, or it might be like a complete stranger; it depends on whether or not it being her sister would make the scent seem more similar or not, and how important the reversed traces of divine magic (Llolth being primary and Eilistraee secondary now) are.

"You first; who's asking?" She glares at him defensively, taking a few steps back, and laying a hand on the hilt of her rapier. "And what makes you think she's not right here?"

"Depends how you mean. Share her memories, some. Have her body. Her soul's in me somewhere just like mine was locked in her for a while. Sounds pretty similar, doesn't it?" She's wary, staying back and obviously ready to draw her blade if she needs to, but not overtly hostile - she doesn't seem like she wants to fight him.

"Don't know. So near as we can tell she didn't see, and I just woke up in her body." Llolfaen relaxes a bit, though she's still cautious, staying as far back as she can; she doesn't particularly trust this demon-slayer, whoever he is. "Someone shot her in the head then cut her throat, but that's the extent of what we know."

Into the grotto (of doom!)

The grotto itself appears to be little more than your average limestone cave, its mouth created when a massive tree fell over, its roots ripping open the cavern and allowing various awful things to take up residence within. The stark white stone is quite the contrast to the black... well... everything that grows over much of the forest.

That's what you get when you have spooky gloom forests like this one.

Black everything.

Except those softly glowing green mushrooms jutting out of the side of the fallen tree. Those are pretty not-black.

Anywho!

The walls of the grotto glisten with innumerable tiny calcite crystals, giving the place a rather pleasant sparkle under the soothing lamp light. Before long the grotto's path splits, one going uphill along with the stream they've been following and the other descending deeper into the depths.

"Bobbie?" Seems Llolfaen has forgotten her too. Though there's the same spark of recognition that she had for Grant; the memories are faded and impossible to access fully, but she can sense they're there, at least.

Midnight Park

Axanot will try to take a lamp back from Sharpe. Whether she succeeds, she bounces down the unusually white cave. Finally, some white after all that black. When she reaches the fallen tree, she stops to admire the mushrooms. She considers plucking them, but decides against it. Mostly because Sharpe won't like it.

Axanot jumps up and down on the spot before leaping over the trunk, knocking a few green mushrooms off in the process. She doesn't notice it, instead turning around to wave at Sharpe.

Then, the forked road. To her, the answer is obvious. 'This is where all the fun stuff is, isn't it?' Axanot says as she points down the descending depths of the cave with her left hand, getting her axe ready before continuing that way.

While she walks, she slows down to cast buffing spells, mumbling incoherent words and surrounding herself with a multitude of magic auras that come and go.

Sharpe chuckles as his girlfriend bounces down, then follows her, a skip in his step. A romantic adventure spent hunting creatures of the night, in a white cave. Heh, good times.

When they get to the mushrooms, Sharpe almost sighs and tells her to take it, when she doesn't. Good girl! Sharpe smiles. Sharpe investigates the calcite crystals and touches them. He decides he wants some... but not now. Turning back to Axanot, he sees her waving and waves back. He levitates over the trunk and lands on the other side.

"Surprised you didn't pick the mushrooms. Won't the nightgaunts be hungry?" He teases just as they happen upon the forked road. Appearances can be decieving, but it wouldn't hurt much to check the stream. There might be some hidden-- ah, we're not in the game world anymore. "After you, babe." He gets his lantern ready in his right hand and catches up to Axanot, touching her back, especially the area of the dagger rune. They both glow. "Buff ability. Some 'slight' damage sharing as a trade-off." Sharpe removes his hat and stuffs it into his hammerspace pouches. His raven black hair glistens in the light as he runs a hand through his hair.

He drops his hands and his palms glow. Axanot should hear faint faux latin chanting ((Bunkus! Nonsuch! Gibberos! Gobbleygoos!))

If it is dark, well, Sharpe has good nightvision.

Grant in a brief moment of inspiration bites his thumb, drawing bright red blood that has a slight air bluish aura to it much like his eyes and holds it above his head.

Time to call in a professional.

"A... Wait, what?" Llolfaen jumps back, half-drawing her sword in surprise and fear as Grant starts to do something magical, though she's not actually attacking at least.

There is a bright flash and the silhouette is a beautifully built humanoid woman of some description. It slowly solidifies and it lands, butt first on Grant's head.

AGH! Bobbie! Why??

There is a feindishly catchy giggle and Bobbie, and the dark haired thorn in Grant's side dusts herself off.

Cause it's funny of course!

"...yeah, that's you. Um. Hi." Llolfaen sounds like she'd blush if she could, sheathing her sword. "I... Yeah. I remember you but you don't exactly remember me, and it's weird, and... Sorry." She takes a half-step towards Bobbie, like she wants to hug her, then falters.

LOST DEMON VIKING WHAT?!

Lelli finally catches Bobbie's eye and with her traditional squee of delight, the supernaturally strong demon girl point blank tackle hugs her friend.

Something Lelli said may or may not have registered with Bobbie as she was busy harassing Grant.

"Eep!" Llolfaen squeaks in surprise, quite possibly toppling over, unless Bobbie does something to prevent it. Though the revenant doesn't seem to be upset; quite the opposite, in fact - she eagerly returns the hug, though the demoness might notice she's surprisingly cold to the touch now, regardless of what else she may have ignored.

Bobbie does tilt her head to the side inquisitively as she catches herself and Lelli before toppling over.

"'M not Lelli..." She sounds, well. Highly put out about that, honestly; she was hoping that that was just how Bobbie greeted people in general. "I'm her sister. Sorta. Undead in her body..."

To be fair Bobbie does tend to greet people in this fashion.

She also doesn't seem too freaked, more then that her eyes well up with tears on hearing "body" and "undead." If anything she grips Lelli's sister harder.

"Some assassin. Left her as a message for Carrie. I woke up in the body. Got some'v her memories. Some of her in me more than that. 'S weird." She sighs softly, leaning into Bobbie's arms and relaxing a bit. "Same way I was in her, kinda. I remember you too. From the same times."

"You're sorta hard to forget... 'Specially the hugs. And the... You-ness in general." Llolfaen shrugs a bit, gently rubbing Bobbie's back and resting her head on the demon's shoulder. "Wanna do anything, I guess, then? Since... I do need friends too and all. And you're nice, from what I remember..."
