But the current discussion on how the spirit bomb should affect people makes me wary. This is freeform, people. How an attack effects a character is based on the defending player's imagination. Not canon, not power levels, not whatever else.

How about we trust everyone can handle what should happen to their characters, so we don't need to wonder about anyone's preferences beforehand? Just make the attack IC, and let the other player react to it IC.

And if you want to know "can I win or kill X?", ask that directly. Save the actual detail for when you write it out.

How about you let us communicate and play this how we want it to instead of constantly criticizing how we do things?

I have seen freeform gone wrong. it isn't pretty. everyone needs to be on the same page, because there are no rules to enforce that same page. trust me, after you experienced a massive clusterfrack of a roleplay involving eleven or twelve apocalypses all happening at the same time, numerous evil warlords all terraforming the same world with every single one of them super-optimizing themselves in ways Oxyribo can only dream of, all according to their imagination without consulting anyone else beforehand, and all of them hyper-powerful AND using some form of Completely Indestructible Metal in their technological arsenal all played by very argumentative people that make roleplayers on Giantitp look like saints, while other people play weak characters that could do nothing more than shout curse words at them before being defeated instantly, and when your own 10,000 year old dragon wizard/artificier character is one of the weaker characters in the roleplay who had died like, 17 times and only came back because he always beat Death at Chess....

...you quickly learn that good communication, friendly relationships with your fellow roleplayers, compatible ideas about how things work, what levels of power your playing at, agreement upon what your playing and such and so on, are pretty vital things, as well as the limitations are. ESPECIALLY in freeform, because you got to define this stuff yourself if you don't have a system to do it for you. trust me. I'd rather have things as they are now.

Notice how the suggestion is to solve "who should win" etc. in private.

That's what I'm doing. If you have not received a PM from me asking if your character could lose that you agreed to, you have free hands to do whatever with your character. And likewise, if I haven't received a PM from you, I have free hands to do whatever.

Understand that and your life will be much easier.

look. as far as I see Frozen Feet, your the only one who is having these problems with the rest of us, and to which I say to you: get with the program. I'm not letting you dictate how things go just because your being stubborn. I can tell your used to getting a certain way about these things but, you gotta learn to work with us here. I'm not having this problem with anyone else, neither are we having any problems communicating amongst ourselves on how to have fun. its only you that seems to have a problem here, so I don't see why the rest of us should be the ones to change to your tune.

As a hint, well, Pokasuu was always meant to be either the primary or secondary "magic" person, and have a bit more variety of skill than my other two characters.

I originally planed to do this a bit later, as I said, but I figured doing it now means there's one less person involved in the Kami mess.

There's a bit of foreshadowing of this in Pokasuu's character entry and in a comment I had Oxy make, if you want to look and see if you can figure it out.

Okay, now that I've mostly cleared out what will happen with Kami, I want to apologize to Rater and Cavalier for calling them ridiculous. That was rude of me. I really hope we can continue with the game now.

Second, I want to make this explicit, since I failed the first time around: solving whatever puzzle I make isn't something you need to do continue the game. It is purely optional. You can just keep playing your character as you think makes sense. You shouldn't worry knowing about my character's actions beforehand, because if it ever does become a life-and-death thing, I will negotiate it with you.

If you really feel you need or want to know regardless, you can always shoot me a PM.

This is not in spirit any different than what I said to begin with, but I need you to believe I harbor no animosity towards you as players. I'm not trying to goad you into a single set of actions. The only proof I can give for that is my word, so if that's no enough, there's nothing I can do.

**Just Because the party also includes Red Ribbon Androids, a Saiyan, and a Tuffle, does not mean we need to add a dragon, a Namekian, and whatever the hell Pilaf is to the party just because.

*If the Party includes a Technomancer who is proficient with all ranged weapons, a skilled Flyer, a Badass magic ninja, a Dragonborn(skyrim), and a double-Prince who is also a dragon, it's a bit odd that the PCs are all still in middle school.

The Part currently includes 2 members of Frieza's race(Frieza), one Bio-Android(Cell) two Red-Ribbon Androids(Red Ribbon Army & Super 17) one Saiyan (Vegeta), one Majin(Buu) and one Tuffle(Baby)

All we need are 1 Namekian(Piccolo Daimao), one Pilaf race(Pilaf... duh) and one Dragon(Omega Shenron) and we will have at least one member of each race that produced a Big Bad from DB, Z, or GT.

I myself am playing basically all of the major story arcs of Z, racewise

my reaction to it is: "If 23 was the one meeting Beerus instead, the Earth would be doomed."

and all around pretty awesome, especially the Vegeta parts.

Oxy as he is now, meeting Beerus... That ends one of two ways, and neither is good for the earth.

Oddly enough, I think societies from Iron Age or Bronze Age (I can never tell the difference) would more likely survive Beerus's wrath than modern day. People back then placed a lot of importance on hospitality to anyone that comes to their home. Beerus just seems to apply that to entire planets for some reason. I'd shudder what to think if he came across just some random people in our modern impersonal society used to expediency over niceties and thus just spoke their mind about whatever without any second thought because they're too busy for anything else.

I don't know Raziere, regardless of politeness or hospitality, I get the feeling if Beerus came across Iron or Bronze age Earth, he'd be inclined to be like: "Yeah, these primitives can't be worth my time." *Destruction Bomb*. Besides, Bronze and Iron Age societies probably wouldn't have good enough food to keep Beerus in a non-destructive mood.

Also, I gotta say, speaking of Beerus and our OCs has put the mental image of Beerus getting KITTY!'d by Pokasuu and 22 in my head. Hmmm, can't decide whether them doing that would make the Earth more or less likely to be destroyed.

I remember when BoG came out, somebody was spreading pictures of a redesigned SSJ4 Goku fighting Beerus.

Edit: Part of me is hoping that the King Kai ative to this instance of Otherworld is watching this fight, and is torn between being psyched that his techniques are being used to kick ass and pissed that someone else is using them before he himself has perfected them.
