Round 12

Filibert's anger seemed to spur Growler into more aggressive action, and the wolf managed to bite Tsuto's forearm before he twisted away. Gilraen reaches in but his sword hilt raps the wall and the blade darts to the left away from its target. Rax's anger telegraphs his swing too much, and Tsuto is easily able to shift under it and retaliate, sinking his blade into the half-drow's exposed thigh. The pain is too much for the bard, who again collapses to the floor. Tsuto again places two fingers to his forehead and vanishes.

Smin blinks and loses track of his quarry as he moves up. Filibert almost catches a glimpse and swings, but doesn't connect. Gilraen follows behind closely, then Rax draws and fires. The arrow strikes home, and Tsuto reappears as he slumps to the ground, unconscious.

Rax hurries to catch up with Tsuto's unconscious form, wincing and slowing from his wounds now that the rush of battle is subsiding. As he reaches the fallen half-elf, he kicks the other's sword away and searches him for any other weapons before nocking another arrow. "Give me one reason I shouldn't finish him right now!" he grumbles, staring down.

"Well done!" Sminerano exclaims, in awe of the dogged half-drow. His admiration soon turns to alarm, though, when Rax proves all too willing to murder their fallen enemy. "No, no! Don't forget how he got Ameiko to come here! We have to ask him where we can find her... I hope he didn't kill her too!"

Gilraen approaches the downed Half-Elf carefully, still scanning warily for other signs of threats. "Good shot, Rax," he says as he steps behind the Half-Drow. "Sadly, Sminerano has the right of it. We still do not know where Ameiko went, and I will not abide that she be harmed any more than she already has been. I don't have a healing kit, but would you all help me bind him, and wake him?"

The tall Elf stows his bow, kneels to the floor, and begins cutting strips of cloth from the downed man's clothes. Starting first with Tsuto's hands, Gilraen binds him as best he is able, and begins applying pressure to his injuries.

"I suppose we will need to use either our own magic or the wand to ask him any questions..." Despite the calmness of his words, Gilraen's expression demonstrates his displeasure with the suggestion.

"Waste of good magic on a blagg'rd like him." grumbles Filibert, fixing the fallen half-elf with a surly glare. "Nothing for it, though. We better make sure he can't get his fingers up to his forehead before we wake him from his beauty sleep, I didn't have so much fun whittling him down for Rax that I wanna give 'im another go."

After watching and helping to ensure the binding of Tsuto's limbs, Filibert looks over his mount, noting the surface wounds on the wolf's forepaws with concern and anger. Ruffling Growler's ears and noting the pained look of relief on his face, Filibert trudges aside his mount to retrieve his lance before returning to stand over Tsuto. "What d'you say we take a second and patch everybody up in case he's got some other tricks up his sleeves? Take all day to drag him out of here."

Filibert's comment about healing everyone creates a momentary distraction for Gilraen, and the elf moves slightly before realizing that he released the pressure on Tsuto's most grievous wound. A fresh trickle of blood leaks out.
