It's fairly obvious Naku would really rather him not. And with the way she's holding the platter, it would be pretty hard to try to get her hands off of it. So that doesn't happen.



"A, Anyway." Naku says, reaching up to brush a stubborn bit of hair back behind her ear. "Is there anything else I can do for you two?"

Hmm... I guess maybe conversation if it wouldn't be too much of a hindrance? I'm new here. Well, more long gone for a decade and a half and only returning a week ago, but semantics.

"Of course! It's quiet right now, and I've got plenty of time. Though if another customer arrives, I'll need to go see to them." Naku says, pulling over a chair, and sitting down herself. "What would you like to talk about?" She asks, smiling at Alexis.

Sharpe shakes his head. "Friendly greeting, milady." He bows, then leaves in a hurry.

"Of course! It's quiet right now, and I've got plenty of time. Though if another customer arrives, I'll need to go see to them." Naku says, pulling over a chair, and sitting down herself. "What would you like to talk about?" She asks, smiling at Alexis.

I'm interested in the general state of things and current events right now, honestly. I know of all the factions and cities, but not so much about what the Nexus is like right now.

I'm joking. Never understood why apparently people who work at inns and bars et cetera are rumor mills.
I'm mainly curious on how HALO and WATCHTOWER are currently, as well as how Inside itself is right now.
The joking remark is possible to come after any indignant remarks or actual rumors, by the way.

"I would suggest colored contact lenses, then. There are only a few people that I know of with pink eyes, and Civvy's not a mother." Naku suggests. "And maybe dying your hair and ear colors. Hmmmm." Naku frowns in thought, head tilting slightly. "I'll vouch for purple." She says with a grin.

Agreed. However, I feel that it's often overlooked that to conceal your form doesn't necessarily mean you're concealing yourself. It doesn't always inhibit your personality, who you are, as well.
Honestly, I think my actions are more a display of personality than anything else; I'm willing to conceal my form to prevent judgement upon me to be altered by heritage, to try and have others judge not upon appearance but upon my traits

The tedious motion of the tavern doors recites a rehearsed verse, creaking as a new patron enters.
A sillouet stands in the doorway looking back to the road from where it came, waving a hand, motioning for someone outside to follow.
Patience however was not this strangers strong suit.
His bare feet and child frame give to only a soft thudding on the floor as he hastily and purposefully makes his way to the counter.

The child, or young man, looks to be around 15, adorned in simple yet tattered tight tan clothing he is covered in an array of dirt, scratches and light injuries. Despite his ill savage-like appearance he bounces along the room clearly holding himself with a sense of pride and happiness.

When he reaches the bar he looks upon the menu with a large smile as he eagerly places his seemingly only possession on the table.
Tied around his waistline a piece of rope acted as a belt and a sling holding a 3 eye-socketed skull.

As he places it onto the table a small array of odd coins spill out briefly rolling around the table before him before coming to a complete stop.
He runs a hand through his wild matted dark hair seemingly concentrating on the coins before finally giving up and bursting out with another smile and excitedly announcing.

"As much food an' drink as that can get me please!"

He calls out to the nearest waiter, his voice is louder then necessary but not a shout, his words are soft and polite and his stomach loudly grumbles agreeing with his request.
He looks back to the entrance door, waiting.

Arlen's companion enters after a few moments spent outside gazing upwards at... Well, it doesn't take much to distract a three-week-old dryad on her first visit to a city, even if she does look seventeen or so.

She's built like an elf, slender and graceful, with greyish skin and long, green ash leaves for hair. She's wearing a pale green dress of thin fabric, ending halfway up her thigh, and on her back is a basket of woven reeds. "Sorry Arlen, there was this huge white bird. It was really high up- it was gliding amongst the clouds without moving its wings." Veggmaleri isn't very familiar with aeroplanes.
