Hi there! I've been a tabletop gamer for about as long as I can remember. Going back to grade school. I read oots way back when, but never realised there was a forum attached. I found out from a podcast that recommended it.

Good morning! I've been roleplaying for the most part of my life and since it's been enough time without play by post I decided to join... should I mention that I always search on this site when I need to find something? ALWAYS.

So.... This is an intro huh... God I suck at these.

I guess I'll start with saying I've been a huge fan of OOTS for a while, but I really joined because I've been starving for a tabletop fix. Or just general interaction with the tabletop community. I have a perpetually work in progress campaign setting that I should really be getting feedback on, and I imagine I might find ideas and inspiration among a pretty active homebrew community.

I've played extensively with 3.5 and PF, i've dabbled in 5e, and I was one of the few people in my experience who actually LIKED 4e. I've also dabbled with a lot more freeform systems thanks to friends, lately. Fate accelerated, Blades in the dark, Masks, Masters of Uumdar...

Hello, I've been following order of the stick since somewhere in the first book, but haven't been in the forums yet, or maybe I did, and haven't used the account forever.

I'm an army nurse who will be deploying in a month, but in the past year, I finally got the opportunity to play role-playing games, A little 4e with some friends. So then I backed the Planet Mercenary RPG, and am excited to play it, but I'll need to find people online to play it with.

Hello everyone,

I have been playing tabletop RPG's on and off pretty much for my entire life, I have recently become more interested in them, about three years ago, and have tried starting games with local friends. This typically fell through :( and now all of us being older and have responsibilities rarely have time to gather and play in person. As a result, I am interested in trying PbP and have stumbled across this forum in my search. I completely new to this style of play, however I hope that I can quickly find my way around.

In the absence of playing tabletop games, I have forgotten the rules of D&D, I mostly played 3.5 and now typically play AFMBE,(considering start a game of "Flesh" soon) and am currently learning GURPS, as it is my younger brothers favorite game system. Anyways, I guess this is all for now, I look forward to spending many years here, and meeting many of you wonderful people who reside here. :)

Found this forum while seeking possible Play by Post. Been playing Pathfinder 3yrs both on Roll20 and across the table, DMing across the table for two. Old Skool 2dEdAD&D DM since 1984, never went for 3, 3.5 or 4th.

Hello all. I have been a been a tabletop gamer for a very short time (approx a year or so?) I've played a few D&D campaigns whether official or with friends (read:homebrew) irl and I would often come here to look at the homebrew/world building forums. It's actually what got me interested in playing for real. I really like to post items I come up with (you can find me on the D&D 5e subreddit fairly frequently) but I want to try my hand at world building/classmaking here hopefully. Oh, I mostly enjoy 5e but I do know 3.5 and the open legend system if you've heard of it.

I've never played a game online (minus a few skype sessions when my friends couldn't get together reliably) but the post by post does peak my interest.
