Well, I liked the chapter. It felt like quite a bit happened for once. Or maybe I just spent my time looking for it. That people got offed offscreen is pretty meh, but sped things up. Also, not a big fan of the sniper dude sniping Gotei 13. I guess it'll make the big fights less crowded though.

Not going to get mad at the guy for being happy Giselle is dead. My like of her really only extends to the fact that she is representative of everything ****ed up about Kubo. Even in death she's face down in the dirt, ass up, tongue hanging out her mouth.

I still like her, and it's sad to see we won't have her around any more (I was thinking if the Quincy's became good guys she'd get along well with Orohime's rapist friend).

Yeah it works, especially for her character since she's the "loli that says dirty ****/swears a lot" archetype. Though I think she's the best version of that archetype that Kubo has done (I ****ing hate Ruruka, the dollhouse chick).

It's the obligatory congrats-you-are-important-enough-for-me-to-merit-a-flashback death, which seems alright in this case since Bazz is already one of the most fleshed out non-elite quincy. Of course, I use the term "fleshed out" very loosely in this case, because this is a Kubo Tite character.

Why are people acting like losing a limb is a life threatening injury in Bleach? Only reason the Head Captain didn't get his arm fixed up was stubborn pride. And Mayuri seemed to paralyze Kenpachi, not kill him.
