Re: Trogland IX: Are you a bad wolf too?
It was great meeting you, Chambers. Lucky that you found my post about coming here in the IRL thread and asked about it.
Everything in the conference room at the hotel has now been cleared away, and all have retired back home or to the hotel rooms for a well deserved sleep.
I should have done this a long time ago. I want to do it again next year.

Re: Trogland IX: Are you a bad wolf too?
It was lots of fun and was good to see everyone, whether it's the regulars, people who haven't been for awhile, or newcomers. Thanks to the everyone behind running everything.
I would also just like to check whether or not the event pint glasses are dishwasher safe.
Photos will be forthcoming sometime soon. Thanks to Elrond for the Vash avatar.

Re: Trogland IX: Are you a bad wolf too?
Made it home to a tornado warning across the river in MO and a tornado watch in IL. My kind of weather.
I had a good time, especially with playing some good D&D.
If I seemed a bit distant or unsocial, it wasn't because of anyone, it's just me and social situations.
LLama, thanks for all the rescues.
Enjoyed meeting everyone old (I've met before) and the new (just met).
Krade, thanks for the room share, see you at GenCon.
Now, I'm home and mobbed by my pets.Last edited by wxdruid; 2015-06-29 at 03:53 PM.

Photos are up on the Bookface!
Mauve - I don't recall seeing any extras lying around... ...did anyone else find it? They were all snapped up pretty fast, but I'm sure one of us can find one for you next year in any case...

Re: Trogland IX: Are you a bad wolf too?
I'm torn about all those pictures...
On one hand, they're awesome and show off Trogland wonderfully...
On the other, they remind me that I wasn't there.

I'd like to thank the committee for their usual top class planning.
and The De's for putting up with a brit staying with them.
I could separate this out to individual shout-outs but you all know how cool you are and frankly I did that last time.
I hope you all enjoyed the Britishness of Pimms and the sweets.
until next time guys/gals.

Re: Trogland IX: Are you a bad wolf too?
I just want to thank everyone for all that they did to make this year a success. I don't just mean the staff, but seriously, they did A LOT, but also every attendee. Due to numerous factors this year was rough to organize and things suffered a bit. We didn't have the excess funds for the giveaway and poor Reinholdt's birthday didn't get the attention it deserves but, nobody complained! Everyone focused on the positive and we had so much positive! I just love that about all of you!! You're all so fun to have around.
I want to thank everyone who played and gave feed back for Munchkins of the Multiverse. I've passed the results along to other M.I.B.s in Steve Jackson't organization!
I finally got to experience the greatness that was Dead of Winter and got to learn lots about Dark Gothic. I think I played something else new, but I can't remember what it was now.
Overall, I just want to reiterate how much it means to me that you all are so wonderful to host a convention for!inner circle Legionary of Resiliance
I love my Ceikatars!

There was no singing. And people only got to celebrate by being sent to the hospital.
It got exactly the amount of attention it deserved.Last edited by Reinholdt; 2015-07-07 at 11:54 PM.

Re: Trogland IX: Are you a bad wolf too?
I said it while I was still there, and I'll say it again. I thought the Trogland meet/convention was great, and I'm so hapy I finally made it across the pond. I wish I'd have been able to do it sooner, and now I want to start saving to go back next year, even if it might not be possible.
The Munchkins of the Multiverse game was great, and when the post-midnight rule came into effect where we could spoil things for the players in the other game, that just brought another level of awesome to the proceedings. Being able to screw with someone not even in your own game was great.
I will let you know how things turn out when we try it at my local game shop. I'll also try to introduce it to another game shop a little further away, as I think they'll like it there as well.
Dead of Winter is great, isn't it? I'm kind of sad I didn't get to play it, but I was tied up with something else at that time, or I'd have definitely joined.
Did you try It's Alive!? I can't remember who were i that game. I think the Turtle, Mauvey and the hippie were in it, but can't remember who the fifth was. If It's Alive! hadn't been out of print and not at all available to get hold of anymore, I'd have left my copy there for others to get to play, because it's a great little game that doesn't take too long to play.
YOU GUYS ARE ALL AWESOME AND I WANT TO COME BACK! CAN WE DO IT AGAIN TOMORROW?
PS. mountain_faerie and I totally kicked butt in the 'Time's Up!' game, even if we may not have won.

Re: Trogland IX: Are you a bad wolf too?
I ate the bag of Sourpatch Kids Lex gave me while I was hanging out at the beach yesterday, and thus my last part of Trogland has been consumed.
I'm not sure I'll make it again next year - still planning on Disney with a friend in November, and I've kind of promised to make it out to Germany?
Whoops.
But we'll see.
I was glad to see everyone and go shopping with Llama
it was a good year, I think.
