I estimate 50% chance of it stinging like a bitch and taking Oxy out of the fight for a few moments, 25% chance of destroying his legs, taking him out of the fight for five minutes, and a 25% chance of it destroying his arms, legs, part of his torso, almost kill him, and take him out of the fight for five minutes with a sixth minute needed to recoup energy loss.

In total, 50% chance of experiencing Zenkai.

Does anybody have a percentage calculator?

Hm? as in...huh, that? I had a usual showdown with an irredeemable villain planned man. DBZ main villains generally aren't guys you recruit or whatever. then a visit from the actual god behind the "god".

But I guess that could make for an interesting twist. would certainly shake things up from a usual DBZ plot.

On subject of Dr. Gero she is angry at and doesn’t want to talk about him, preferring to keep to lighter topics. She has no regrets for her actions to save 23 and would gladly do it again but does regret that 21 couldn’t be saved. She prefers to keep a happy, energetic face on the situation but is also the one that is more likely to react very angrily or sadly to bad situations. She does however share some of 23’s sarcastic humor. She also likes kitties and cuddling them, unfortunately this extends to any large cat that can’t resist her super-grip.

When she was kidnapped and put right beside 23, she assured 23 that all would be fine, even in those dark moments, before Gero carted her away first to be enhanced, crying out for 23 to be strong despite how bleak things looked.

Other than that, largely the same as 23’s, diverging when she got teleported back in time.

Original Power Level: 230

Built In Scouter:
She automatically sees the power level of anyone she looks at as a number. She can't even turn it off and thus its kind of annoying.

Drainer:
(Ok, this ability can get overpowered if not designed correctly, so this might be a little complicated)
Android 22’s design makes it so that she is unable to gain power the ordinary way of training, as her muscles are all mechanical. Therefore she needs to drain power from her opponents to strengthen herself.
This draining ability has a few degrees of effect: The default degree is that every time she punches, kicks or touches somebody she drains a slight bit of their power, not enough to be noticeable but accumulated over time it equals the rate at which other people gain power.

However, it has other uses: draining some one directly as an attack and absorbing ki blast attacks

Direct Drain requires grabbing the opponent and having a good firm grip for it to work right. She is essentially increasing her drain degree for a short time to suck in as much energy as possible. Even at its fastest however its not an instant kill, but the foe has to break free from her grip somehow if they want keep living longer than a few turns. However due to her built in Scouter she knows exactly when to break contact and thus keep them alive.

Ki Blast Drain, cannot absorb all ki attacks effortlessly. There is a certain speed at which she drains it even at its fastest, and while that can be increased by getting more powerful, if the foe's ki attack is too powerful she won't be able to absorb all of it to be completely free of damage- consider Ki Blast Draining to be just another block effect, but with the added benefit of giving the user more energy to fight. If the attack is too power to block, or block entirely, Android 22 still gets hurt. For example, a Raditz-level Android couldn't absorb a Freeza-level attack entirely because something like the Death Ball is simply too powerful to absorb fast enough for them. Normal ki blasts however are easily absorbed.

Super-Strength and Speed:
Her mechanical muscles give her both of these relative to her current power level. They cannot be build themselves up, but the energy she is absorbed is converted to make her stronger. However Dr. Gero designed 22 as the ranged blaster of her group, so she is stronger at ki blasts than at punching and kicking.

Flight:
She of course has flight, through a ki-to-anti gravity converter engine.

Organic Components:
She still has some organic capabilities, namely she can eat and drink and taste but her stomach has been altered to convert it all into ki to power her, some of which is used to stop her from aging or at least slow it down. She doesn't need to breathe though, or eat or drink, its all energy to her but food still tastes good. Dr. Gero didn't want his Androids dying from silly things like starvation and wanted them to last long.

Wide Blast:
She is capable of fire a particularly wide red beam of great destructive power.

Specialized Ki Barrage:
Her ki barrages are more powerful than most, and thus produce twice as many ki blasts, as she gets more powerful, she keep up the barrage for longer and longer.
1st level:
She can keep the barrage for one post.

Double Blaster:
Can fire one-handed concentrated beams from both of her hands at the same time

It's just too perfect, after his comment earlier about the scientists who created him not including Shin DNA in his construction despite the shin literally being the god people.

Um, the "Energy Cannon" technique isn't a beam.

It's sort of like. One level above a basic ki blast.

Anyways, anything else that needs rapping up? I hope you all enjoyed what I consider the Solitus Saga. probably a few flaws in it though, and I did kind of be a little "GM" there.

and I kind of wish I had the time to post up character sheets of some of the characters there but I was too caught up in the story to do so.

anyone have any ideas or suggestions going forward? I'm open to them. could keep doing what I do if you want, could let someone else do it if they want, whatever floats your boat.

as for bringing back 22, I had my own version of it planned but, *shrug* oh well, these things happen in roleplaying. for your enjoyment, I will however post how I would've done if 23 ever wished it herself:

Android 23 looks up at the Dragon, the sky dark and determination in her eyes. She remembered all the time she shared with Android 22:

The day they first met, when Gero kidnapped them both. They had been imprisoned side by side. 22 had comforted her, told her that things will be alright. that even in this dark moment, there has to be hope- the mad scientist wanted to only alter them, not kill them. There was still a chance to live, if you had the will to do so.

The day they both saw each other completed. They both secretly congratulated each other, glad that they both survived his horrible processes, glad that they could still be together and have each other at the very least, even if they were trapped and controlled by Gero.

The day they woke up, seven years after Gero was dead. It was only them and 21 now. They were glad that they only had to follow one final order. It was a horrible order. But at least after this, no one else had to die. Their opponents were strong, maybe they would even be able to win and show mercy on the Androids? Yet at the same time, they were sad for all the Androids that died following Gero’s orders, of 17 and 18 not making it and feared that they wouldn’t make it either.

The day they discovered the corpses of all the Z-Warriors. They were happy they didn’t have to kill them. They rejoiced that they didn’t have to be weapons anymore, except for 21. He had wanted a good fight. But then they realized that whoever killed them was probably still out there and still a bigger threat. They soon heard it over the news soon after: Majin Buu was destroying city after city.

The time they were fighting Majin Buu amongst the ruins of West City, they both beaten and battered, 23 had been punched through a building again when 22 came to her. She had doubted that she could go on, that they could beat this monster. But 22 slapped her and told her to not give up, to keep going. They had to keep going, to defend everyone- who else could?

Finally she remembered the pure horror of her energy being sucked away, only seconds away from dying before Android 22 flew in and kicked Android 21 in the head. Android 22 yelled
“Run! Now!”
“But what about-“
“I SAID RUN 23! RUN BEFORE YOU DIE! I’LL HOLD HIM AS LONG AS I CAN!”
“But-“
“GO!”
She flew away from her, with tears in her eyes, knowing those would be the last words she would share with her.

She spoke:
“Some context for my wish: I come from the future. A very specific future centuries after this where my friend, Android 22 died. I know that your strength isn’t limitless, so what I want is for you to open a portal to Android 22-my Android 22- seven seconds before she dies and you need to do it right in front of me, right here, on my mark, and you need to keep it open for those seven seconds for this plan to work.”
When her wish is granted, she takes a certain, familiar stance, breathes in and out for a few moments and then says.
“Ok, do it!”
Suddenly a portal opens right in front of her and time begins to slow down…..

7 Seconds Remaining
In the far future, floating among the ruins of a destroyed city, Android 21 holds Android 22 in his grip by the neck in one arm. He is muscular and wearing a sleeveless undershirt, his blue hair has grown longer, wild and spiky even more from absorbing the energy of Majin Buu and his eyes glow pure red. A dark grin is spread across his face. Android 22 is near death, her struggles becoming weaker and weaker as she is drained.
“Yes!”
Android 21 declared
“Soon all your energy will be mine!”
The portal opens to the left of them.

6 Seconds Remaining
Android 21 in surprise turns his head to the left, confused as to what he sees: Android 23 inside of a portal in a weird stance that seems somehow familiar. But that was impossible! Android 23 had gone running, he could detect her power level- but this 23 also had the same power level! How were they in two places at once!? Was this some sort of trick!? The portal 23 yells:
“Solar Flare!”

5 Seconds Remaining
As blinding light fills 21’s vision he suddenly lets go of Android 22 in pain, clutching at his eyes while yelling out swear words and bemoaning how he didn’t see that coming sooner. Android 22, her power level drain stopping and thus her power level stabilizing at 230, was no longer supported by 21’s hand around her neck and gravity began to reach out to take hold of her…

4 Seconds Remaining
…Until Android 23 began her flash step, going as fast she possibly can, time slowing down for her as she leaps through the portal, and grabs a hold of Android 22 around her waist. She had her. Yes. She had Android 22 again. Now to she had to make sure they would both survive the next three seconds.

3 Seconds Remaining
Android 23 then flash steps back through the portal while carrying Android 22, she quickly sets her down to the side of the portal, and then looks back up, it still wasn’t over.

2 Seconds Remaining
Android 23 yells out a warning.
“Everyone! Dodge!”
Android 21 recovers enough on the other side and in anger at what just happened, begins to gather energy for his ki attack.
“Galick-“

1 Second Remaining
“-Gun!”
and thus does a big red beam of energy come blasting through the portal before it closes. It can only affect anyone who is right in front of the portal, but its still dead enough to destroy almost anyone stand in its way. 23 of course anticipated this would happen and put her and 22 to the side where it wouldn’t reach them

Zero, Times Up.
The portal is closed. On one side, Android 21 is confused and angry about what just happened while a scared and distraught 23 in the distance only detects Android 22’s power level disappearing from her internal scouter, not seeing what really happened, and so she assumes what is likely: that Android 22 had died.

On this side, Android 23 remembers that moment, and didn’t really care anymore. Android 22 was back. She had brought her back. Her best friend was back. Finally.
“22…..I brought you back….you…are back right? Please….be alright…”
Android 22’s eyes fluttered open, then she slowly arose, zombie-style while yelling
“BRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIINNNNNSSS!!!!”
Android 23 was for a moment, shocked- then she got the joke, and laughed uproariously.
“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA- oh god, 22 that would’ve been a great one to pull, though I would’ve gone with Frankenstein myself.”
Android 22 then began acting normally- which is to say she suddenly grabbed Android 23 in a bear hug and spun around her heel while carrying 23 in the air, 22 being strong and stocky compared to 23’s lithe and speedy form.
“23! YOUR BACK! YOU SAVED ME! We’re together again, YAAAAAY! and I’m fine silly! Just at very low power levels! I’m so glad to see you again!!”
“Thats….fine…..22….would you please put me down?”
She stops spinning and sets her down.
“Kay! Where are we anyways? and who are all THESE people!?”
“Oh…that….is a long story 22. I can tell it after some introductions…”

yeah sure, seems about right.

really the inspiration for Solitus was actually a combination of Solar Exalted, Asura from Asura's Wrath and Oxyribo if he had been born in the Iron Age. sure he looks kind of like Broly, but his arms really were natural and his final form really was his natural form- he was restraining his power for a greater challenge against weaker foes.

then I put in Sun Kai being just a low-level bureaucrat of a mere Solar System amongst the Kai's to round things out and place a DBZ comedic twist at the end, instead of the sun god being some mystical divine thing.

As for second set: lets say no, Shenron is a Callins Dragon Ball thing. also, if we're going to have two sets of them, they should probably have different rules to make having two sets of them something that matters. also maybe slightly different appearances? because Earth Dragon Balls and Namekian Dragon Balls have clear differences in size, and I don't think they are interchangeable, so Oxy's Dragon Balls are probably going to differ appearance wise, and these are probably the only two sets of Dragon Balls we should have at maximum, any more and it just starts getting ridiculous

there is also the problem of two sets of Dragon Balls both being more vulnerable to being taken and used, as well as the problem that since its very very hard to kill Oxy, it might essentially mean his Dragon Balls being there forever as long as he is. which might actually be a problem: if Callins dies there is no incentive to go to Namek to bring him back. as well as the fact that the villains could completely ignore the protagonists quest for the Dragon balls and go after the ones that can't possibly ever get destroyed. it would just cause too many plot problems.
