Hi All!

I've been lurking for a loooong time and have decided I should at least introduce myself. It's been a few months since playing and before that, 10 years or so had gone by. I really want to get into it again. Alas, being a father of two, a university student, and working full time (and then some) makes play time very difficult to find. Still, every question I've had has been asked and answered in the Playground. Thanks for that!

Most recently, I've been playing a 3.5 game as a Gnome Transmuter with fellow new Playgrounder, Valcor (pg 30). And now I know why he insisted on having so many Insectbane Candles and Antitoxin for our last game.

Hello! Long time reader of these forums, first time member/poster/etc etc. I'm Ben Schiffler, a Game Designer from Seattle, recent graduate. Hello everyone!

I'm new and I was drawn here because of the beautiful, vibrant, and clearly very active PbP section of these forums. My plan is to lurk/semi-post for a few weeks to learn the ropes and etiquette, but as soon as I do, I want to find a game to join. I don't care about the system, or the setting... I just want to roleplay.

I also want to know what the forum rules say about quoting movies, books, etc in my signature. They are very specific about copyrighted images - do they apply identically to text? I'd rather not create a rule-violating signature on my first day...
