Re: The Ultimate Linear Guild Tournament: matches 13-15

Re: The Ultimate Linear Guild Tournament: matches 13-15
Wait, you're also adding MORE linear guild members after the original round of voting has ended? Why? Did they get a bye or something?
I'm really not understanding the logic behind this tournament.

Re: The Ultimate Linear Guild Tournament: matches 13-15
I can't see Tarquin or Malack coming out of this tournament without trouncing the competition, especially since they haven't been involved at all yet. I mean, Tarquin was in the top 3 for the Favourite Character Tournament, as I recall. Maybe even number two.

Re: The Ultimate Linear Guild Tournament: matches 13-15
Thog-Not exceptionally difficult.
Zz'dtri-quintessential drow beats reptilian Iņigo Montoya.
Yikyik-Kobold. Nothing more.Where's what's-her-name, the chick with the pigtails?
Jirix: Tsukiko? She was here when the sewer team reported in...
Anyone seen her since?
Jirix: No.
No.
Demon Roaches: No. Nope.
Not since I brutally murdered her ten minutes ago, no.

Re: The Ultimate Linear Guild Tournament: matches 13-15
...that's the best answer possible to that question. I love it.
But now, the tournament has to feature gratuitous rocket skates for me to feel satisfied.
Yes, if Nale was the commissioner. The head of the player's union would probably have an anvil fall on his head.Last edited by Bird; 2015-02-13 at 11:09 AM.

Re: The Ultimate Linear Guild Tournament: matches 13-15
The first post does say:
If, during the Elimination Phase, there is a tie for last place, the tied contestants will enter a Tiebreaking Round. The Tiebreaking Round includes everyone who is tied for last place, along with the wildcard partial Linear Guilders Yakyak (what kind of a stupid name is 'Yakyak' anyways?) and Ysometimesykysometimesyk (who is actually the MitD polymorphed into the form of a kobold). However, Yakyak and Ysometimesykysometimesyk are not actually eligible for advancement, due to not being True Linear Guilders. They are just there to shake up the Tiebreaking Round.
The true inner workings of the Tiebreaking Round are a far more interesting game than the other rou--
game?
No, no, not a literal game, it's just a--
that's okay, thog too hungry for sprinkles to play game
Well, I was going to monologue the rest of the evil tournament procedure right here, but I have to go to get sprinkles before anyone accuses me of mixing different strips together.
